is RX Vega supposed to be 1300 kh/s range in cryptonote heavy?

[\quote]

My Vega64 8Gb in cryptonote heavy shows stable 1520 h/s without --maxmem , if I try the --maxmem I can get 1650 h/s for a couple of minutes and after that it drops to 1100 h/s and never go up. Pagefile is set 8-16Gb.

Is anyone else trying to use Vega 56s and Frontier Editions on the same rig?  What a pain in the d@ck.
If so, and you've been successful, how are you doing it?  I'm thinking I'll have to do the registry mods (tables) for the 56s.
Is there an easier way?

thanks

i prefer to have them in 2 separate rigs, these are mine

Vega frontier

I'd prefer it too, but I'm not going to build a rig for 1 card.

Hi guys i have some doubts. xD

1 -Any command in cast to restart the miner after x minutes?

2 -should i have hbcc on or its the same for mining? i dont see any increase if i enable it.

3- Anyone tried more than 8 gpu vegas?

Thanks

Hi. I m running it on my rigs , one of them is 10 x vega 56.
Hbcc doesnt do anything.
You should use awesome miner or some other monitoring tool to make it restart .

Hi,

Any example of free software monitoring to make it restart?
I was using cast-xmr-ui but doesn t work good anymore for new versions..

Thanks

With Radeon Driver 18.3.4 and Cast XMR Version 1.0.0 you don't need enabled/disabled HBCC Memory Segment - hashrate is the same.
I have 4 Vega 56@64 bios - cryptonight V7 1970h/s ,cryptonight heavy 1500h/s
Windows 10 x64/Radeon Driver 18.3.4/Cast XMR Version 1.0.0

i notice how the miner freezes but it continues mining and shows hashrate, but its not sending to pool or any commands working like S/H to check hashrates, the miner has frozen but keeps mining.

not good.... it doesn't detect it itself either. we're all here in cast xmr bitcointalk and people suggest other miners!!! lol!

but rx vega 56 whats the typical hashrate? only getting 1300, in regular cryptonight V7 the HBCC works and boosts me to 1800, here that doesn't work despite being the same miner!

Here is my config cast_xmr-vega --algo=-2 -G "0,1,2,3"  -S 192.99.32.219:4444 -u Sumoo7BJnebH8gKEB"" -p x

it connects, it mines, but i dont see any stats on website. btw 8000 h/s is that normal for 1 gpu? ... calculator shows wrong maybe on website but my gpu shows 8000 h/s each in miner?

Edit: thank you! the other poools probably didn't support Cast XMR miner!

Try this config:
cast_xmr-vega --opencl 1 --reconnects 1 --fastjobswitch --algo=2 -G 0,1,2,3 -S 192.99.32.219:4444 -u YOUR_WALLET_ADDRESS -p x

https://pool.sumokoin.com/ and https://sumo.miner.rocks/ is ok

is RX Vega supposed to be 1300 kh/s range in cryptonote heavy?

in regular Cryptonight V7 i get 1800+ as i now swapped to sumokoin and cryptonight heavy im only getting 1200-1300 ,,, trying to keep HBCC activated but not sure if the other gpu's are breaking it or not.

Second big issue is RX580 doing 450-500 H/s  but some with same bios are doing 800 kh/s, the memory allocated to system is around the same for each rig, any ideas? i did increase the virtual memory to 60GB for 6 rx580's that should be enough right?

cn-heavy is lower than cn, but very much depends on the miner

RX580 should be 900+ if not 1k
try SRBminer, on rx480 with Uber3.1 timings I get ~1k in both cn and cn-heavy

and checkout Forager, in my signature, which will benchmark all of them and switch to the most profitable coin Wink

Pool not showing hashrate after 1 hour, i put "wallet name.worker name"

meh i dont think this miner works for sumo annymore, putting cryptonight heavy,  i get work from pool but never accepted
I mined SUMO all day yesterday at https://sumo.miner.rocks/  using cast with Zero problems.

Hi,

I am the developer of rig-monitor (see here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2128602.0;all ) and got some requests to support castXMR. Could someone send an example call to the management API together with the json output?

Thanks

Hi!, hope to see this working with your rig monitor, I haven't tested but it seems pretty powerful.
When castxmr is executed using --remoteaccess you go to http://127.0.0.1:7777 and you get this, no file extension. This is what I get:
