Hi can anyone help.

How do you set up remote monitoring?
I use Awsome Miner just to monitor my rigs and I am unsure how to set it up.

I added "--remoteaccess" to my .bat file ....but I cant access it?
It will work if I input the desired http address into the rig I want to monitor but thats counter productive ...its not remote access if I have to physically put in the address on the rig I want to check on lol. I can just look at the read out on the mining programme.

Never mind I figured it out .

I just tried again with SUMO on v1.0.0
I get the same problem mentioned above. Pool rejects and advices to switch to alternate miner.

When trying to troubleshoot, it was evident the documentation needs to be updated. Neither the help (-h flag), the home page or the front page here on Bitcointalk is updated with information on new algorithms.
Anyway, no luck so far with CAST and Cryptonight Heavy.   XMR_STAK works fine.

Here is the start command if anyone wonders:

cast_xmr-vega  --algo=2  -I 9  --nonicehash  --fastswitch  -S pool.sumokoin.hashvault.pro:7777  -u Sumo-adress.... -p "x" -G 0,1,2,3,4

What problem?
My config working fine with Cast v1.0.0 for vega56&64 (no --maxmem option for v56):
Code:
cast_xmr-vega  -a 2  --maxmem --fastjobswitch --reconnects 9999 -R --remoteport 5447 -G 0,1,2 --opencl 1 -I 9 -S eu-ru02.miningrigrentals.com:3333 -u user.here -p x3-vega64

Hi, what is -I 9 for? I don't see it in any documentation / help? Could you please explain? Thank you.
Intensity.

it does nothing

Hi,

I am the developer of rig-monitor (see here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2128602.0;all ) and got some requests to support castXMR. Could someone send an example call to the management API together with the json output?

Thanks

Is there any way to increase the intensity on a single GPU?

I just got an FE and am getting 2.2kh+ on CN-Heavy with both stak & srbminer. However I’m only getting 1.6kh on Cast for some reason.

On srbminer I had to nearly double the intensity of my FE (120) over my 56’s (55). I’m wondering if there’s any way to try something similar on just that 1 GPU with Cast.

There seems to be an issue with the New Windows 10 April Update and Cast XMR:

Cast miner won't initialize GPU's after latest Windows 10 update?

Miner recently installed the latest windows 10 updates overnight even though windows update was disabled in services and now Cast miner just sits during start at "Initializing GPU's", anyone else having this issue?

What's the problem exactly? I think I solved that.
There were 2 problems.

- ULPS
- unwanted iGPU driver update what makes the miner stop at initializing if you're using the iGPU

How are people finding cast on the new updated windows? My experience has been it is a little slower.

Is there anyone with a working --log option?
The application stops working at the beginning when I want to create a log file   Huh

For some info:

What is the best power consumption you can get for a card that hashing 1900+ ?

Hi,

I've problem, that after few hour of mining on RX Vega 56, app just hangs. Card & Windows still works. I can close the window, and run application again.
No matter if OC or not... Sad Driver is 18.4.1.

However, performance is great. Thanks for great miner.

Any idea, hint/fix?

Thanks.

better try driver 18.3.4 because some people reported driver 18.4.1 not stable for them.

I have the same issue and I am using driver 18.3.4. Miner hangs and continues to draw power while windows is still responsive.

A couple of things I've learned about Cast...

When you're switching coins, even if the same algo, always reboot your rig before starting the new coin.  You'll get the full hashrate of your GPU's.

If you receive the "Share Rejected - Unauthenticated" error, change to the next lowest hash port on the pool.  Apparently, if you don't submit a valid share for a period of time, the pool drops you and you become "Unauthenticated".

That is all... Carry on!

Hi There!
I do not know about you guys, but I get better performance with CAST 0.9.06 version rather than 1.0.  on Heavy algo.
About 50Hs per Vega or RX580.

Very stable with both though.

I'm getting 1430+ average on castxmr 1.0.0 and only 1330+ average on 0.9.6 using vega 56 stock bios, blockchain driver. Is this where you got your miner? (https://github.com/glph3k/cast_xmr/releases)
I got it directly from the dev website link.

Funny thing is I get the opposite results that you get. Although my 56s do not have stock BIOS.
At the moment with 9.06 i get 1400 on the 56s and 1500 on the 64.
If i switch to 1.0, I get lower rates than those. Using --maxmem and --memset
