Hmmm... so it's not just my 980TI that freezes for nearly 30 seconds when the difficulty is changed by the stratum on Suprnova when doing Decred (at 14:09:45).

it has double the hashrate of a 970 with the wattage of one for decred, which is really good, but it cost 3 times more, not worth it for the moment, also decred is bad to mine versus eth
Decred sp-mod #9 does 3.3 ghash on the 980ti. 2.7 for the 1080 is low
yes but with what consumption? 1080 can do 3300 with oc too, but consuming only 180w, the 980ti will consume like 250 or more

That is my second psu replacement from ANTEC. I will never buy ANTEC again. To send it back for a second rma would cost me more BTC then buying a new different psu.

Found a problem with ccminer SP_MOD. Ctrl C doesn't work when the miner is in a reconnect loop.
I was mining a pool when the stratum server crashed and the miner when into the 30 second retry
loop. I hit Ctrl C several times but the miner would never exit, just kept looping. I had to close the
shell.
It happened with two different versions of ccminer (1.5.72 7 1.5.78), both on Windows. Linux exitted properly.

Adding to my previous post...
Had a quick look at the AsRock BTC Pro manual, and couple of things sparked my interest:
- Onboard NIC uses x1 PCIe lane!
- 1 Slot can do PCIe v2.0 x16
- 5 Slots are PCIe v2.0 x1
I don't know what other Onboard devices might be using up lanes as those are not clearly stated (though I posted about the usual suspects already). It would be wise to disable every single motherboard/chipset feature that is not critical to the rig operation.
@crysx & others, what setting do you have on the BIOS for "PCIE2 Link Speed"? Maybe worth fiddling with the possible options there.
Edit: One last note on this mental exercise: I'm with joblo in suspecting that it could just be that the problem is when you cross the 32GB boundary in memory attached to PCIe devices. If this is the case, you'll find that the same rig will max out at 4 * GTX1080's

My Asus Z97 has a config for the second x16 slot: x2 with both x1 slots enabled or x4 with x1 slots disabled.
SATA express always uses PCIe so it should be disabled. Other devices may use PICe lane depending on the
motherboard.
PCIe link speed should probably be auto. The only reason not to is if the card has incompatibilities.

just a thought, 80% of my cards are 750Ti and GTX970, I never ever mixed them, i already have way too many problems with risers, lack of lanes, power limitations, to have to deal with different compute architectures in the same machine hehe.
(EDIT) I just saw the image you posted again, you could disable onboard VGA too, and use the vga on the 16x slot as primary adapter,less driver issues as well.

Sorry, the PSU i mention in my previous post was SENTEY SDP850SS (dunno why endup written sentry hehe, automatic corrector maybe)
Primary adapter I mean if you connect your monitor to the rig, the card connected to the first 16x connector, should be the primary adapter (ie connected to the monitor) if you dont conect a monitor (BETTER!) and access remotely, it doesn't matter
You don't get to the bios from team-viewer, that can only be done in servers, with iLO2 (HP) or DRAC (Dell) (fantastic feature btw!, but only reserved to the best of the best
)650W, depends on the brand, could be a little small for 6x 750Ti, I will be more confortable with 750W 80plus. , i have that setup with a single sentey 850W PSU, better safe than sorry
but if that PSU is good, and you keep TDP low, it should be enough, my rig uses 300W at the wall mining quark with 6x 750Ti so, 650W PSU, if can really take 650W, would be enough. for example a GX650 Coolermaster is a nice little beast, it will leaf is ass of with only 300W of power consumption hehe.good that you have a power meter!!
On reboot again it may work.... now to try mining.
