I think most users won't agree to use the lightning network due to complicity.

I advise moving our campaign to the Altcoin Service section and making payments through LTC or stable coins. You may use multisenders if necessary. It would save a lot of transaction fees. Moving our campaign threads will have no effect on anything. Because we have enough participants, wherever we need new participants, they will definitely find and apply there. It's just to follow the forum rules.

Although the network is still congested but not as crazy as it was. Instead of LN, I have these suggestions;

Bi-weekly payment
Deduction of $1 worth of BTC from all participants payment to augment the fee
Bestchange sending the transactions with a fairly reasonable but not outrageous fee and we'll wait till it drops.

They have a lots of small output in the same tx which cost them a huge fee. For the bestchange campaign size output, these days, it doesn't require more than $30 fee in total.

You do not have to pay opening a channel fees if you use a wallet such as https://phoenix.acinq.co/faq#what-are-the-fees, but you will have to pay on-chain fees when you want to transfer Bitcoin from the Lightning network to your wallet.

If you have not used the Lightning Network before, you will be apprehensive, but it is an opportunity to try something new.
If this doesn't work, it might be better for payments to be monthly and for each member to contribute $10 towards the fees.

$10 * 25 member = $250 Enough to make BESTCHANGE pay zero fees.

It doesn't seem likely that BestChange wants to move out of Bitcoin payment. At least, that's what I was given to understand the last time this issue was raised. However, bi-weekly payment in Bitcoin can suffice at this time.

Again, for anyone suggesting monthly payment; kindly remember the fluctuations in price that's inevitable.

Hey Best_Change I think almost all Green family members are definitely concerned too about this erroneous amount you pay to get transactions confirmed. I don’t know maybe you followed it up but from here, Mpamaegbu raised the question and almost everyone agreed to any change decided by you ranging from bi-weekly payment, monthly payment or even other Altcoins. Bestchange campaign is older than me in this forum and he has sustained the campaign non stop. A big congratulations. As a newbie, I witnessed some reputable and good posters in Bestchange campaign, such as CryptopreneurBrainboss, Ratimov, Lovesmayfamilis, Nultida, Hugeblack, Poka player etc. There were many of them but it could be that the people I listed above in one way or the other affected me. They were somewhat competing with the chipmixer participants. From newbie to Legendary and Bestchange is stil here.

How time flies, indeed. Four years, wow! I didn't enrol then till a few years later but I followed part of the drama and forum politics then and how certain quarters thought this campaign wouldn't last because of what they felt was an unrealistic high pay rate. Maybe the pioneer participants who are still with the green family can furnish us with what the heart beat was like then belonging to what is now one of the most prestigious campaigns in the forum.
