Thanks @Rikafip for compiling this information.

I'm starting to think I have a problem, as I wasn't expecting to have 300 posts in October just in the Portuguese tab. Lips sealed

Jolly? I think I've heard that name before. hmm
Finally I was able to enter the top 10 list on the local board. This is the first time in my entire life. Do I need to celebrate this? maybe throw a small party?
Thank you Rikafip

Chart lovers rejoice, its time for yet another brief monthly overview of the local boards activity but this time a little bit later than usual. All charts and table are made using data from @DdmrDdmr Merit Dashboard and @TryNinja Ninjastic.space while images are uploaded via TalkImg.com - Image hosting for BitcoinTalk made by @joker_josue.

Communities marked with * (Pakistan, Bangladesh) don't have their own local boards yet and that's somethiong that I hope will change soon. @theymos @Cyrus, what are you guys waiting for?  Smiley

Post activity per local board during October 2023

During October, 22105 posts were made across 18 local boards which is a significant increase compared to a September's numbers (18741) which is a 18% increase and iirc one of the best results in a while. I guess combination of summer being over and market looking better helped with that increase and I hope it continues the same in the months ahead.

When it comes to the most active boards, no surprise there: Russian is still far ahead the other, with Turks at the 2nd and Nigerians at the high 3rd spot. It is unusual to see German board being the 6th most active one as they were in the top 3 for the majority of time I nam doing doing these overviews and I hope that they can recover.

Like at the top, no changes at the other side either with the standard three names at the bottom.

Local Board post race

Animated local board post race chart, courtesy of bitmover

Active members per local board during October 2023

In the above mentioned period 1504 members wrote at least 1 post on one of the local boards which is a noticeable increase compare to a month before and 1355 active members. Once again Russian local  board had by far the most active members, with Nigerian at the 2nd and Indonesian at 3rd.

Its important to mention the Nigerian growth as at the begining of the year they had less than 90 active members and now that number doubled, with the tendency to keep increasing while Indonesians are not doing bad either in that regard.

Local board members per amount of posts during October 2023

When it comes to the percentage of members who wrote only 1 post in their board during above mentioned period, Indian is the leader with 71%, followed by Romanian (64%) and Greek (55%). At the same time, Croatian has only 14% of such members while Nigerian and Indonesian share the 2nd least with 21%.

Regarding the 2-9 posts bracket, Polish board is the leader with 56%, followed by Bangladesh (46%) and Russian (43%) local boards. Likewise, Greek local, board has ther lowest percentage of such members (only 9%), followed by Romanian (18%) and Portuguese (19%) local boards.

In the 10+ posts bracket, Turkish board is the leader with 50% of such members, while Portuguese is 2nd with 49% and Nigerian 3rd with 47%. At the same time, Indian board has the lowest percentage (13%), followed by Romanian (18%) and Polish (22%) local boards.

Merit shared per local board during October 2023

During October, 10296 merit was shared across local board, which is a slight increase compared to month before ( 9835). I have to say that I thought increase will be bigger than it was due 18% more written posts, but this is a still good number and i will take any increase. After all, only a few local boards still struggle with merit while majority are in a pretty good situation.

Once again Russian board is at the top, but this time Indonesian came really close and 2097 merit shared in a month must have been their recors so far. I know that @hugeblack was helping them lately (and other local boards that lacked merit) via his thread but I think someone else might have started sharing merit there as well. Another positive surprise is Indian local board that had only 56 merit shared in September while last month that number increased to 318 which is a very good result.

Regarding the boards that had decrease, German board used to be higher and even overtook Russian board for a coiple of months, but for whatever reason thjey dropped below 1k which is still ok givenb their number of posts.

Merit/Post ratio per local board for October 2023

Since both number of posts and number of merit went up (with number of posts went up more), generally speaking there's no big diffeence compared to previous month. What is noticeable though is that 12 month average ratio is higher for many boards than the last month's which is not a good trend. But, even with that, merit/post ratio is still pretty solid for majority of boards, while some like Phillipines could definitely use outside help.

Regarding the boards with the highest ratio, for the first time ever Indonesian is at the top with an 1.24 ratio, which is even more impressive considering their activity as smaller boards like Arabic tend to have high ratio.

Percentage of merited posts across local boards during October 2023

Something strange happened in Indian board as they somehow managed to have 55% percent of posts that receive at least 1 merit which is the highest percentage I saw so far, esepcially since their usual number is much lower and it its around 20%. It would be interesting to hear someone from that board how they managed to achieve that and is their post quality increased that much or something else caused it. At the same time, polsih is not that far ahead but it is kinda normal for less active boards to have higher percentage of merited posts.

Merit senders and receivers per local board during October 2023

During the above mentioned period, 555 members sent the merit across local boards while 655 received. Compared to September's numbers (517/552) that is a slight increase which is not a surprise given the increase in the amount of merit shared and the overall oncrease of post activity.

Merit per transaction across local boards during October 2023

And the last in this series of charts, merit per transanction so we can get a better idea or each local board meriting habits. Once again, less active boards are at the top but the most active one (Russian) is not that far either.

The most active members per local board during October 2023

Last but not the least, in this month's local  board overview, list of the most active member per local board as they are the ones most responsible for keeping their local boards alive. As per usual, joker_josue from the Portuguese local board has been the most active with 306 posts, followed by Smartprofit (287) and BVeyron (237) from Russsian local board.

Dear @Rikafip
I am finishing this month's overview as we speak so you can expect it either tonight or tomorrow at the latest.

I blame myself for making these last few overviews on time, instead slacking as usual so people don't expect it so early but I mostly blame fillippone because he published his overview too early, putting pressure on me.  Grin
The expectations are very much high. We came here to check all time to see you if the update has been dropped but no avail. Today is 16th November 2023. My expectation is even dieing down. Probably fillippone work load is not much as yours. Even our local board update is not dropped yet. Though the analyst said he didn't travel with his laptop so when he comes back then the update will drop. I really appreciate your efforts this is not easy.  To gather data from all users is not an easy task. Well done.

Nigerian Board is running fast!! Congrats!

@bitmover thanks you for the acknowledgement. We are trying in our corner though we are not competing with fillippone (Italians) and Russians and any other LB but doing things on our own way. We are really growing rapidly and that is why we need Moderators, and Merit Sources to complement the board. On behalf of naija LB, I appreciate Rikafip and President fillippone and other prestige members in the forum for their support.

Sorry, of course I am joking, but your meme about my excuses last month hurt so badly, that I had to react.

Hopefully in the next year my username will be on this list. I will fight hard  Wink
it ain't that hard to enter top in Indonesian board as all it takes is ~40 posts written in a month.

Can we expect to get our own local board for Bangladesh by the end of 2023 or maybe 2024? Do you think, if we have any hope for that?
Based on from what I have seen, chances to get youur own local board by the end of 2023 are not good but then again you never so all you can do really is remain active and eventually you will get your own local board like Nigerians did.

Another thing, why does Bangladesh & Pakistan have a star (*) sign beside the name in your chart? Does it indicate anything?
As joker_josue explained, that means that those are not local boards yet. When I started making these overvies, I inlcuded only local boards but after some time I noticed that some local threads are more active than some local boards so in order to support them and spread awareness, I included them too but still wanted to separate it a little bit so people know the difference.

Although it's nice to see and you can guess how many merits/transaction are being distributed among the boards but since you spend your precious time on those graph.. these graphs must be useful. And for this graph I'm not sure how this chart will be beneficial
I removed the chart once, but then there were people (read: fillippone  Grin) who actually wanted to see that chart so I brought it back. And I am glad that I did because it helps to get idea of different merit habits across local boards. If some people think that some charts (or even all of them) are useless, that's fine too.  Wink

For example in the case of French board only 137 merits were distributed, but they are on second spot here, but in the merit/post chart they are on the 4th from bottom

I think may be you need to add a minimum post and / minimum merit transactions limit for this graph.
I see no problem with it, and I don't plan to set any transaction limit as that's just how things go on less active boards. My goal is just to present the data as it is and nothing else.

Merit per transaction across local boards during August 2023

Last in this series of chart (and ther latest addition) merit per transaction that gives a little bit more insight into local boards merit habits. Its no surprise to see that local boards with the highest merit/post ratio also (more or less)  have highest merit/tx ratio as well.

As always Thank you Rikafip for spending your precious time every month for these statistics.

These graph helps to see and impresses me on how Nigerian board's statistics have changed, after getting their own local board. They are among top 3 in almost every graph. Well done Nigeria.

I see a new addition to the charts is "Merit per transaction across" where Arabic is on the top with 2.66 merits per transaction, and French is on second with 2.44 merits/transaction.

Although it's nice to see and you can guess how many merits/transaction are being distributed among the boards but since you spend your precious time on those graph.. these graphs must be useful. And for this graph I'm not sure how this chart will be beneficial, I mean let say one local board have only few posts but one post was worthy merits and got good merits in a single transaction in that case this board will be on the top.

For example in the case of French board only 137 merits were distributed, but they are on second spot here, but in the merit/post chart they are on the 4th from bottom Smiley

I think may be you need to add a minimum post and / minimum merit transactions limit for this graph.

Anyway this is my point of view may be this chart is useful someone else, so thank you once again for your efforts Smiley

It indicates that they are not local boards, but that statistics are still collected based on what is done in the respective local posts.
