Rikafip, I would like to inform you that it seems that you are retrieving the August post count data for the September update especially for the Indonesian Local Board. Supposedly for the month of September the number of posts by the Indonesian Local Board only amounted to 487 (if you take the data on the merit dashboard). Looks like you'll have to edit it a bit this time. I've also updated it some time ago, but unfortunately posts like this are not interesting enough on my Local Board so it must be hard to get 1000 merit in a year. Lol

Edit, sorry I didn't realize you were using ninjastic.space to do the calculation as my eyes were focused on the charts, but the post count was the same as last month (934) based on the merit dashboard. Sorry again, it's my fault but it looks like I'll still be using the merit dashboard for a while to do the monthly calculation.

Despite me trying to be on time, I am again a little bit late with the monthly overview, albeit not as late as the previous one, so that's positive. All charts and tables are made thanks to @DdmrDdmr Merit Dashboard and @TryNinja Ninjastic.space.

Reminder: Communities marked with * don't have their own local boards.

Post activity per local board during September 2021

Since I started using ninjastic.space for Russian local board, I decided to start using it for all other local boards as it wouldn't make much sense to only use it for one board. Due that, all numbers will be slightly higher as ninjastic.space cunts deleted post.

Regarding the post count, its somewhat similar to 8/2021, with Russian board on top, followed by Turkish and German (whose numbers are constantly decreasing for months now), with Italian and Portuguese closing the top 5. Regarding the languages without local board, Nigerian and Pakistan looks consistently strong; hopefully they can keep up those numbers as that's the only way to get their own local board.

Merit shared per local board during September 2021

Compared to August, September was slightly better month merit wise, with 6956 merit shared (August having 6850). No changes at the top; Russian board is far ahead the others with 2496 merits shared (decrease from August and 2850), followed by Turkish which is on the rise, and Italian at the 3rd spot. Like with posts, Germsan board keeps going down, as now 4th most merited board while it used to be 2nd for the majotity of these overviews.

By far the biggest "looser" is Pilipinas board with only 19 merits shared, which is very low number for board with that kind of activity (531 posts written). I have no idea what's going on there, but maybe it's time for some of their members to apply for a merit source spot.

Merit senders and receivers per local board during September 2021

Everything is pretty obvious here, with some boards sticking out as always, like Pilipinas that had decent amount of members invloved in merit shared despite very low numbers. Same thing can be said about German, but on a much higher scale of course.

Merit/Post ratio per local board for September 2021

Last but not the least in this series of charts, merit/post ratio. Like in the previous month, it's nice to see that blue chart keeps dominating which will hopefully continue in the months to come.

The most active members per local board during September 2021

And in the end, list of the most active members per local board.

Here is a rough one-year linear extrapolation for some boards:

I see what you are trying to do. But bear in mind two things.  The first has to do with extrapolations.
Every time I hear the word extrapolation I think of this comic:

The secondi a the fact that the “theymos boost” we observed with last merit reshuffle is going to probably fade away, and slowly impact negatively on your extrapolations.

Sure, extrapolations are not always certain.

The rule of dumb is, the more data the better, to plot a function.

It's just that I have a little doubt about the actual number of posts throughout September because on the merit dashboard the number of posts made is only 487 for the 4 existing board categories, while on ninjastic.space the number of posts reaches 934. So far I know ninjastic.space saves all posts that were deleted or moved to another board, but I'm not sure nearly 50% of that number was lost during september due to being deleted by moderators. The only reason I'm thinking about decreasing the post count is that some users deleted their own posts during september.
Looking at Indonesian board post count evolution , looks like there is a less posts in the altcoin board than usual (as sen in the screenshot below). My guess is that there was some kind of cleaning, meaning one of your mods could have deleted some old topics or moved them somewhere else, causing this difference in the post count. It wouldn't be a first time, and certainly last this has happened.

I have updated the Indonesian Local Board activity for september as it should be. I did it faster than rikafip which may have been a bit busy in the last few months, you can find it here. Re: [CHART] Tampilan Bulanan Aktivitas Lokal Board Bahasa Indonesia.

I took the liberty to plot a simple graph with the data provided by @Rikafip of monthly post count belonging to several local boards:

I also wanted to study where there was a simple way to study the behavior of individual post counts for local boards, unfortunately, I believe that Excell my be not confisticate enough, perhaps one may need to try with mathlab.

The bottom line is local board only help members earn merit easier.
Nope, generalization. Some boards do have high merit/post ratio, while others are struggling. My local board (Croatian) struggled a lot until this recent increase in merit sources, with our merit/post average being lower than many English boards.

Without local boards, they can discuss well in English, in international boards so to be honest, in most of cases, local boards are used not because of limitations in English.
This forum would be way less active if there are no local boards so I think that they are great addition. What you obviously fail to understand is that is perfectly normal for people to be more relaxed communicating in their own language, even if they are fluent in English. To be honest, its kinda weird hearing this from you...somehow I thought that you are proponent of local boards.

I can bet that the average quality of posts that received merit would be lower than merited English posts.
Again generalization. While it's true that some local boards have more merit sources and its easier to get merit, same goes for English speaking boards.

Chinese aren't included
Rikafip explained the reason for that several times. During most months, more posts get deleted in the Chinese board than new ones are written. That results in a negative post count at the end. Looking at previous months, the last (and maybe only time) it was included was in March 2021. It would look silly to have look at the charts and see a local community who has written -27 posts, for example.
Yep, that was situation up until now and the reason why Chinese board was mostly left out of charts. But since I started using ninjastic.space for Russian board, it is logical to expand it for others too so Chinese will most likely be included in the next month's overview.

In the Croatian section for more than 3 years we have a topic where local members can report their quality posts and get merits.
You can see topic here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/zbirni-topic-za-davanje-merita-za-kvalitetne-postove-i-za-korisne-informacije-4265795
Submitted posts can be in both Croatian and English and I would not agree that the posts awarded with merits were of lower quality than those written in the English part of the forum.
This topic has actually helped members of the local community not to miss the quality posts of other members and that all such quality posts can be rewarded with merits.
The same situation exists with the thread I've moderated so far [HELP]Bantuan untuk menaikkan Rank (Newbie s.d Hero) V.2 [UPDATE]. The purpose of the topic is to help users get merit for their quality posts if the post doesn't get enough merit but not for users who already have a Legendary rank. In many cases maybe not all submitted posts will get added merit as I and some Local contributors will review the post and if all submitted posts are not quality or low quality then most likely the merit is not worth them. It's just that all posts submitted must be in the local language.

The situation is the same with merit, I will not go into details, but it is much easier for Russian-speaking beginners to advance in rank than beginners who speak English or any other language.

Ninjastic.space data shows that a total of 40 posts were made in the Chinese local board during August 2021. I am not sure how many of the posts have since been deleted.
Most of the posts are updates on ANN topics, and I don't think there is much real discussion there.

Obviously we have all seen Ratimov around, but I have no idea who D-oN_ is (2nd on the list in terms of activity). Looking at the first 5 pages from his post history, all his posts were made in the Russian boards.

It's the same thing with the 3rd most active Russian - The0ldl_lser. Not a single post in English in the first 5 pages of his post history.
Azrieli has a few posts in English, but the majority of his writing also takes place in the local sub.

I bet there are many Russians who don't even speak English or write in the English boards, but they are very active on Bitcointalk and get plenty of merits in the local board alone.
You are absolutely right, there are many Russian-speaking users who rarely leave the local section, but I think this is the paradox of all local sections. But the most interesting thing is that the Russian section would be much more active if there was not such a mess as it is now. Against this background, many people lose all desire to visit the Russian section, so many Russian-speaking users live outside their language section. The situation is the same with merit, I will not go into details, but it is much easier for Russian-speaking beginners to advance in rank than beginners who speak English or any other language.

The view provided by @Rikafip gives senders and receivers per month. The following is a quicker access to the data (prefiltered):
https://public.tableau.com/shared/5M7395TND?:display_count=n&:origin=viz_share_link

Now if what you are after overall aggregate data for the Indonesian local board (up until last friday), it is as follows:

nTX: 15.141
nMerits: 26.670
nDistinctSenders: 1.542
nDistinctReceivers: 1.423

I looked up the above on my DB, as the Dashboard breaks it down by month.

You mean something like this, merit senders and receivers per month?
No, That is not what I mean. I want to know the total number of merit receivers and senders in the Indonesian Local Board since January 24, 2018 until this mounth. But I've been going through all of them in merit dashboard one by one and there doesn't seem to be any. But it may not be important because the data shows that every year from 2018 to 2021 the number of receivers, the number of senders, and the number of meirs distributed on the Indonesian Local Board seems to decrease based on the image I posted earlier. If this continues, maybe in the next 1-2 years the sender and receivers of the merit will no longer be on the Indonesian Local Board, I hope that doesn't happen. But I don't know, I think we really have to move forward to do our best there.

Or if you want total amount of merit senders and receivers, this is one of the ways to see it. List is much longer, you just have to scroll it down. Looking at it, there have been 1542 merit senders and 1423 merit receivers on your board since January 24th 2018 up until now, or more precisely September 24th.

Thanks, but there's nothing wrong with asking permission because I just wanted to show respect for the work you do. Only that. ;v

Rikafip, can you please tell me how I can find out the number of users who have been involved in this merit system from either the senders or the receivers of the merit in a particular local board. For example, I want to know how many merit senders and receivers have been in the Local Board Indonesian since January 24, 2018 until now. The occasional mention of Bitcointalk in Croatian forums about technology, IT, and stuff like that could maybe get some new people interested.
I tried that, to no avail. Thinking if it, I talked to every single person I know IRL (that is into crypto) about bitcointalk and responses I got were from "bitcointalk is one big signature campaign circlejerk and echo chamber" (that's coming from veterans) to "what can I find on bitcointalk that I can't find someplace else" (mostly coming from new people). Neither is true, but that's how they perceive bitcointalk.

That's one of the advantages of big boards like Russian, German and Turkish; they are practically self-sufficient and members can find everything inside their own board. So even if they know English to some degree, majority of them will just rather stay there.

There are a lot of other reasons and different situations why we don't have more members on the forum.
Some of my friends prefer Telegram or social networks, some have a problem with English and some of my friends have dropped out of this forum due to evil fee.
I'm sorry for this last reason because we could have more  members at the Croatian local.

This is so sad he’s one of the top TV journalist in Pakistan with 4.4m Twitter followers.

They don’t do any R&D by themselves just Google and read whatever crap available online on the first page and start giving suggestions to governments.

These so called journalists behave like they are experts of every thing whatever the hot topic on circulation. During pandemic they were experts of Corona Virus and vaccination then when recent Afghanistan was in news they were war experts of Taliban and think tanks or policy makers of Afghanistan. Now this Chinese FUD and they are cashing in with their financial advices… Tongue…!!!
