Yeah i think this also, it's easy to cheat in chess game, so If your not professional player in chess it's better to stay away in that. But if your pro you can match those people who use bot to win the game.
How do we know that the OP is not going to do exactly the same? On the other hand, someone like Vladimir Kramnik or Vishy Anand could easily make fools of these bots and people behind them, if he ever wanted to, of course.
There was a whole movie about using this tactics, long before computers got widespread. The plot was built around some trickster who separately challenged two chess champions which hated each other. They agreed to play against him as well as lose substantially more than win since they innocently believed they could easily smash to pieces their insolent opponent. While in fact they turned out to be playing against each other. I don't remember the movie title though. Anyone know?

That trickster got in jail in the end, though, and had to play chess against his cellmates and guards, evidently without much success.
