Excuse me, but how do you get 35mh on a rx 470?

I have rx 480 and I turn to 31.

I think there is something wrong with Ethereum and Claymore's miner...

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS ONLY MY CONSPIRACY THEORY, AND I COULD BE WRONG!

1. What if Claymore is a programmer from Ethereum team?
- He or they can create the most efficient Ethereum miner closed-source software.

2. What if he or they hide the real hash rate and get more than 1% developer fee?
- I have proof of this, one of my cheapest Sapphire RX 470 4GB (from Overclockers UK - £150 on Black Friday) has 35.15MH/s and NO REJECTED SHARES!

Using the same server with the same cards  I should get 27.75MH/s on every card, but on one I get 35.15MH/s (working for 43 hours!)
If this is true, one person or group can receive not 1% but 21% of our Ethereum AND THIS IS FRAUD ON A GLOBAL SCALE!!!

My screenshot, I can upload a video on YouTube...

More coming soon on my website www.FirstEver.eu and my Youtube channel...

What are the best "bang for the buck" GPU's for ETH mining nowadays?

That will be the AMD RX series like the 470 and 480. The nVidia 1070 is also efficient, but it is too expensive.

HI monsanto!!

i don't try to reduce the intensity of mining.... yet.

It's not a concrete GPU that hangs ... or a concrete PCIe slot ...or with one riser.... only occurs when I put 6 gpu on a rig.
With 5 slots used, no problem.

Maybe I can edit reboot.bash to restart "./ethdcrminer64" instead of reboot whole rig "r" , but I think this is risky because maybe a reboot is good and only restarts claymore....  Sad
Now I'm using nicehash pool ... don't send mails, I think you're talking about ehermine (¿?)

Thnaks!

Hey thanks! I didn't think of the sendmail thing before and had to rely on the pool.  Then I saw you mention it and so I just spent way longer than I should have figuring out how to get ubuntu to email me when it restarts each time. It works! Pretty cool.  I think now I will try to add an email alert to the reboot file as well.  So soon I will have auto restart, plus email alerts.. and for the times when it sometimes completely hangs up and isn't even rebooting, I'll add a 24 hour timer that will cut the power even to the PSU each day for a few seconds. So the rig will basically be unstoppable unless it catches fire Grin.  Completely automated until it breaks.

Can't really help with that ethOS thing. never used it. I'm sure they have services for alerting people to downed websites though, so you could just direct one of those at your rigs IP maybe?  Something like free services here https://www.google.com/search?q=email+me+if+my+website+goes+down

Also I would reconsider playing with the intensity settings.  That's the only way I got my rig stable and it did not reduce the overall hashrate.  Sometimes lower settings produced higher hashrates.  Maybe start with something like <-ethi 8,8,8,8,8,3> then if that's stable keep raising it.  If not then try some other random combinations. That's what worked for me anyway, although not with 6 gpus.

Hi everyone!

Thanks Madmax !
I'll try but ... for "more juice" you refear that add more power than 12v? (.... 12.02v ...more or less?? )
Is that  posible with any kind of PSU, or should be any in particular??  or it can adjust from some bios??

I have 2x Thermaltake thougpower750w for rig, and no posibility of regulate (I think)

Thanks Monsanto!!
at the moment I use the option <-r 1> and resets the whole system when a gpu hangs... (with 5-11 reboots/day. maybe too many reboots...I have to try give more juice   Wink        ...)

I have some problems with "shutdown now -r" comand, (or combinaions), in my reboot.bash file .... I'm using Claymore over EthOS
All runs fine with only "r" comand.
I would like to add a line before, to send a mail to monitorize when a reset occurs...
but ethOS don't include sendmail libraries...
anybody know how to send a mail on ethOS .... for this event or other events??

thanks!!

I've got <-r 1> working now so my rig reboots when a gpu crashes, then automatically restarts claymore.  Very convenient but mine only has to restart every couple days.  What happens when you use low <-i> on just that one GPU that hangs?

I don't use ethOS but I just have my pool settings to email me if my miner goes down completely for at least fifteen minutes or something.  Of course that wouldn't tell me if it just reboots then restarts though.

Hello everyone

I would like to understand why sometimes my gpu falls at 1% charge?

Ca is just 1 second but several times. I climb the voltage but always the same, I coprend not why.

you have an idea ?

thank you

It takes a lot to build but not much to lose
Claymore please check 7.4
It randomly stops working even if I have multiple pools set up, let me specify:
-It insists that I might be mining a fork (please use -allcoins -1)
-it happens with any pool at random time (it work for hours or days and then just fails...)
-The software watchdog kicks in but it does not work... All I get is 0 MHS for any card

You mine on "ethash-hub.miningpoolhub.com" so pool selects what coin to mine and can change it at any time.
May be you should set "-allpools 1" as miner requires? If you already uses this option, send me the full log.

I agree with Claymore here.

17xxx ports on miningpoolhub are autoswitches so it will try to mine ETH/ETC/EXP whatever is profitable

Check this post for correct configurations
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.17032031

if you dont pul -allcoins 1 whenever it switches from ETH to EXP or ETC it kills itself.

Does anyone know commandline way to restore all default settings in Wattman?

I am looking for
1) REset all clocks and voltages and fan profiles etc
2) Clear Shredder cache
3) No so much reset graphics settings as crossfire etc

I think it will greatly help if we clear profile of one coin mining before switching to the other coin.

@Claymore

Can you please add Reset all settings to default for all gfx cards at the end of the execution?

I mean , sequence should go like this
1_   some combination of keys that stops mining.
2_   Resets all the cards to default configuration
3_   closing app

It would avoid residual wrong settings somehow being stuck in gfx card especially when OCed and BSOD or rebooting (my error was VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE)

Hello everyone ,

I wanted to put in the claymore command "r" to automatically reboot the miner every 8h.

So I put this command -r 480.

It works but the name of the worker in my pool disappears ...

Where to put -r 480?

Here is what I put:

setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0
setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100

Is it good or should we put it after the worker? like this ?

EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool eu1.ethermine.org:4444 -ewal 0xB4084790ba9E1826a2A07E2a5B6CCEDF58c2fdE1.rig1 -r 480

Thank you in advance for your assistance

I believe the general format is dash, "-", then the flag and option (what I call them).  I just mean I think you can put "-r 480" anywhere in the command line as long as it is not between another flag and option: "-(flag) (option)"

Hello
this is the first time i will use claymore miner, but i can't make it work.

i'm using miningpoolhub that requires user.worker mode instead of wallet address, but no matter what i do, miner still complain of the missing wallet address, but i don't have one!, i don't need one  Sad

any idea of what i am doing wrong?
thanks!
indkt.

Here is my working code

EthDcrMiner64.exe
 -epool us-east.ethash-hub.miningpoolhub.com:20535
 -ewal Username.worker
 -eworker Username.worker
 -esm 2
 -epsw x
 -allpools 1
 -allcoins 1
 -mode 1
 -r 1
 -wd 1
 -dbg 1

Good luck
