Has anyone managed to mine on coinmine.pl with qtminer mode? Here is my .bat file
Code:
EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool eth.coinmine.pl:4001 -ewal Login -eworker Login.worker -epsw 1 -mode 1 -esm 1 -allpools 1
I also tried different combinations with -ewal and -eworker, but no avail.

Hello Claymore. i Have one rig with 2x380 and 1x290x
the 2 380 gives me different speed. why?
gpu0 380(20mh)
gpu1 380(18.9mh)
gpu2 290x (28.5mh)
the 2 cards are totally identical.
no matter that i am running on ether mode only or dual mining, with every version of your miner tried.

my 390s rig does not show in suprnova for a while now..only DCR hashes in the miner are there... no "DCR share found" or DCR share accepted"

while the 280x rig is okay.

PM me zipped log file please.

will mine for about 30mins again in dual..and send you the a fresh log..(because i switched to ETH only, got lost in a lot of log files)

off topic:

you might want to take a peek at equihash POW

you can't be late for this  Wink

@Claymore, Is it suppose to be better on R9 380 (tonga) cards?

48 hours of testing on equal rigs and the original miner and yours are making pretty much the same result.

Right not after 10 hours of the new version vs original qtminer:

Ballance: 0.4717089107482806 vs 0.4826856692655387

miners changed lead several time but the biggest lead was around 0.01 Ether

-cclock and -mclock are not working for me too.
So there is no point of using this miner in ETH only mode, also power consumption is a little higher.

But I noticed that rigs with 270x did not stop mining when DAG changed , with other miners it always stop and I have to manually restart miner. It could be a big plus if it works. I will see if it stops on next DAG change.

ethminer--cointron-- 15mh\s

claymore--11mh\s  why? (R7 370)

same 4x r7 370
qtminer : 60mh/s
claymore : 55mh/s

R7 370 or similar cards are lower in speed compared to qtminer or Ethminer. 280x or higher are faster.

I have 50% rejects on DCR stratum (Nano + 295x2)

after running v2 for whole day...
I noticed my GPU temp shot up to the normal mid-70s to 95c!
is this normal?

check your GPU thermal paste and GPU fan for problems..mining DCR adds more to GPU core temps..thermal paste tends to dry faster under this situation.

my temps didn't change much here

watching my rig mining in dual mode..it seems that DCR shares are getting fewer, almost none in my other rig (only at the beginning of mining DCR shares appeared)...watching in suprnova dashboard my rig with almost no DCR share (with shares at the beginning of mining) is gone (not submitting shares)

it seems my 5870 ~800Mhs solo mining with sgminer is outperforming the DCR dual mode that generates 1300 to 1700 Mhs for DCR mining.

the rig with 3x r9 390 and 1 390x stopped submitting shares while the rig with 4x 280x is okay i think..

that's why I asked about dual mining earlier with coinotron (ETH) and suprnova (DCR).. the rig with 390s have hashes but not submitting shares

EDIT: my rig with 390s with ~1700 Mhs submitted shares shows up on suprnova with 7300 Mhs after being gone for a while...will observe more for a longer period of time...

Claymore, I'm a little curious as to how the developer fee is applied in a rig with multiple cards with some GPUs restricted to mining Ethereum only and was wondering if they were taxed 2% just like those mining Ethereum as well as Decred.

Thanks!

from OP
Quote
This miner is free-to-use, however, current developer fee is 1% for Ethereum-only mining mode (-mode 1) and 2% for Ethereum+Decred mining mode (-mode 0), every hour the miner mines for 36 or 72 seconds for developer.
Decred is mined without developer fee.
If you don't agree with the dev fee - don't use this miner.

@arielbit    Yes, Dual stratum:
Code:
EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool coinotron.com:3344 -ewal user.worker -esm 2 -epsw x -dpool stratum+tcp://dcr.suprnova.cc:2252 -dwal user.worker -dpsw x -allpools 1

thanks...

played with the syntax earlier..it run but the DCR hashes didn't show on suprnova...

will continue testing here.

EDIT: WORKS!  Cheesy

Too bad the price for DCR is going down and the difficulty is going up. Difficulty almost 50% gain in 1 week for DCR.

Ran v2 for 4-5 hours, rig 4 x R9-390 (stock settings), AMD 8-core CPU, 16GB RAM

Run command: "EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool asia1.ethermine.org:4444 -ewal 0x... -epsw x -dpool stratum+tcp://mine.zpool.ca:5744 -dwal 1... -dpsw c=BTC,decred"

POOL: ethermine.org
ETH - Total Speed: 117.066 Mh/s, Total Shares: 534, Rejected: 0, Time: 05:16
ETH: GPU0 29.388 Mh/s, GPU1 29.162 Mh/s, GPU2 29.239 Mh/s, GPU3 29.277 Mh/s

POOL: zpool.ca
DCR - Total Speed: 1755.988 Mh/s, Total Shares: 892, Rejected: 76
DCR: GPU0 440.823 Mh/s, GPU1 437.435 Mh/s, GPU2 438.581 Mh/s, GPU3 439.149 Mh/s

Summary:
Compared to previous config. running qtminer (ETH) and sgminer (DCR) in parallel.
1. ETH: averages 59-61Mhs total. DCR: 3.1 Gh/s
2. v2 delivers 2x more hashing so this is interesting and good.
3. However, in ethermine worker dashboard, hash info is consistent but no shares and invalid shares reported.
3b. Shares seems to be registered (unconfirmed) but the dashboard doesnt show it at all.
3c. Is my syntax used above correct? I have used plain vanilla settings without switches.
4. DCR: averages 1.756 Gh/s which is lower than sgminer's 3.1 Gh/s @ diff level 12
5. Reject rate is also quite high at 8.5% compared to sgminer 1.7%
6. During the run, 2 cpuminer instance were mining argon2 and yescrypt. They are using at least 4 threads each. I dont think this will impact v2 run since they dont touch the GPUs and vRAM.
