Now the money is free, and so the people will be
Thanks for the answer guys, yeah DCR and ETH is a good match.  I'm just holding all my DCR. When I get enough i'll buy tokens and start the POS.  anybody know how much they cost ?  I havent d/l the client yet.

There is obviously issues with nanopool. I tried it for 24h and it wasn't stable at all. sometimes nothing during 10minutes with 21MH/s. I switched back to ethminer and it is way more stable and I have more shares in average.

Hello!  How can I run it on coinotron.com?
I think it doesn't work on coinotron.

Claymore
Please add failover option. for eg. it would be userful on dwarfpool.

Claymore's Dual Ethereum+Decred AMD GPU Miner.
=========================
....
Haven't try it yet, because my Sapphire R9 270X 2G cards can't mine with 15.12 driver, even environment variables doesn't help. But, anyway you are clever than Obama, you are a wunderkind, you are Vitalik Buterin 2.0. Good job!

two points are very similar to quantum physics:
1) one coin is able to accelerate another - DCR accelerates the ETH
2) during the monitoring computer of rejections in times more than without monitoring

a lot of DCR rejects with command
Code:
EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool eth-ru.dwarfpool.com:8008 -ewal eth.wallet -epsw x -eworker workername1 -dpool http://dcr.suprnova.cc:9111 -dwal login.workername -dpsw 1111

Code:

DCR - Total Speed: 199.542 Mh/s, Total Shares: 120, Rejected: 20
DCR: GPU0 199.542 Mh/s

what's wrong?

I switched back to the regular miner since the difficulty rose and price fell a little for DCR. The profits are 30% less now then a few days ago for DCR.

I would be nice to have a X11 + ETH miner.

Which regular miner? Do you mean the Ethminer or the Genoil miner?

I'm a little curious as to how the developer fee is applied in a rig with multiple cards with some GPUs restricted to mining Ethereum only and was wondering if they were taxed 2% just like those mining Ethereum as well as Decred.

Probably.  Could always run 2 instances if you're using different modes.

Stahp making me wait to give you 2% of all my hashes! Oh wait, I already am.

Getting much lower DCR rejects (and it looks like the exact same eth hashrate) with -ethi 8 . Went from 15-25% rejects with -ethi 16 to ~5% with -ethi 8.
what pool and port you mine? I have only 5% bad shares with coinmine 2032 on default settings

Tested with Nanopool - works fine.
Good job, Claymore!

90% likely Decred will be less than worthless within 7-10 days if not sooner. The market was already very small for it and now we are increasing the supply for sale dramatically while not bringing new buyers, and exponentially making it beyond reasonably difficult to mine for those who were in that community before we arrived. If it can recover after we stop mining it due to being less valuable than the devfee and lost eth hash it costs us to get, then the extreme low prices coming to it over the next week will look like the golden age to the original Decred folks.  Until we start mining it again after the recovery..

That makes absolutely no sense... total mining output is a fixed value, doesn't matter if more people start mining.

Yeah, some people don't know how mining works. Mining is a pie. Your slice is equivalent to your hashrate. You don't magic coins out of thin air by having more hash on a network... Just means your slice is smaller... which is why it looks like Dcr is falling out.

It does make sense. While the output is fixed at x coins per day, it was mostly being mined by people who believed in the coin and held by them before this miner came out as mining eth was more profitable for the hordes. Now, a large (I'm assuming) percentage of the output is going straight to the exchanges to be dumped for a bit of extra profit, effectively killing the DCR market.

Coin was already on a downhill trend.

Why Decred Claymore ?  Just asking.  I actually like the coin too, buy tokens, get POS, etc.
Probably because it's very processing intensive but not memory intensive.  Good combo with Ethash.

I like decred as well, and think it has a fair bit of potential.

Yep, it isn't magic, and I doubt Claymore (or anyone) can just whip up a simultaneous dual algo miner with just any algo. Eth processing is limited by memory, leaving the GPU under utilized. DCR barely uses VRAM, so it doesn't affect ETH mining and can use the unused GPU power left over by ETH.

So, forget about dual mining ETH and X11 and be happy with what you have.  Roll Eyes
