I tried dual mining ether and xdna but xdna gives tons of rejected shares. This is on Nvidia cards and I can't figure it out. Any commands I can try? I've tried changing difficulty and that did nothing.
Fixed it, had to update the miner

Could someone point to a script for Windows that will query the IP and mgmt port of Claymore and return the quantity of GPUs?

I have a handful of rigs that drop a GPU after some period of mining.  With other type of crashes that occur, I have a scripted restart of the miner alone.   The only time I want to reboot the rig is if a GPU fails to be recognizes after a miner restart.

I need a little help here, I ahve some new MSI armor
they all have 8GB mem, from the GPUz is Micron mem

the stock frequencies are 1268 / 1750

I am trying to run this on 1150/2005 or 2010 but is crashing, the wattman thing is coming out andblock the PC
if I am going on lower levels to keep stzable, I cant get more than 27,5 mhs

what should I do?  Sad

which GPU model?

RX 570, 580?

1070? 1080?

What timings are you using?  27.5 is okayish, but at mclock 2000 you should be closer to 29.5 or 30.

I forgot to tell that ther are not bios modded, I a using the compute mode on adrenaline 18.5.2
now I am testing 1155/2135, Im getiing out 28,5
Will do some omre tests with other clock combination

Yeah those numbers are quite acceptable for a non-biosmod.

For the US ethermine server you need to use the us1 for the east coast or us2 server for the west coast, whichever is closer AND the ssl stratum port 5555.

-epool stratum+ssl://us1.ethermine.org:5555

or

-epool stratum+ssl://us2.ethermine.org:5555

Everything else is the same.

Out of curiosity, what kind of hash rates are you getting with those settings?

Oh, I forgot to mention the problem why I decided to ask for help. My hashrate is about 180mh on each rig. But my effective hash on pool 160-170mh. That's my problem with that. And it's not overclocking, I see that the hour of cards in rig always gets more shares per hour than some other cards. I have already perfectly adjusted the frequency of all cards, but the loss of 7-10% hasrate does not go away.

How many shares per hour do you give an average of one rig per 180Mh? I have on good rig 160 but mostly 140.

If you use the ssl stratum on ethermine you will have much fewer stale shares and therefore a higher effective hash rate.

-epool stratum+ssl://eu1.ethermine.org:5555

tried to add stratum+ssl:// to my us1 server address (where I point to ethermine network) and it didn't work. is this only for eu1 server? Also aren't peeps having issues with ssl for 11.X ?

Any idea how to prevent this?

Remove "-minspeed" option

I'm surprised you can sleep well at night with GPUS at those temperatures.

Yeah this is what happens when summer hits.  I will probably switch over to monero soon, and use the power savings to add another 1080Ti.  Would only be slightly less profitable.

Don't expect much more from it.

I have several 570's ranging from 26,5 to 28,5Mhs.

I haven't seen more then 28.5 in any 570 to date, so yours is totaly normal performance wise.

I can confirm this. Those are good speeds for an RX 570. No reason to try and push it any further. You will use more power and possibly damager your card. It is best to find the sweet spot between power, hash rate and not reducing the life of the card too much.

Claymore
Users are still reporting random crashes in -esm 3 mode.

This may happen in 2-3 hours hours, few days or even not happen at all.
Typical description looks like "I've connected my farm there, and got my Claymore's miner crashed few hours later. So I switched to another pool".
There is no such problem with -esm 1 mode, as well as no issues with another software running in EthereumStratum mode. Ethminer is rock stable, for example... Though, on the other hand, it has some hardware compatibility issues.

Any log files or any way how to reproduce it? You already mentioned this issue in past, I checked sources and did some tests but could not find any problems related to "-esm 3" mode.

Hi Claymore,

Do you know why this is happening, Im using two exactly the same Asus 1070ti Cards:

ETH: 06/29/18-10:14:54 - New job from eth-eu1.nanopool.org:9999
ETH - Total Speed: 59.447 Mh/s, Total Shares: 1, Rejected: 0, Time: 00:00

ETH: GPU0 26.399 Mh/s, GPU1 32.985 Mh/s

Hash on first card is much lower and not stable?

It has been a while since Claymore 11.8 is just a pity that this version often has snags hopefully the next generation better, but be happy other software developers do not stay silent there is a new kind of Miner software on the market happy FiNMINER, with 1% devfee works perfectly and no (only config-change and go) settings and super easy and freaks do not stay silent there is already versions with devfee disabled, try and comport people success.

Could it, for example, mine EXP devfee, like it used to do in v10.6? Or predict/handle the reallocation failure somehow?

Passing -allcoins -1 or -allcoins epoch works, but the first one annoyingly delays first hashrate results for the user, and supplying the epoch number is tricky. Also, I'm now sure how to avoid breaking things for users that don't need it.

Have you tried -allcoins exp ?

I use ehtermine also, It's normal for your hashrate at the pool to differ from your reported hashrate.  It'll take at lease 6 hours for your effective hashrate to stabilize.  I don't have an explanation as to why, but it's also normal that some cards find more shares than others.

1. How to set up ASM correctly? I have all AMD RX 570 RX 580 4GB cards, Eth only, Ethermine pool (is this the best pool for Eth?). Anyone uses ASM 2 for such cards? And about dcri.  How best to prescribe fixed or in auto mode?

Can't speak to ASM, no experience.

2. I use ssl Ethermine pool. Does SSL slow down the encryption process (more stale shares example )

It's been my (limited) experience that SSL reduces stales, and improves stability.

3. My config for Rx 570 580 4gb
EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool ssl://eu1.ethermine.org:5555 -ewal 0x1  -epsw x -cclock 1150 -cvddc 850,850,850,850,850,850 -mclock 2040,2050,2040,2050,2040,2040 -mvddc 850,850,850,850,850,850
Can you recommend what to add to it for stability and more efficiency.

You might want to add a secondary pool url just in case.

I'm still learning about AMD cards myself, but the best advice I've gotten is to keep tweaking the settings for each card until you get the best results.  I've been using config files to store my settings and keep .bat somewhat neat.  That way I can copy my best config, futz with the settings, and revert back to my original config if I screw something up.

Out of curiosity, what kind of hash rates are you getting with those settings?
