pre v11, im never getting any incorrect shares dual mining

now, even with 11.4, im getting incorrect shares. i even downclocked mem, increase voltage and fan speeds to no avail, like so noticeable that my hashrate decreased a lot from downclocking. although im not getting any memory errors in hwinfo.

whats up with v11s?

I am moving to Phoenix too, dual mining becomes unprofitable, miner is unstable, devfee is huge for Claymore.

yeah, i know 11.2 and above is about fixing cheating programs because of ssl integration. but lots of others are affected especially stability. im getting random incorrect shares now within 24hrs. i never had my rigs run more than 24hrs due to this incorrect shares, because whenever i get incorrect shares i downclock mem, after that, i still get incorrect shares with random gpus and so on. cant keep mining for more than 24hrs due to this problem. i wanted to ignore it, but the rule is, incorrect/invalid/stales/rejected are wasted hashing power.

Success here too, however all is not well just yet.

First, thanks for the stale shares fix on Ethermine, and the 1.5% improvement on hashrate.. We went from 4% to 1% stale shares and 5540 to 5625 MH/s (191 GPUs).

However, every hour (dev fee) there seems to be an issue where random rigs stop mining. Prior to 11.x I had roughly 10-12 days without downtime. This was still happening after upgrading to 11.4. Someone in ethOS chat mentioned that this is related to the new SSL stratum connection. After reverting to the old non-SSL port, the issue went away. So, if anyone is experiencing random mining stoppage, I would suggest you do the same.

Working great now! But, we need a reliable SSL connection. This was a great idea, and I look forward to being able to use it reliably in the future.

Here's a question:
If my biggest and main problem with mining is heat, whats the best way to lower the heat from GPUs?
Should I use lower clocks, is there a command line which tells the miner to mine slower/less intense...?
I'm willing to sacrifice the hash speed for lower temps.
Thanks!

Guys, I´d really appreciate an advice. I run several 6*rx470/480 rigs. Suddenly out of nowhere Claymore miner refused to start, it says:

I tried different drivers, claymore versions (currently using V11.0), installed a HDMI plug on that card, reset OC to default settings. When I disable GPU0 from "device manager", miner starts working without any problems... so only disabling helps. And that´s on 4 out of 6 rigs. Any clues/ideas? Thanks a lot and sorry for such a long message.

Is that on one of your rigs or on all of them? have you tried swapping cards to see if it is a faulty card? I would say it is the card because I had a similar effect. For me one card was overclocked/undervolted too much and stalled and as a consequence the watchdog jumped in and restarted the miner...

Since an update to 11.3 only one rig can't create the dag file. - open cl error -48

There are RX480 8gb.

So i test the Version 11.2 again and all works fine.

What can it be?

love the program and have used it for a months.. why you gotta package it in a way that everything thinks its a virus lol

i download it from mega, chrome says no... cant download from google cause they say no, finally download with microsoft edge, windows says no instead, finally add rule to protection to skip folder.. IT works Smiley yay

You can dload from Google. Just right click it and copy to your drive (Google). Then it let's you dload if you make a copy of that on your drive. You still have to stop windows deleting it though.

Or use Linux instead of Windows!  Tongue

Changes made in v11.4 are related only to AMDs or to NVIDIAs too? I am asking because my Nvidia rigs can run without crashed only on v10.6 version. v11 above is a tragedy for Nvidias Sad

For me too. I have tried to use any 11.x version, but all of them have strange hashrate. It is less then in 10.6. So I rolled back again to 10.6 (

It is running stable and with good hash rate at my Nvidia rig (6x). Linux here.

I need a little help guys. I have one AMD card (will be adding more) to my 7 card Nidvia rig. I only want to use Claymore for the AMD card. This is my bat file, but it's still running all the cards. Can someone tell me what I need to do to tweak it?

setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0
setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100

-di 0

EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool us1.ethermine.org:14444 -ewal 0xfe943a6dabf68375754d07044812f76a0dd01d64 -epsw x

Insert -di 0 into config.txt

Seems to have done it. Thanks again.

Yeah, it's still reading all cards. I don't get  it.

Try this:

setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0
setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100

EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool us1.ethermine.org:14444 -ewal 0xfe943a6dabf68375754d07044812f76a0dd01d64 -epsw x -di 0

CONFIGURATION FILE

You can use "config.txt" file instead of specifying options in command line.
If there are not any command line options, miner will check "config.txt" file for options.
If there is only one option in the command line, it must be configuration file name.
If there are two or more options in the command line, miner will take all options from the command line, not from configuration file.

This was a great idea, and I look forward to being able to use it reliably in the future.

use ssl://eu1.ethermine.org:5555 for example.Reliable SSL server

If you're using 11.3 or 11.4 the devfee connection still goes to the secure ssl port 5555, even though you may have set it up to use the non secure
port 4444 connection for mining. That's what I see in the logs. Changing to the 4444 port should not help anyone's situation as far as I can tell if
you're using .3 or .4 versions. If I'm wrong please let me know.

any feedback for stale shares? and what about incorrect shares?
Zero incorrects for 16 hours, 1% stale shares, sometimes 2% and sometimes 0%.

Are you single mining or dual mining? I get incorrects on dual mining, like 4% in 18 hours while no incorrects in single mining...

Single mining.
