Hello,
Quick feedback, i was using Claymore v9.6 with two 6x RX460 rigs. By simply changing to version v9.8 i got a 2-2.5% speed increase. No issues with stability.
I'm happy Smiley

Beta driver + Beta AB + Claymore 9.8 + clean Windows 10 Home x64 installation

= only -96mv and +30-40W per card for 2mh/s.
Indeed, but again can get stable 30.5MH/s. I can accept more power usage (have it for free  Grin). BUT I preffer mining with SMOS (less power consumption, easy to use, nice dashboard). Unfortunately, there is no Linux AMD driver with DAG fixed yet.

Why you have power usage for free? made by parents? Cheesy

I have the same....40W more and like 1,5mh/s more....that is really not good, also the clay 9.8 not support Rx580....I think so...!

i have 5 x RX580 Nitro + Cards (Hynix)

I ahve updated to beta driver and Claymore 9.8 like others i cant control voltages in claymore nor latest AfterBurner but i can in trixx. Im actually settings clocks in voltages and fans in trixx and im running stable at 30 Mhs dual mining eth and SIA using around 100w per card in GPUz

Yeaahhh....Ridiculous achievement after all this time waiting for resolution. Beta...Beta...Beta.... we should pay with beta money buying this cards.  Lovely jobly but for developers only

Anyone use R9 290/290x/390/390x have tasted new driver from AMD ? Please show the hashrate with this new driver ?
These cards are not affected by hashrate drop so there is no need to update driver
There will be no change in hashrate on these cards

I beleive you still hash in 30Mh range

Ok TY for the info ....

Try with Afterburner 4.4.0 Beta 16

AB 4.4.0 Beta 16 either crashes my rig or messes things up... I'd rather have stable rigs with a bit of fluctuations in the voltages than have an unstable rig. But that's just me  Grin
In my case Afterburner 4.4.0 Beta 16 is working like a charm.

Beta driver + Beta AB + Beta miner = ?

In my case I tried on win7 r290.....dropped by 3-4 MHs...

didn't bother tweaking anything just reverted to previous drivers and back to 30MHs

On the official MSI website, the latest version is Beta 12, that confused me.
You should check here...

I have the EXACT SAME problems...

Afterburner 4.4.0 Beta 12
AMD Beta Blockchain driver
RX480 cards
Windows 10 Pro (latest update).

Using driver 16.9.2 works without any problem.
Volt -70
Power +20
Core 1040
Memory 1885
Getting around 25.5 MH.s

Try with Afterburner 4.4.0 Beta 16

i run the new beta driver and new beta after burner everthing is fine .. i have only one proplem with one card the voltage is hight and i dnt know why
i tryed to down voltage with claymore 9.8 it works but the hashrate drop to 14 mh

i have 3 rx 580
Claymore 9.8 does not support undervolting for RX 5xx cards.

-cclock 1110,1200,1200 -mclock 2030,2150,2150 -cvddc 1000,930,900 -tt 85,85,85 -fanmin 58,32,32

this was my settings in claymore 9.7 and 9.8 before the new beta driver and was working and the core power in hwinfo and gpuz was under 90W

Stability report:

Claymore 9.8, running on Win10 + AMD Blockchain drivers (patched) + RX480 with modded BIOS

Two rigs working 10 hours with no problems apart from the aforementioned voltage settings.

Not that bad...
