Could you please share your knowledge. I would like to know how to configure remote notifications and watchdogs on my rigs.

What notifications do you need?

The main one is to know when mining stops, the secondary is when the hash rate decreases.

I am getting a DAG error. I have 6gb of ram and two cards of 2gb. Here is the log file https://pastebin.com/fkdDWPzQ. If someone helps me mine ethereum, I will gladly tip him in btc.

You cant mine ether with 2GB cards anymore, the dag file itself is larger than that..

AFAIK Musicoin is the only Ethash you can mine with a 2GB card at this point (Not sure of UBQ's DAG size...)

Its still profitable as well... check the Pools page for info.

Anyone managed to get 4xx and 5xx running on same rig?
Man I think I tried about everything now.

I got 2x 470 (modded)
2x 480 (modded)
1 570 (modded)

With the Crimson 16.x.x drivers I can easily get my 470's and 480's but the darn 580 just shows as standard VGA.

I even tried the latest greatest 17.something driver and that was a mess lol. It showed all 5 cards but never would actually load the drivers correctly..

Grrr gotta be a way lol....

Yes. I have mixed rig with 480 and 570. Simply use latest AMD driver, patch it and start mining Smiley
Could you explain or link to the patch please? I think your talking about skipping sig check but i have never done that. Thanks for any help

Uf, I am getting sick of people who dont want to spent their time and search on google, rather spent time of others, who wants to help. Next time I will better not help.

Google for atikmdag-patcher...
I did spend my time googling and found many different ways to try it. I was simply asking how you did it for my benefit and of course any others reading this with same issues. I have used the patcher with the new drivers and now get past the loading drivers part. All 5 cards are now seen but one card is ALWAYS yellow triangle in device manager. I have switched ports, DDU'd and started over, everything I can come up with.
So now I got all 5 cards but one is non-working. So if a 470 is  failed and I change the riser to another port and reboot then a 480 will be failed for example. The other 4 will mine. Anyone else have any suggestions (and yes I am researching for an answer elsewhere) lol

ALWAYS include your rig specs (all of them) and detailed error messages if you want real answers (for instance, what is the device manager error on the device?)

Sounds like a mobo PCIe setting issue, however no one would know for sure without knowing what mobo you're using. My last build had a very specific bios setup (Z170A).

You probably have less then 8 Gb memory. In that case you need to put more ram or extend virtual memory

New to nVidia mining. Any help will be very appreciated Smiley

I am just configuring 2 rigs with 1060 and I cannot get more than 18.8 MH/s on ETH when OCed and not dual mining. How come I am always reading about 22 stock, 25 OCed etc?

What am I doing wrong?

One setup is like this:

4x 1060 3GB, MSI
Win7 pro, 6 GB Ram, some cheap Sempron, 700 W,
this miner (is any other maybe better?), last version drivers.

OC is currently +50 core, +600 mem. If I run them stock, they do only about 15 MH/s

Can you give me your ideas how to push those cards to better hashes?

I am thinking, would Win10 help me? (I tried, but couldnt somehow install nVidia drivers, always got issue with "not for this version of Windows..) Or could Linux help me? (but I dont know if those efficient miners exists for Linux?) Or maybe should I use different miner than this Claymores 9.4 dual?

Thanks Smiley

Well I finally gave up. Skipping sig check allowed new AMD drivers to fully load on 4 of the 5 cards. After numerous tries I could never get the 5th card past error 43 or whatever it was. I pulled the 570 out. Am now building yet another rig and will try again. This time all 570's and again with 5 cards. Fingers crossed...

Hi,

I'm mining with Claymore dual Ethereum miner 9.4 on my rx480+HD7870 rig (Eth only). RX 480 performs 26 Mh/s, but the HD7870 performs only 1.2 Mh/s instead of like 11-13 Mh/s. Any idea what causes that?
When mining Zcash on the same rig with Claymore Zcash miner, both GPUs are working 100%.

Thanks for ideas in advance.

Read about ETH. There is some "DAG"...Or read OP ( first page). Or google "eth mining". Make an effort to understand what are you doing.

Hello guys I'm currently getting 13 Mh/s with my R9 280X. Is this about right for my card? I'm running the 9.2 version if that makes any difference.

Thanks in advance

{This device cannot find enough free resources that it can use. (Code 12)If you want to use this device, you will need to disable one of the other devices on this system.}
It seems to be a problem with the motherboard limitations, or self config ?
https://technet.microsoft.com/fr-fr/library/cc732199(v=ws.10).aspx
either find a bad configuration in the PCI configuration in the BIOS/UEFI...

This thread gives a solution for one similar case:

I finally contacted MSI and here's what they told me:

Ensure you have latest Bios update for your board (If you have not done so already). Please try with clearing the cmos setting on Jbat1 jumper/SW1 Switch or removing the battery on the mb out for 1 minute and put it back in with power off. Turn system back on load optimized default setting in bios cmos, save exit. If you didn’t start out with a clean/fresh load of Window please do so for best result. Also load all updates drivers for board chipset and hardware’s drivers. Finally check power supply, run with at least a 400 watt’s, verify RAM, video card, hard drives and CPU ensure they are not the cause of the issue. Thanks Note: Ensure you have proper cooling for processor and system to eliminate overheating issue.

I popped out the battery and re-installed it to clear the cmos, then set the bios to "optimized default" (I already had the latest bios installed), and re-installed XP.
It worked! I'm VERY happy. (I never cleared the cmos before (intentionally).

Can someone confirm my intuition?
