Hello, i have a rig with 6x rx 480 8gb nitro+, sku 11260-01-20g. When i OC it memory to 2050, after some while miner sends me a message Miner thread hangs, need to restart miner. When it is -36 udervolt, 1250 gpu, 2000 memory it works 24 hours, if i just undervolt it to -78, after 10 hours miner stops working, and i have to connect with teamviewer press S, and it just says miner thread hangs, need to restart miner, it restarts and continue normally. I want to just undervolt a little more then -36, because i dont wont this huge power consumtion

Why i have the same hashrate for ethereum in single mining mode and dual mining mode

From my experience it is a gpu that is 100% hung and prevents the miner from restarting without a power cycle or a gpu reset. I do this automatically in my bat script using DevManView.

A 480 gets what 25 mh/s?
Mine modded ROM gives 29MHs per RX 480 8Gb Nitro+ card
32MHs probably very intense from point of view power consumption and heat?
Actually, no. I can do above 30 with a REAL low undervolt, 33MH/s is about max it goes.
Could share the parameters and consumption?
900W with 5 GPUs, all above or around 30MH/s (one at 33MH/s.)
Can you share bios mod or file settings?
Of course not. Took a while of working with the timings to get them hashing that well.

I take it you use customized RAM timings? I don't think anyone else is getting those speeds just by copying stock 1500 or 1625 or whatever straps into higher ones.

Does AMD still have problems with 6-7 GPUs on one machine? Was it fixed in Windows 8 or Windows 10? Do you still need specially modded drivers?
I am mining with 6 rx 470s on a Biostar B85 motherboard. Windows 10, Nicehash miner (primarily switching between claymore's eth+dcr dual miner and claymore's zcash miner). 16.3 drivers have worked very well for me.

Hello there, i made my first rig, but i have some problems with it. Every 6-7-8 hours it stops working, pool sends me a mail that my rig is not working, i connect through teamviewer and just press S to show what is going on, and miner restarts and continues normally.

Have you tried to raise priority of EthDcrMiner64 to HIGH ?
I did this, but miner stopped again

Can anyone point out a good BIOS for the Red DEvils RX480 8gb 1330. All the ones i test fails.... Boysies, Anoraks... Sennev, everyone of them fails... maybe i dont know how to configure after instaling the bios using watt tool, some one knows?

The maximum number of Rig is 5, I do not know if it still has the problem, in the forum a friend rode with 6 boards, but I use with 5 and everything goes well.

When start mining with an additional rig how do I specify a worker name?
By using -eworker parameter?
-ewal eth wallet address/user.worker/[email protected]By using -eworker parameter?
Example: -ewal 0xb1205673c6c573a92d811169d22684915332b2a5/PC.gpu/[email protected] The email is if you want to be emailed if your rig goes down. Dwarfpool only uses the PC part of the name given in this example, while others might use the user.worker format.
