I have a question about the Linux miner.
I did a fresh install of Lubuntu 16.04 and updated all the packages.
then I installed the 16.50 amdgpu-pro driver from the amd site. everything worked perfectly.
but after a few minutes of mining my 6x rx 480 8gb nitro rig restarts by itself.
I tried this on two rigs, with both 9.3 and 10 versions. One had modded timings (with little effect) and the other one was stock bios. both psus are 1200w, good quality.
What could be the problem ? (don't have this behaviour on windows 10)

Why the hate towards R9 390 Huh

v9.3 ~ 320 H/s
v10  ~ 329 H/s

Same core/mem clocks.
Sticking to v9.3 for now...

Anyone else with r9 390 notice this?

Did you see the roonies on him???
Now i'am nearly at 1 Sol/s per watt! ( At the moment 1440 Sol/s and 1500 Watt from the wall)

That is too much power, i'm with 1850 sol and using only 1200watts

I tried with 15.12. and pasting bin files from Linux version.

Was getting 2000 h/s on Claymore 9.3 with 4x 290x and 2x290, on v10 getting 2005.
Tried with -a 0 1 2 and 3, and max is 2005.

With optiminer getting 2060, so I'm staying on optiminer for now Cheesy.

yeah optiminer is the fastest amd miner at the moment

Already began to reflect the replacement of the card at NVIDIA, took for the experiment were collected one rig 6*1070=2620-2700 sol give me Claymore v 10 really disappointed me. 390 I think AMD will not catch up with NVIDIA
Don't think too much Smiley
He just started testing GCN asm.
Polaris, Tonga, Carrizo, Fiji, Stoney and Topaz have native support for amdgpu driver, expect high speed increase with these series.

6.25 ---> 3.125
v10.0 only decreases hash r9 390 yf 1-2%.who took the decision?

If you want to use Algo option use -a 1 for 390s otherwise disable it with # -a 1,2

really nice speedup for my 2x480
but I'm seeing this

only for GPU0, same OC settings for both cards

1340 - 1040mv, 2100 - 1000mv

I didn't have that problem with 9.3 version, any suggestions?

That's way too much. The sweet spot is 1100-1150mhz core and 0.9V and around 210-220mh.

Just tested with your settings, I'm getting much lower hashrate (about 230-240 per card) and about 15 W less power.  So, back to my settings Smiley

I had 256H/s for my RX 480 8GB now it's at 286H/s, massive improvement for these cards. (It is overclocked to 1370/2250.)

Sapphire OC or? how you clocked memory to 2250? Custom bios or?
