No, now 430 hash for 1070...

See edits. Still isn't worth it...

Further Edit:

Efficiency Setup - at equal power use for comparison without power costs impacting the analysis.
                    Edit:       Edit:
Card   Price   Hash/s   Power (W)   H/$
1070  $400    380        100            0.95
Fury   $260    300        100            1.15

Full Bore Setup
Card   Price   Hash/s   H/$
1070  $400    430      1.075
Fury   $260    350      1.346

The 1070 has a long way to go before it's worth a look.  The entry cost of $400/card is just too steep to overcome without some serious hash.

it's wrong, the 1070 do 380 at 100watt not 330

If you did a little math yourself you'd see at 380 it's still not wrong.  AMD is still ahead of Nvidia in H/$ running efficiently AND running full bore.  Even with the adjusted numbers the 1070 is still 20% less H/$.  AMD dead?? It's still in the LEAD.

Edit: AMD guys are quibbling over 0.5% using ssl and 2%-4% in pool variance.
Nvidia guys are paying a 20% premium just to play the game and screaming victory.  It would be funny if it wasn't so pathetic.

it is because 380 sol is always better than 300 sol at the same wattage, you need 25% more uselesses components with 300 sol to have the same total hash

you must remember than on large scale the less rig you haev that do the job the better

You are right, Amph. Also, real prices are not listed. AMD Fury is much more than a listed prices. Here is the actual price at the same shop in the EU:

On ebay there is some fury at 260 USD:
http://www.ebay.com/sch/Graphics-Video-Cards/27386/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=fury&rt=nc
http://www.ebay.com/itm/SAPPHIRE-NITRO-Radeon-R9-Fury-100379NTOC-SR-4GB-4096-Bit-HBM-TRI-X-OC-UEFI-Vi-/291648915692?hash=item43e7a148ec:g:A8QAAOSwu1VW7qbd
, also on newegg:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202186
btw I never bought or tried fury as I know its consume 300W so I prefer to buy 290 or 290x @ 200USD (used). So i wonder if fury consumes 100W

Funny comparisons..

My nano's are close to 325sol while consuming just over 90watt..

Aint that something  Cool

Hi, dude. I'm curious... What parameters do you use when miner goes to devfee mode? In this mode the miner finds much more shares than it does with my parameters. I'm talking about ZClassic mining.

ZECMINER64 -zpool ssl://zcl.suprnova.cc:4142 -zwal marcelospera.zclassic_frank -zpsw xxxx -i 7

Thanks. I believe you really deserves your devfee for your hard work. Make us rich, please! Cheesy

This just happens because diff is lower when dev mining starts, it's the same speed as when you're mining normally

Sorry I understand now. I start miner from ssh nowadays. I think message is releated with it. Miner manager can't show gpu temp and fan speed when you start it from ssh.

This problem begins with 9.2. Gpu0 always hangs. I tried with default speeds and voltage but nothing changed. Log is full with ''a20   ADL: Cannot find any AMD adapters''  All my 3 rigs have same problem. with 9.0 everything is ok.

"ADL: Cannot find any AMD adapters" is not reason. Also same message must be in v9.0. It must be driver-related problem if ADL library sees no adapters. ADL library is a part of AMD drivers and related to temperature/fan management.

@Claymore I got the same error in my 3 rig ith 9.2. Gpu0 hangs in all rigs. If I disable gpu0 in all rigs everything is stable. This problem doesn't exist in old releases. System asrock h81 btc pro + 6 X rx 470 nitro 8gb + 8 gb ram + ssd + evga 1300 g2 + celeron cpu win 8.1

In a couple of days I'll release an update with a bug fix for Polaris cards, though I'm not sure if it's related to the problem you describe.

Hi!
Claymore v9.2 linux miner how to run windows cygwin terminal?

- added Linux version.

what version of ubuntu should be used?

14.04 for R9 280x / 280 and older HD series (NOT XUbuntu as it updated XOrg to 1.18 which is NOT fglrx compatable) due to AMD not offering support on many or most of those cards past 15.12 Crimson.

16.04 for RX 4xx as those are only supported by AMDGPU PRO drivers that don't work on older Ubuntu versions.

I'd probably go with 16.04 on the R9 3xx series as well to leave room for easy future upgrades.

one question...

for mining ZEC is big difference to have

AMD rx 470 4gb

or

AMD rx 470 8GB ?

thx

It's about the memory SPEED, not the size.

With that said, the 8GB cards seem to mostly if not all use 8000 Mhz (effective) RAM where 4GB cards usuallly have 6600 or 7000.

You might also see this listed as 2000 vs 1750 or 1650 - the raw clock rate vs. the effective.
