Stock GTX 1070 = 360 Sol/s @ 150 W
OC GTX 1070 (clock @ 2050, mem @ 4500) = 410 Sol/s @ 170 W
Efficient GTX 1070 (TDP 50%, mem @ 4500) = 330 Sol/s @ 95 W

35% more expensive for 35% more hash.  We know.  You are not unleashing secrets here...

wrong, cost double of a 470 but it hash at double the speed or near that, the difference is the efficiency which is far greater

my 470 nitro 8g samsung mem are doing 260 each when properly tuned, so eff is lower but hashrate is more than half the 1070's

Could you share yours settings and BIOS ? I have the same card but only 240 sol/s.

Hello

I was wondering if anyone here can help me?
I am trying to run claymore 9.2 in ubuntu linux and I have 2 questions.

1.  How does one set the environmental variables like GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100?  do I put them in the config file?  and how do i put them in the config file?  putting setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100, or -GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 or GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT=100 all give an error..

2. when I run the miner I get "AMD ADL library not found"
but i have AMD APP SDK installed so how do i get claymore to use AMD ADL?

Thanks!

The variables go into a batch file.  There should be a start.bat in your Claymore folder.

You might update it to look something like this:

setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0
setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
ZecMiner64.exe

Only for the windows version? Or does something like this also needs to happen in Ubuntu?

Titan X Pascal - 590

The highend nvidia cards are now doing  600sol/s. I wonder if the upcomming vega boards can compete with that.
produos doing 720@450w, titanx doing 590@300w , so by now they are more effective a bit. Yeah, lets see the vegas.

Increase hashrate are wasted your powers. Profit is depend on luck of your pool.

Ex. If your hashrate is 5 Khash, profit is 0.7Zec/day at difficull 850.xxx.xxx, and found 75 blocks/day. When your pool hashrate is 4500 Khash (global about 44 000 khash). This is GOOD
- But you increase to 6 Khash (increase 20%). You just get 0.45zec/day at difficull 850.xxx.xxx if found 55 blocks/day. When your pool hashrate is 5500 Khash (increase 20%) global is 53000khash (increase 20%). This is very bad and waste your power.

Should not the hashrate race.

you are doing it wrong i'm getting 375 sol at 100watt and with 150 you have 430 sol

I have a problem, claymore's miner show on my rig doing around 2070h/s, but on dwarfpool show my rig doing around 2800h/s, so which one is right?
Claymore shows you the physical hashrate. Pools show the hashrate based upon the submitted shares (usually) in the last 5 minutes. This value may be larger or smaller than Claymores value, because submitted shares are based on luck.

Hi Guys! Whats wrong with many of pools? Why I have now just about 65-70% of my previous days profit though 9.2 gave me more H/s ?
The pools are stilling our money? or difficulty became very strong? or as many more people will mine ZEC - will be much much stronger do mining this coin?
Cheers!

AND MARRY CHRISTMAS TO EVERYBODY!!!

I think reason is that the ETH very much fell in price, and at same time Zcash increased by 15-20%. Many miners went on Zcash and difficulty increased.
