Sorry guys - bit off question:
I just sold 2 of my 3 yrs old 280x (got 285 EUR for them). Do you think I should buy new 480 for this money?
Or better spend it on bitchez & drinks?

Miner shut down last night

Windows log

The access history in hive \SystemRoot\System32\config\DRIVERS was cleared updating 925 keys and creating 101 modified pages.

Try running hwinfo64 and log to a file, if it happens again you could check for voltage problems, heat problems etc afterwards.

In a possibly related question. What is the likeliness that the remote admin utility can be used to gain access to data on a computer running the mining client?

strapped rom at 1500 nothing else except for -100mv. I should be able to get 5% to 10% higher if i did not use -100mv

Numbers are higher on my rigs.

Guys I got 1500W power supply and RIG is drawing 1400W, should I add another 750W power supply to power motherboard and the 1500W for the GPUS? Anyone got experience with this? I don't like to load my power supply with more then 80%, I feel if I keep it running at 90 or 95% will will get fried in a couple of days.
PSUs are rated by DC power output so a 1500W PSU supplying 1500W would be drawing ~1700W AC power from the wall depending on efficiency. 1400W from the wall means the PSU is supplying ~1250W = 83% of 1500W.

Oh I didn't know that, thanks!

As long as your temps are okay, you should be fine.

@Claymore
looks like some sync related bug - I've got a mixed rig here: it has 370, 470 and 480s.
If I run different intensity (2 for 400 and 1 for 370) I get about 15% of shares rejected.
If all is set to "-i 2" - no problem, rejects below 1%

What rates are you getting for your 370 and what clock settings?

GPU 3

I have the same thing, one card fails, had no problems with v1-v3, using i=0, what exactly changed in v4? Problem is that the miner restarts with one less gpu after the hang. Is there a way to simply close the miner instead of restarting ? I mean close with like pressing key Q instead of taskkill, if taskkill is used then it crashes the PC sometimes.
