I'm having issues with my rigs rebooting randomly after some time using V4, did not have these problems before.
Can't seem to nail down any obvious cause for this.

All rigs are running Windows 7 Pro and ASUS STRIX RX 480 8GB with powered risers. -i 0 vs -i 2 seems to have no effect on stability.

Anyone else having issues like this?

Overclocked BIOS?

If someone wants to disassembly his code under windows, nobody can stop him Smiley. Beleive me Smiley

The developer Claymore is concerned about disassembling his software.
It is OK to pay a small fee but several routines used in ZCash miner, the developer already made them for other miners (ETH miner) and he reused it (I would do the same) so it is questionable why the developer uses a DefFee of 2.5% in ZEC while he uses a DefFee of 1% in ETH.
He indirect incentive miners to “have a look” at his software miner, disassembling it (eg. reverse engineering with IDA). And it is a matter of time: 1 day, 1 week, 1 month, depends the free time of the who is re-creating the program.

The first time I ran v4.0 I got ~82H/s on my 280x ,  now I can't recreate it, now getting ~70H/s, and I didn't use any special settings at all..   any thoughts guys?

I had similar problems on v3.0 with -i 2 param. After failover switch, my R-370 decrease from 35H/s to 25H/s.

Building Wealth through AI and the power of the bl
This might sound really stupid but, is it possible to mine on a 32 bit windows 7 note book ? Is there a CPU miner for it? I ready to burn my notebook Wink

Fighting mob law and inquisition in this forum
Maybe for those linux users..create a fund to compensate his efforts.
I personally think a native Windows version is much better than all these ported miners we see and nobody really able to compile them because of mising deps, wrong make files and old day crap ubuntu.

Given the time and brainpower he puts into it, it is worth thinking about this option.
And I can understand everyone who stops doing anything for the community when trolls come up and insulting someone. Sofar Claymore did a great job in squeezing the cards.

Me, Myself & I

My 7970 card run at 70-75H/s with 900/1250 MHz frequency with the hacked bios. So it is possible to run higher.

I believe what I see. Right now I'm seeing less then a minute hash snapshot of one 280x gone to invalid shares nirvana. It will be possible when I see it hashing stable with pool approval.

How does -i 0,1,2 effect hashrate? I'm running -i 2 on 390 and rx 480. I have some 370s that I want to test out. Saw someone mentioned -i 1 on them @ 40 sols. Is intensity limited to GPU compute units/bus width? Will certain cards not be able to handle -i 2?

Hmm I'm still don't understand why not publishing linux version ? Is it technical problem ? or license problem  Cry

It's not about money, there are several reasons why I'm not going to release ZCash miner for Linux in near future - most of haters who say that I stole SA engine are on Linux so let's they use some different miner. Also I don't like to see as someone applies IDA to my miner to see how it works. Also I don't like Linux, it's a pain for me.
NVidia: if I release miner for NVidia, these haters will again say that I stole SA engine. So there will not be NVidia version.
I think other devs will create public miners with similar speed for Linux and NVidia soon."

LOL funny community. mining is more important.
Does the v1.1 support client.reconnect stratum protocol ?

280X -> 87 SOL/S with HACKED BIOS

You can modify your 7950 7970 280x bios here

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/hacked-modified-memory-strap-bios-database-for-zec-mining-1676474

As I'm reading this n-th time like listening broken record, do You mind showing pool approval of this one_single_card_one_minute_hashing_snapshot? Thx. When one of my 280x goes north of 87H/s pool usually reports invalid shares.

@ Claymore please do something in your miner for Sapphire Nitro RX 480 8GB OC aswell for getting 100h/s on stock, like you done for r9 390x  Smiley Grin

Happy mining, you are a champ Smiley

Hello.

The R9 390 have 44 unit computer.
The 390x have 44 unit computer.
And RX 480 only have 36 unit computer but this GPU is more efficient energy than 390 and 390x.

I think that RX 490 will be the best GPU for mining and we will see in 2017.

Best regards.
Antuam

That is right. The R9 390 and 390X has 2560 and 2816 computer cores. The RX 480 only has 2304 cores.

So what,
i dont care about toxic guys that insolted Claymore. Man is doing his job and i dont carea about the share for him because he mades miners and he need to earn money to live with while making them for all curencies.
I hope he will think about it.

You didn't fully read Claymore's post. He clearly knows it is hard for him to secure his code from disassembly on a Linux version.
