According to friedcat, the only customizations made to CGMiner were to the usb interface. Therefore, the number of pools you can specify will be the max allowed by Cgminer. 4 should be no problem.

Will the tube controller work with this model? If not what does a controller cost?

It appears to be the same controller, but I will confirm. If ordering less than 4, include .069 BTC for each AM controller you would like to purchase.

Note that AM has made the device compatible with the RPi, and possibly other devices, so the Block erupter controller is not required. I have RPIs for sale on ASICPuppy.net for those looking to get their controller set up ahead of delivery.

What exactly do you call a unit? Assembled device consisting of four boards or a single board?
AM calls each board a unit.

Sorry for the confusion, I am referring to a fully assembled 4 board Prisma Miner. I will not be selling single boards this round.

at his price I assume 4 x 350gh = 1400 gh

hey crazy if I order one with a preprogrammed rasp pi   how many pools can be set on the rasp pi with rollover 2, 3, 4 ?

the preprogrammed rasp pi you did for me with the  110gh r boxes allows for 2 pools.

also how many tubes could I connect to the rasp pi

What's your zip code? Just to get a rough idea of shipping costs.

Is USPS the only option or can you accept FedEx/UPS labels too?

75013

USPS is the easiest for me, so that's the only method I can guarantee shipping within 24 hrs. If you really need to use UPS or Fedex, PM me and we can work something out.

BE controller information

1) The prisma and Tube BE controller are the same, but tube controllers are setup by default at a frequency of 270. If you receive a tube controller, drop the frequency down to 240 before connecting a prisma.
2) BE controller's default address is 192.168.0.254. The easiest way to access it the first time is by connecting to your PC or laptop via crossover cable or put it on a network with the same subnet.
3) BE controllers require a power source of their own. They can reliably handle anywhere from 5v-12v. I have tested with both a 5v 2a and 12v 1a power adapter. The power adapter will need to have a 2.5mm barrel connector.
4)  The BE controller supports ghash.io and slush by default. BTC GUILD and ckpool are also supported, but they use different addresses for tubes and prismas. See dogie's tube guide for more info on supported pools.

RPi/Cubie Controller Information

1) RPi/Cubie controllers purchased from me come preloaded with a custom build of Minera(getminera.com)
2) The system will have DHCP enabled, with a hostname of "priminerapi"
3) To access the user interface, browse to: http://priminerapi/minera
4) Login with username/password minera/minera
5) Setup your pool configuration under the settings page.
6) Start miner from left toolbar. Dashboard should show hashrate statistics.

Configuring your Prisma for use with BE or RPI controller:

1) Each physical board has two addresses in a 5 bit address space. Only 4 of those bits are configurable. Boards 01-16 are paired with logical boards 17-32, starting with the first switch configuration(0000). This results in the first physical board having an address of 01 and 17
2) Boards must be chained in incremental order. (Example: 01:17,02:18,03:19,04:20,05:21...)
3) The least significant bit is reversed from the tube, with the tube's last switch,"5", being the least significant bit and the Prisma's first switch ,"1", being the least significant bit. Off and on still refer to 0 and 1 respectively.

Warning: Leave Switch 5 alone! If you set it on for any board, the controller will not see any boards in your chain.

Example switch configuration. ( "X" is OFF, "O" is on)

Board 1: (01:17)
Switch :  1  2  3  4  5

Brief
ASICMiner Prisma is based on a proprietary X48 design for BE200. It greatly reduces power
consumption of the device per GH/s compared to the X24 design.

It takes the same cooling structure and similar form factor as the ASICMiner Tube,
while being even more efficient and compact. Also, we added cgminer support on Raspberry PI.

Spec
Hashrate: 350-370GH/s per hashing unit in normal mode, 1400-1480GH/s per full device.

Power consumption: ~0.67 W/G board-wise. On-wall power consumption relies on PSU
efficiency. (typically 1050-1100 W per full device, 0.75-0.78 W/G)

Size: 35cmx12cmx12cm per full device.

Weight: 7.5kg per full device.

Powering: One 6pin PCI-E plugs per hashing unit.

The hashing units are driven by ethernet controllers. It can also be driven by cgminer on Raspberry PI.
Each ethernet controller or Raspberry PI can run up to 32 units.
...

AM expects to begin shipping Prisma units on October 8th - 27th. Orders will be shipped within 24 hrs of receipt in the USA.
