What is with our hash rate?  Was around 4 MH/s and now it's about half that.

As stated on the previous page (and bold red on the first post), the pool is going to be shutting down/merging into BTC Guild over the next month or so.  After the announcement the fastest user (~1/4th the pool's speed) moved to a scrypt-n coin.

I did read it, but was hoping others would mine to the end with me.

I hope you reconsider at least profit switching between LTC and Doge as well as the auto-convert to BTC.  I loved the current incarnation of ScyptGuild precisely because of the auto convert.

Poor impulse control.
Compete how? I get the same amount per week here that I did on clevermining.

Nonsense Wink

Well now, that's just plain rude. And unnecessary.

I've earned *exactly the same per week* here as on clevermining, with the same hashrate: 0.1 per week.

How do your charts prove otherwise? From the hard to read tangle of charts I'd have to say that clevermining and scryptguild are much the same. And where do you get your data from? The pool? That's hardly reliable.

The pool is unable to compete vs. clevermining and wafflepool and people switched to those.

On the PPLNS Statistics screen when I hover over the the "Your Shares" Details buttons I see that I get paid on less coins than the Details for the "Pool Shares".  Why is that when I am mining continuously?

Sometimes the pool is only on a coin for a few seconds.  If you don't get a submission in that time frame, you won't see any shares for that coin when the shift closes.  There's also some people who decide to mine specific coins which the auto switcher doesn't hit in the same shift.

If you watch your cgminer/etc. you'll notice diff changes and new blocks sprouting frequently.  With mixed-mining there is no real guarantee what coin you'll be contributing hashrate to at any given point, so for one shift period you may just have never submitted a share for a coin.  For example, for shift 1637 there was WDC generated but I didn't have any shares into WDC, so I don't get WDC.

It all averages out in the end, but if your concern is getting a specific coin you might want to mine on a pool for that coin specifically.  I personally spent ~3 weeks sending coins out to local wallets in case one springs up in value, otherwise since then it's all convert to BTC and enjoying the reliability of the pool. WDC and DOGE auto conversions to BTC are in 'Pending' state for about 50 mins. Others (LOT and EAC) were converted right. What's up ?

Hello!

Ca anyone help me?
I wanted to mine for scryptguild.com with cgminer 3.7.2!
When the miner is running everything is ok(the miner shows my speed and everything) but in the webpage it doesn't show my speed or anything else...
What should i do?

Make sure your worker name matches exact to the worker name on the workers page.  Here's my bat file for running on guild without issues:

cgminer.exe --scrypt -u full_username -p 987 -o stratum+tcp://stratum.scryptguild.com:3333

If you're using 3.7.2 you may be using Gridseeds, in which case I also have this after the server:

--gridseed-options=baud=115200,freq=888,chips=5 --hotplug 15 --usb 2:*

Hotplug because I'm running on windows and usb detection sucks sometimes, usb flag because all my GS units are on a different bus (#:# = bus:device, so I put all those on bus 2).  For whatever reason I couldn't have Ant units and Gridseeds on the same bus or I'd start getting usb errors.
Thanks for answer!
I'm trying it now!

I always found the PPS useful on guild back in the day Cheesy   Wasnt cheap though and its typical that gov would interfere with a reasonable service.

Im not sure if low profits on switching coins is permanent.  I guess asic will have an influence but there is many protocols.   I can understand simplicity and clarity is easiest on both issues though

Low profits on switching coins will be permanent unless all multi-coin pools die.  The pump & dump phase where every crappy scrypt coin had it's moment in the spotlight is over.  Scrypt-N is semi resistant to multipools until they develop an extension to stratum which lets the server embed the particular brand of scrypt-n into the work packets and a miner supports it.  It would be trivial to implement and once one pool does it the others will follow (the only thing stopping it is the lack of mining software that supports the ability to change algorithms via stratum command).

I still want my LEAF. Cheesy

Just kidding, thanks for the informative update.  The crypto world is definitely suffering from the tsunami effect from all the alts that popped up and thankfully most of the more idiotic ones are dying off + people aren't riding the pump and dump train anymore.  Also very interested in seeing how the IRS wants to apply the 'property' decision, all interpretations I've read say it will provide a traditional FIFO treatment for holdings, which is 100% opposite of how BTC/crypto works since you can trace outputs, so 1BTC I get today is actually very different than 1BTC that I got in 2011.  They're gonna make us all tax evaders for being logical.

For people worried about losing the switching, BTCChina is relatively easy to sign up for and requires very little verification to be able to trade BTC/LTC/CNY.  BTC-e is also a good option.  Don't know a good alternative to Cryptsy for dumping DOGE, though, don't care for it other than what Eleuthria said in having a community that isn't going away, so I'm on 50% dump and 50% store for that one.
