Most of the old casino rarely come back to market here. It seems to me that once they hit a certain target number of users, they relax and stop pushing too much bonus promotions in the forum alongside the signature campaigns

Back then, Cloudbet would have so many bonus promotions, contents and other giveaways in games and rounds
They can leave after achieving success and good customer base for their business but they can return here like Bistler team recently said in their announcement thread that their team are considering some possible marketing in the forum after leaving some years ago.

Some casinos have their own forums like Stake, Primedice and others but if they want to advertise their business, they have to do this outside their own forums. Their own forums are only places to build up bond and loyalty of their users, not best places to advertise and find new customers.

Cloudbet as you knew, has signature campaigns with Hhampuz, then stop these campaigns and marketing many months, before they do it again with icopress, then stop it again.

We don't know will they return with campaigns in future but they possibly will do it again.

Has anyone of here playing before received an email from Cloudet about their new VIP Rewards program? I used to play here before and now I received an email saying that I have a reward I can claim. I only got 5 USDT, but the claim is scheduled, similar to coins.game if you're familiar with it. Right now my cloudbet account is Silver VIP close to Gold VIP and if I wager something 100$ they will reward me 10$.

I have a feeling that cloudbet might consider running a signature campaign here on bitcointalk. Especially if someone can contact them.

Here's the email I received:

Same here, I received a promotional email 5hrs ago which is odd for me since I don’t received email notifications from cloudbet long time ago due to my long inactivity on this casino. I don’t know what’s my VIP level on this since I never open again my casino account when they introduced VIP level system but I get an email like the pictures below.

IIRC, @icopress is the last signature campaign manager of this casino back when they are still have promotions here in the forum.

Congratulations @theroyalgambler, $100 is still a profit, and not everyone makes profit on their first come back using this site.

I was also curious so I visited the site again and I'm surprise with the new UI, just like you, I haven't been using this site anymore, I usually use this in the past for sports betting purposes, but you know, a lot of casinos have appeared so I forgot that there's still this one. As usua, the design is still impressive and I got impress more because its UI is very responsive in my end. Sadly, it seems like OP is not anymore actively promoting in the forum.

Not use how many of you did see, however from our side is that i haven't checked Cloudbet for ages and yesterday I saw the new Casino Design, which seems to be in beta, and it just looks amazing.

The filtering system, the Hot & Cold slots, sort games by highest RTP and so on, puts the overall experience to a new level.

it will be nice to have the feature of hot and cold to all the slots, which i think can help the players choose the ones that could eventually help in the decision process.

Anyway, we did a live stream https://www.youtube.com/live/O7SbhoCVgMo?si=KCUWufcrmcpMYAwy where we deposited $500, didn't win much but hey 100$ profit is 100$ profit. I really had fun, i didn't get pissed at the casino for hiding or for lowering RTP, or for long kyc process or whatever.

Nice job Cloudbet

When situations such as these arise, the onus has to be on the business provider to make a statement. Quite clearly a data breach could have occurred and if that is the case the company should be sending out emails to their customers/clients to advise them of the breach (and probably advise them to change their password).

If that did not happen, maybe the company is sending the email out deliberately in that format in order remind the customer he has an account there but doing it without email marketing. In recent times the reputation of Cloudbet did go down because of multiple scam allegations, at is stands I would not remove that possibility.

I don't know why I received an email like this since I'm not  doing anything with cloudbet account and never visited it again. As i remember the last time I played in this website was 3 years ago and haven't received any email promotions since I unsubscribe to the email newsletter promotions. Does anyone of you who played in this casino experience the same thing?

Even though reporting it may be against my better judgment, I'll tell you that I also received the same email. Before I was getting emails that someone was trying to log into my account (despite not having used it for 4-5 years). Then I emailed them to request account deletion -- now I'm getting this email, lol.

There was probably some kind of data breach that exposed a list of emails belonging to Cloudbet users.

This is somehow expected if you use your email anywhere since maybe there are people trying to penetrate and do something malicious act using your mail so best thing to do with that case is abandon your email since it seems there's some people know about it. If no other issue happen then its good but for preventive measure much better to avoid using that mail especially if you want to register on a platforms that you deposit some amount for investment or trading reasons.

I don't experience the same issue but with my old account which I didn't use anymore but try to consider all preventive measure for your protection.

Maybe someone was trying to intentionally or erroneously use your email address to register on Cloudbet?

I have an account with them from way back. I also stopped using the casino for some good years now, but the last promotional email I got from them was in 2018. Maybe some messages end up in the spam folder, I am not sure.

This thread is inactive for the long term inactivity of Cloudbet team here in the forum. Anyway, you have received this email as someone has tried to create an account on Cloudbet with it. I haven't received any message like that. But I just tried to create a new account with my Cloudbet email address, and I got the same email like you after trying this.

self proclaim "The No.1 Bitcoin gambling Site"     I've been a a member since they are started.. I can say they have poor customer service specially if you are a highroller and also if you are winning. So be careful with this site..
Is gambling one of the reasons you are irresponsible with your finances and can't even take proper care of your young family?
Please stop making gambling as a source of income. Only gamble what you can afford to lose, and always do it as a source of entertainment.

That being said, why do you still continue using a service that has poor customer support, yet there are other much better ones out there.

Lol. It depends on who he is dealing with. Most of the time, people are just unreasonable anymore that’s why they can’t accept a valid reasoning. Steve never give a call here that is not fair to both party.

If you can provide a valid reference without any bias opinion then I will believe to you.  Wink

made around 40 profit this year and they start limit my bets 10-20 dollars max
The common thing is that both of you are in profit (winning). Generally, every sportsbook (odds provider) limits the account of a user if the user makes profit continuously. It doesn't matter to them whether the user is a high roller or not. However, betting site doesn't apply the same rules if you are winning on casino games.

btw i was at the last vip level
bet around 20-30k weekly
made around 40 profit this year and they start limit my bets 10-20 dollars max
a bit sad as a vip
so of course u cant stay in the vip level
i do my kyc again the second in one year ; take all the money and left

i feel betrayed by how they act

They don’t care about your VIP status as long as you are winning since you are unprofitable to their business. They will only treat you as real VIP if you are in negative profit while you already established your account as unprofitable through the years.

That’s how casino work so maybe try casino that is reputable and very active here next time so that you can appeal your case like this. I highly recommend sportsbet.io because Steve is very reasonable man and their casino is on the business for a long time while they are active here in the forum. There’s no way to appeal this kind of case when talking to casino support in the website.

I am currently addressing a problem gambling addiction and have taken proactive measures by permanently self-excluding myself from participating in any form of gambling with legal and licensed operators within Australia. This self-exclusion was intended to ensure that I could not engage in gambling activities, even if I were inclined to do so.

In September 2022, I encountered a troubling situation when I received marketing communications from Cloudbet. These communications explicitly encouraged my participation, stating phrases such as "join the club" and claiming that Cloudbet had been "serving Australia's crypto community since 2013." I possess substantial evidence documenting these marketing materials.

Moreover, when accessing Cloudbet's website from an Australian IP address, their homepage boldly declared, "The best Bitcoin sports betting site in Australia." Once again, I have gathered concrete evidence to support this claim.

Regrettably, these marketing tactics successfully lured me into activating an account with Cloudbet. Over the course of my account's existence, I made deposits exceeding $40,000. During this period, it became increasingly evident that my vulnerability to problem gambling was exploited rather than addressed.

Eventually, I encountered a disconcerting situation where I could no longer access Cloudbet's website, as it displayed a government notice stating that they were "banned." Upon conducting further research, it became apparent that the Australian Government and the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) had formally banned Cloudbet and conveyed this decision in July 2022. This action occurred two months prior to the distribution of the misleading marketing material and my account activation. I am prepared to provide documented proof of the public notice and correspondence between the Australian government, Cloudbet, and Curacao Egaming regarding this matter.

I am deeply troubled by these circumstances, as I feel I have been deceived, misled, and deliberately targeted by Cloudbet. Had Cloudbet genuinely held an Australian license, as they professed, I would not have been able to create an account in my excluded state.

Upon contacting Cloudbet's support and raising my concerns, they consistently maintained that my understanding was incorrect and asserted that they were legally operating under full licensure within Australia's jurisdiction. This, I firmly believe, is a manifest falsehood.

Cloudbet's own licensing requirements explicitly dictate that operators must have a thorough understanding of the laws governing the jurisdictions in which they offer games of chance. Furthermore, their terms and conditions, which I reviewed carefully, unambiguously state that they do not accept registrations from individuals residing in jurisdictions that prohibit online sports betting, gambling, gaming, and games of skill, particularly when involving cryptocurrency.

“7.1.1. Before you are able to start playing on the Website, we will require you to first register with us.

7.1.2. We do not accept registration from persons resident in jurisdictions that prohibit you from participating in online sports betting, gambling, gaming, and/or games of skill, for and/or with Cryptocurrency.“

The issue transcends my personal experience; it raises a significant concern regarding Cloudbet's actions and the broader implications of their conduct. By allowing individuals from banned jurisdictions to register, Cloudbet potentially manipulates the situation to its advantage, misleading players with marketing materials while retaining the ability to deny payouts should a player win significantly.
There are plenty of examples I can provide where Cloudbet refused to pay users from banned jurisdictions and rather than paying out winnings, decided to void all bets and refund deposits. Cloudbet should remain consistent and do that for the losers too.

dont forget to say that u lose the 40k and u want it back
LOL
