They emailed me ridiculous kyc requirements. Including a picture of a paper bank statement. Who the F has paper statements. We?re literally crypto people and you expect us to have paper statements?

So not impressed. No one has responded to my many emails.

Please provide us with the proofs. When you signed up for the platform, didn't you know you might be required to go through the KYC process?

Cloudbet KYC Policies, Privacy & Management of Personal Data:

Code:
Financial Data which may include any personal bank account, bitcoin, and payment card details that
are provided to us and the results of credit checks where these are carried out on individuals.

You have to be a little careful when registering anywhere. In any case, you have the right to demand your deposit back (without payment of winnings).

I?m thinking Cloudbet is a scam.

They took my Eth, allowed me to bet. Then I won. Suddenly
My account is frozen and I can?t even log in.

if indeed you really feel cheated just because you won big and are asked for KYC, please include a screenshot as proof that you are really being harmed.
because nowadays a lot of fake accusations are showing up in some of the popular casinos just to bring down the casino.

and as far as i know Cloudbet is one of the popular casino since 2013 and already known by all the old people in this forum before. and I myself have been at this casino and have never had any problems with deposits and withdrawals from this casino site.

I know it may seem strange or even unbelievable that's what I'm going to say but the reality is that most people who are deceived by casino scams, make the same mistake that led them to be deceived by casino scams and the reason is always there. I don't make people greedy, for example: person A finds a casino that has good odds, that person doesn't even bother to do any research on the casino, the only thing that person is worried about is high odds, so earns money and when withdrawing it discovers that the casino is a scam. days later that person looks for another casino

but it uses the same criteria: casino with high odds, it is not concerned with security and reliability, it is only concerned with high odds, and for that reason it chooses casino scam again, unfortunately this has happened a lot, people are looking for bonuses, odds high and forget the most important thing: reliable casino

People believe scammers because scammers offer such conditions that sound so attractive and so profitable that people forget about checks and fear. The thirst for profit overcomes everything, even fear and due diligence. Therefore, scammers always win and scams do not stop.

Often only unexperienced players start to play in casino without checking any information and checking the reputation the casino. The more the user play in casino the more it starts to check not to lose more money by playing.

If person lost money because he does not read the teams of use, next time he will read everything and carefully check all the information about this casino.

I'm just a little surprised why so many people complain too much about predetermined rules such as KYC. even though KYC is one of the rules that must be obeyed.
because nowadays almost all licensed casinos enter into agreements with licensing companies to do KYC every time something happens related to the platform.

@len01 people are yet uncomfortable with KYC as they don’t wish to reveal their true identity. Also one other reason I have seen here was where they feel that their information could be sold to third parties, hence they continue to object but in my opinion legit casinos have proper mechanism to handle such sensitive information hence we can trust them.
indeed there are some gamblers who are afraid to reveal their identity or prefer to remain anonymous for their own safety.
but for myself I would prefer to gamble in a licensed and reputable casino and if asked to do KYC, I would also do so for compliance and security.
even though I have only gambled at casinos that don't need KYC but some gamblers shared their experiences about betting at casinos without KYC and won big at the casino and in the end they were also asked to do KYC.
so what I know so far, even though casinos don't require KYC, if you want to withdraw big wins, you will definitely be asked for KYC. I don't know if my thinking is wrong or it's true.

It is not a problem of casino is the gamer do not read the terms of use of this casino. It is a problem of the user if he does not read the terms of use of casino and will violate them because he does not know the terms of use.

First thing to do by certain individual to check if a casino will require KYC or not so that you still have a time to think about if you want to continue to play or not. Saying about you didn't know about implementation is dumb reason because it will not gain anything especially if casino have written rules about this option.

Usually, those who are in a hurry and do not read the rules of using the casino and do not check its reputation lose their money and they lose money more often than those who carefully explore the casino and its rules before starting to play it.

But sadly, there are still people who don't want to read the written rules of the casino, and when they run into a problem, they start complaining to the casino, saying that they didn't know that it was in the casino rules.

And it's best not to make a decision to play in a new casino too quickly, especially if you haven't been able to find judgment from people. Perhaps, if the team from the casino launches the casino on this forum, you can find a review from members here to find out if the casino can be used as a suitable place to play or if you still play at the old casino.

In any case, before playing at a new casino, you need to carefully study the terms of use of the casino, KYC conditions and withdrawal conditions. If you do not study this in advance, you may have problems with withdrawing funds. After all, it is not enough to win money in a casino, they also need to be withdrawn.

yes but what's happening right now is a lot of funny people when they are sure to make a deposit and play there it means they have read about the KYC rules at the casino,

but when they continue it means they agree with that but on the other hand when the casino asks for KYC documents then that person complains in this forum, even though they are conscious about the rules of playing in that casino, the casino will never go wrong with their rules

They should also, if they want to avoid playing at casinos that require KYC, they should play at decentralized casinos, moreover, it is a mandatory regulation from the casino, of course, if they don't want to be in trouble, they should first read the casino rules before registering and playing, sometimes people are lazy to read, so they rush rush to play and finally when they have problems they complain everywhere

Yes, it's true and there are some casinos that don't provide KYC requirements for their casino site users so gamblers who don't like KYC setup can play or bet at the casino.
If you say that KYC is not for security, but what actually happens is that KYC is made for security. As an example of what you have said, KYC is made to verify whether gamblers are in money laundering cases or citizens who are prohibited from using the site, then can't you take the main point, which is security for the casino so that no user is in a money laundering case, because if that happens then the casino site will also be in trouble in that case and be dragged into a case where the casino is a place of storage or duplicating money by the accused in money laundering cases.
So KYC also plays an important role for the security of a casino site.

Now the regulation is being tightened and the passing of KYC is mandatory in almost all exchanges, even decentralized and casinos. If a person has honestly passed KYC, then he will not cheat and will play honestly. Another thing is that the casino must ensure that all KYC players pass honestly, and do not buy accounts with passed KYC.

Cryptocurrency regulation is being tightened and soon KYC will need to take place on all platforms, even where there is no KYC now. Therefore, it makes no sense to complain about KYC, because these are the requirements of the regulator. I understand that everyone in the casino wants to be anonymous, but regulators do not want this, they want to know who earns money and how much, so that they can collect taxes from this person.

hello, new here but i've opened an account like 4 months ago and been doing pretty well in 1 particular sport, but since last week i'm limited on my bets, like i can only bet a super small amount. Anyone like me and how to resolve it (new account ?) thanks

A new account can be punished because it is a violation of the terms of use. Casinos don't really like it when players win too much.

Nope. An account will be completely restricted to access the casino when he violates the ToS but in his case, He clearly just winning too much that’s why his account got a betting limit or simply casino just don’t want him to play in their sportsbook anymore without telling directly. This kind of restriction is very common and it’s not from violating the ToS.

It's always frustrating when restrictions are imposed, but you should know that it's not uncommon in the betting world. You should definitely reach out to Cloudbet's customer support and see what's going on. Maybe there's just a mix-up or a limitation that you're not aware of. Have you taken a look at the terms of service? It might hold some answers.
Casino security is very cautious about their action towards this kind of issue. They are limiting an account based on his winning percentage and as per suggestion by bookmaker for the casino profitability. He might be betting only on surebets which makes his account high winning rate that result to his account restrictions. Most of the time Bookmaker detect the user that already restricted the account to bet high even if change the casino since some casino is using same bookmaker with their sportsbook.

Most of user get surprised when their account restricted due to that reason are definitely not reading any rules which is clear written on their TOS. Then after than they blame the casino for what issue they faced so to avoid this much really better to read the rules first or if you are not sure about the words written better ask the support since from that they can get a good answer for the question they want to ask.

Again this kind of restriction is not a violation of ToS because his account is just have a restriction on betting high. This is not a violation but rather the casino imposed their ToS to the player which they can restrict any user without giving any reason.

No surebet, i bet on rugby union (live) and what's funny is i'm not even usually betting high amounts, only 1 to 3 Avax per bet. But now when i select a bet that says for example Max bet 19 Avax and validate, it does not go through and shows me like Max bet is 0.44 Avax

Anyway i reached out to them on chat but got the usual bullshit and the "we'll check and reach out to you by email" but didn't get a response, so i withdraw and i'm trying a new crypto bookmaker now...
