This thread has taken a lot of worry and stress away from me.  Great forum too, glad I found it Smiley

Cloudbet asked me for KYC and have been quite slow to respond as well as asking for more than normal, they want actual bank statements I received in the mail, which I dont have so have had to order from my bank.  The problem I have is I opened the account when I was in Spain visiting my family, but I am not a Spanish resident I am a Uk resident.  I wasnt aware of the whole residency thing with gambling. Afterward I found out UK residency is restricted so I guess that means I will lose all my winnings unfortunately, they werent very much but still annoying if thats what happens.  But the slow responses and all the bad reviews I was seeing on trustpilot had me absolutely sick with worry that they would steal my deposit as well as taking my winnings.  I have barely slept all weekend but finding this site and seeing that they are reputable, just very thorough with their KYC  and a little slow with the responses has really taken some stress away about this.

I actually made a thread in the sscam forum as I wasnt sure where to post about my problem, but I deleted it after seeing I may jumping the gun and letting worry get the best of me.  Ill keep the forum posted about what happens, I really hope I get it all figured out soon, never been so stressed out.

Stupid decision for high rollers to avoid KYC compliance casino since this could make them more secured especially when dealing on their accounts and transactions happening there, hackers cannot easily withdraw especially with huge amount of money since for sure they will be flagged and ask for KYC for verification.

Compare to Non Kyc casino where hackers can easily take out their balance and worse the casino where they trust is a scam and they cannot withdraw their money deposited on scam casino.
therefore as I said in several threads of complaints about KYC issues, I always say there is nothing wrong with doing KYC on gambling that has a license for convenience and security when betting. and doing KYC is not fully complying but only complying with the rules that apply to the gambling platform, and that looks fine.
some people here who have high rollers certainly won't mind doing KYC to comply with applicable regulations.

for gamblers who do not like KYC and are looking for gambling without a license, it will be at their own risk as they have already made their plans and I am sure, gamblers who only gamble in anonymity, they are waiting for much less funds.

In the casino without licence the rights of players are not protected at all. The owners of such casinos can close them any time they want taking the money of the users. It is so simple to open new casino and do not pay players at all.
KYC is good but there are some casinos that bypass it because of it cumbersome nature of registration, and they  are doing well in the online casinos platforms. Though it is not encourage to register to a casino site that has no KYC or license because you the gambler is putting yourself in danger, anything can happen along the long run. So you are advise to deposit what you can loss and it will not pain you if it happens. KYC protect the interest of the play and the account as well. So it is better you use a casino that has KYC and fully registered.

but unfortunately not all gamblers want to do KYC, especially gamblers who are more concerned with anonymity. they will not like or perform KYC on any site and especially gambling sites. so they prefer to look for gambling platforms that do not require filling out KYC to keep gambling.
but keep in mind that gambling platforms request KYC not for security but to verify whether the gambler is in a money laundering case or comes from a country that is prohibited by the gambling platform.
Depending on the size of your bets this could be impossible, for whales or people that like to gamble regularly this is not going to be easy and most licensed casinos will at some point ask for this information, however for the people that just gamble once in a while and do so with their spare money such a thing could be possible, especially if they prefer to gamble at several different casinos, as in that way the amount of money wagered will be even smaller and the chances of triggering some sort of flag that makes the casino to ask for this information will be even lower.
You are absolutely correct, for the high rollers, KYC verification is inevitable, its a process they must pass through as long as they are gambling on a licensed casino, except the casino is not licensed, but its simply stupid and very risky to go gambling on casinos that are not licensed all because of trying to avoid being asked to go through kyc verification...

As a high roller who has not committed any money laundering crime, or does not have any intent of doing such, and also, you are not in a region that is banned or not supported by the casino, i see no reason why the gambler should be avoiding KYC, i mean its better to pass KYC verification and have your money, than losing it in an attempt to avoid being asked for KYC verification.

about this issue of having an account in many casinos, I think that this is also something much more dangerous than people imagine, because when a person has an account on Cloudbet and I play constantly, then he also creates an account at casino X, Y, Z continues playing at the 4 casinos at the same time so that person at the end of the day runs the risk of doing KYC in the 4 casinos, and doing KYC in the 4 casinos that person is exposing his documents in the 4 casinos, if only for someone to put documents in only 1 casino It's already a cause for concern for that person, so imagine putting documents in 4 different casinos

people keep creating accounts in all the casinos that exist because they want bonuses, many people even end up forgetting to use all accounts and for this reason some casinos even charge inactivity fees, and this has become a reason for debate and noise

Indeed, KYC is a requirement that is applied by casino sites for each user, especially for users who will make withdrawal transactions with relatively large amounts.
However, as gamblers, we shouldn't need to feel disturbed and be concerned about the obligation of every user to do KYC.
Because the existence of KYC requested by the casino site has a good purpose in terms of security from the casino site and security for every account registered on the site.

Now personal data very often is hacked but much more often users give their personal data but themselves. In licenced casinos users more protected but a lot depends on the reputation of casino and how long it works on the market. Now there is a big competition among casinos and only the best casinos will be able to survive and work for a long time.

People who plays in casino often do not takes care of their personal data. But now it is necessary to provide personal data everywhere in exchanges, different cryptocurrency platforms, trading platforms and it is hard to say which platform will be hacked soon.

Nope people select cryptocurrency casino because some of them doesn't like to provide their KYC detail online or to any institutions. But guess government regulation rolled out and some casino want to comply so we shouldn't get surprised if reputable casino which doesn't require KYC suddenly ask for this since it became normal especially on successful casinos.

KYC verification is good for everyone, and bypassing KYC verification is not really important in some of the gambling platforms i know very well, so I'm trying to tell you, to understand that gamblling is very risk and in a platform that demands verification or documentation of details, the user supposed at least to know that KYC is for the benefit of the player, so at least you have to understand such scenario that KYC very is necessary.
all online platforms including gambling platforms are very high risk and indeed for KYC on gambling platforms is a sensitive matter that sometimes some gamblers feel disturbed by KYC requests.
for me if a gambler is loyal to the platform and trusts the gambling platform, there is no problem doing KYC there. because he already feels comfortable and safe to do everything on the platform.
and usually for withdrawals of large amounts currently the average gambling platform requires KYC

Also users must be sure that their personal data are kept in a safe place and nobody have access to them.

Yes. It is important for users to protect their personal information and keep it secure. However, when a user provides their personal information to a casino or other platform in order to comply with "know your customer" (KYC) requirements, it is no longer entirely within their control to keep this information secure. This is because the platform or casino will now have access to this information and is responsible for protecting it.

Therefore, protecting your personal information is crucial, especially when sharing it with third parties like casinos or other platforms that require KYC verification. When you share your full name, address, or financial information, you're essentially opening the door to potential identity theft or fraud. So be smart and keep that info to yourself unless absolutely necessary!

Passing KYC is the requirement of regulator. Also in many countries casinos must inform the tax inspections about big winnings. Nobody wants to pay taxes.
Also users must be sure that their personal data are kept in a safe place and nobody have access to them.

If you trust the gambling site to keep your information confidential, then that is not a problem, besides regulators are very strict in ensuring that they will not leak that information as that could be a serious offense on their part. About the taxes on winnings, it's your responsibility to pay the taxes to the tax agency, the gambling site will just release your winnings, nothing more, nothing less.

So my account is fully open, verified and the cashout has just been processed.

Cloudbet is defintely a legit site.

I am changing my original post and adding the withdrawal  time.

It is good that everything is OK with you and you make such post. I play Cloudbet and KYC is obligatory. It is better to pass KYC after registration. Cloudbet is a licenced casino and passing KYC is demand of regulator.

There is always a chance that you may big win in gambling. Only because of this hope, people keep on playing gambling despite the fact they also lose money in the process.
The strange thing is that even if a person lost a lot of money in gambling, his hope of winning does not end and he keeps thinking that he will win one day and recover all his losses.

The traffic on gambling sites never goes down even if you see the stats that most people lose in betting and gambling.

Many people believe that they are lucky enough to win. That is why more and more people play. Nobody wants to work but a lot of people want to have a lot of money without working. Casino allows to win a lot of money by playing casino and winning money. That is why many people play casino to have chance to win money.

In all even most difficult time casino was popular because everybody want to try his luck. Many people do not want to work hard but they want to have and easy money that is why now casino so popular and in demand. Many people play casino hoping to win some money.

Some perception happen on newbies because they always think that there's an easy money on gambling but in reality they will face up massive losses which kill up their expectation that they can earn passive income on casinos.

But I believe many still play because they want to have fun and we can see the discussions happened here or even on other casino.
