Hi ,

Regretfully we cannot refund your contract as it has passed the seven day limit. We base our purchases of equipment on our past sales to ensure we keep up with our customers' needs for increasing hash rates moving forward into the future. To allow our customers to have contracts refunded at any point in time would mean that all the risk inherent in the bitcoin mining market is transferred to our business which would make it impossible to run.

In the terms and conditions viewable here,

https://www.cloudhashing.com/terms-conditions

(Under section 2.3,

"You acknowledge and warrant that you have conducted sufficient due diligence to understand the risks associated with Bitcoin mining. You acknowledge that due to the difficulties in sourcing and producing Mining Hardware there may be delays which affect that rate at which we are able to bring Mining Hardware in the Pool online. We reserve the right in the event of a delay which affects our supply of Mining Hardware to bring such Mining Hardware online in a gradual manner. In such an event you acknowledge that you shall be only allocated a reduced Capacity and that this will reduce the Product which is transferred to you as proceeds of your Contract. Notwithstanding the preceding, we shall make all reasonable efforts to avoid such delays, and to ensure that the Mining Pool is fully operational by the start date of your Mining Contract. "

Please be aware that I'm not trying to be rude or pushy showing this part of the contract, I'm just highlighting it so that you don't have to scroll through the whole contract trying to find it.)

I assure you we are making great developments and working flat out towards getting your contract to full capacity.

Best Regards,

James

Hi ,

Have you had a chance to read our latest newsletter here?

We are mining, but at a reduced capacity currently.

Best Regards,

James

but i re ask for a refund

If you don't get a satisfactory answer you may need to get a solicitor to write to them. The UK has some very strong consumer protection legislation. You should be able to find details online. They are obviously in breach of contract by only providing 15% of what you paid for.

Ok Guys,

So some more news. We will be installing additional machines tomorrow. As the newsletter states, we are working around the clock to get these machines installed and hashing.

I generally keep things on the newsletter in terms of updates as this forum is usually troll central. Subscribe to it to keep updated. I will announce what percentage you will be hashing at only when the machines are in and stable tomorrow. :-)

Alrighty.

Kind regards

Emmanuel

how is cloudhashing different than this company https://www.ghash.io/? seems like they are set up where you can buy and sell power...

ghash.io is a mining pool and they sell mining shares here https://www.cex.io

I reckon cex works better for me than cloudhashing, after playing with cex for a day, but I might be wrong.

From the newsletter that cloudhashing has released, it just sounds like they are working towards what cex have.

Today I just wrote you an email, talking about that lack of transparency and information. I think is just not acceptable. It's been a week that I should got paid, as my contract is mining. Instead I got nothing, nor coin, nor information.
But now, after that week i've got 15% of my mining contract working, and I wont get full capacity until two weeks? And the only way you will compensate is no charge your 10% of administration?
Do you really think you deserve to charge for your administration, something you are doing just wrong?

as stated on your term and conditions:

2.2 Mining Contracts
When you purchase a contract (and become a “Contract Holder”) for pooled bitcoin mining with us (a “Mining Contract”), we will allocate Mining Hardware from the Pool to you which is capable of mining at the hash rate dictated by the Mining Contract which you purchase (the “Capacity” as amended from time to time in accordance with Clause 2.6). Mining Contracts are offered in two forms: Premium Mining Contracts and Standard Mining Contracts (as defined below in Clause 2.6). Contracts will only be offered for sale when the Pool has sufficient capacity to allocate for said Contracts except as provided for in Clause 2.3.

My contract says 4 GIGAHASH/S - ONE (1) YEAR "SILVER" CONTRACT (it actually says october contract) it doesn't specify that my contract is an start-up contract.

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

As the pool started mining on october, how am I going to know when it is an starting-up or ust a regular contract? when I bought the contract it said october contract, and I still says so.
So I'd like to ask for my full capacity that I paid for, and the coins generated with that capacity from the 1st of october. If you cannot do that, I'll demand my money back please.

I understand your work is not easy, but you are doing just wrong. Not information at all what your are paying for, and what conditions. As now it looks like I had an start-up contract and that never said any where on the offer. If I just know that I wouldn't buy your contract.

I could have done this in private, through your contact website But you didn't answer before.
You prefer inform your clients via this forum instead of an email or an announce on the website. The last email I sent had 337 emails before me... I decided tell in here.

My contract order number is a9e202062.

Thank you

Taking bitcoin mining to everybody
8th October 2013 Update

Dear Cloud Hashing Customers,

First off, thank you to each and every one of our customers for bearing with us through this period of development in Cloud Hashing and in the wider bitcoin mining market.

Update from Last Newsletter

Since sending out our last newsletter there have been some setbacks but many positive developments to get us to our current state. Whilst we have previously managed to get some of our new hardware mining we have then had to temporarily take these machines offline to deal with numerous issues that have cropped up. These issues were entirely unforeseeable and outside our control, generally fitting into that category of things that unfortunately, sometimes just happen in the construction and utilisation of new hardware.

We apologise for these setbacks and, again, we emphasise that we are working non-stop with our equipment providers to ensure that maximum progress is being made towards the ultimate interests of our customers.

Current Mining Status - 15%

We have managed to counter those challenges faced thus far and as of today have achieved a steady mining output of just above 15% per contract. This number, while it may appear modest, should increase rapidly over the next two weeks until we reach 100% for all of our customers. We will keep you regularly updated on news pertaining to mining status changes as they stabilise and we feel comfortable releasing the information.

Payout Date

To allow for our systems to adjust to changes in our infrastructure stemming from our fluctuating mining status we will now move our first payout date for customers to around two weeks from the release of this newsletter. We will transition to daily payouts shorty after this event.

Waving Management Fee

To go some way to make up for the lost days of mining and updated payment date we will be waving our entire management fee until we reach full capacity on all contracts.

Cloud Hashing & the Future of Pooled Mining

Our new pool is currently having some finishing touches made to its various features and interface. This will ensure that upon release it will work to our exacting standards and quickly earn its place as the preferred pool of the savviest bitcoin miners.

Transparency & Communication

We echo the message of our last newsletter, that we are following a line of maximum possible transparency with our customers. At Cloud Hashing, we walk a fine line of releasing as much information as possible, while attempting to make sure that the information which we deign to release is not then countered by other, later reports. When this happens it causes unnecessary confusion on your part and we will continue to work on getting this balance correct.

Thank you for trusting us as your provider of bitcoin cloud hashing services

where's the pool?  where's the farm?

The unknown section of the pie chart has grown enough to include cloud hashing in the past few days but there is still no evidence of them actually hashing.

September contract status is "Mining!".
When do you start "daily" payout?

According to their twitter account (https://twitter.com/cloudhashing) "Now mining for all contracts. Newsletter to follow soon. Please bare with us while we set you up with the pool and payment system."
