I have already mentioned it several times, but it seems to me that it is an alt farm that was bought by 1xbit and that they are actually only apparently paying someone, while they are actually advertising for free, of course if we exclude the amount they paid for all those alt accounts - but I assume that you also get a discount on bulk orders of a BTT accounts Wink

It looks like the myth has been debunked. Ebede's recent spam posts were all deleted. I thought that I was going to waste time reporting the posts and nothing was going to be done.

I will be putting more effort to reporting such spammers, They are mostly from 1xbit, probably alts. It looks like their campaign manager does not care about the post quality or unnecessary burst posting.

I used to be active in NBA topic and majority of my reports were handled so I can't say that I had a very bad experience in that part of the forum. I think that one of the problems might be that people active in Gambling Board simply don't bother reporting posts as majority of them are there to dump their gambling board post quota anyways so why bother.

He is doing the exactly the same thing for months now; once per week he shows up, churns out ~20 posts and then disappears again. Rinse and repeat.

I reported a couple of his posts and shared your post as a proof of his continuous burst posting and hoping mods will issue at least temporary ban which he definitely deserves (even sig ban wouldn't be bad since he is promoting 1xbit). And then if he continues doing the same thing after temporary bans maybe he gets perma banned. If that doesn't work then the only thing left to do is to manually report his shitposts.

What's the best way of reporting this guy (Ebede)?
Because i feel like manually reporting each post is tiresome.

He is burst posting and spamming the gambling board.

Here is a sample of his posting behaviour in gambling board



Between 09:12:16 PM to 10:41:21 PM today, That's about 1 and a half hours, he made 21 posts!

not sure if this should be on "known alts of anyone" thread but I'll put it here since it involves posting and probably account farming.
anyway, these 4 users seem to be owned by the same person. not only that these accounts posts on the same thread, post with small time difference from each other, and log out at almost the same time, but they also talk to each other to increase post count.

While seeing activity from this link, I found there is something wrong with Brand New Rank. Most of them are not Brand New accounts. Most of them are either Newbie or Jr. members.
I'm aware of this. It happens because I don't scrape the Rank (from their profile) on every update. I think I buffer about 10,000 profiles and scrape the oldest ones again when more accounts have posted.

While seeing activity from this link, I found there is something wrong with Brand New Rank. Most of them are not Brand New accounts. Most of them are either Newbie or Jr. members.

For Example; From the Serial number of 472 to 475, All of them are either Newbie or Jr. members. I guess, You already know that.

Yeah, even if it's a short post it doesn't necessarily mean it's spam. A concise reply is actually appreciated a lot of the time. It's a skill that I struggle with, but being concise especially in technical discussions actually prevents confusion. 17 seconds is definitely plausible. There's also the instances where a user might've already written their replies for multiple threads, without being logged in, backed it up, and just copying that over when they are logged in. I've done that sometimes when I'm browsing on the phone, while not being logged in.

I wouldn't say it's normal to be hitting that time limit often (at least for posting), but I can see certain times where a user might run into it.

I think they just want to reserve a spot in the campaign, so they plan to come back later and edit auth posts. it's definitely spam and it's perfectly fine if you report it to a moderator.

I reported Skil7skil for doing the same. The posts I reported were deleted, many more are still there. If Mods don't ban obvious spammers like this, reporting them is just a waste of my time.
