I found a Brand New account Posting random words on bounty threads which is Spam. I know there are some threads to report Plagiarism and multiple account connections. But, I don't know where to report Spam. So I reported some of his posts, and I found this thread. It seems like some moderators also interacted with this thread. I hope they will take care of this spammer. I quoted some posts for reference.

Have you been able to explore the bot aside from merit/mentioned/quote notifications? Because, if this is the case, hispo most likely added that particular topic to the "Tracked Topic" on the bot.

That's all the instances I can think of...

I am aware of all of that you mentioned. The only possibility I was thinking about was Tracked Topic. Let's hear from Hispo. The guy only posted four spam posts and each post was on a different thread. I don't think all of the topics were tracked for Hispo.

I apologize for the misunderstanding, anyways, this is the guy who quoted me:

C'mon. You shouldn't apologize. It's human error. I was just curious if there were a new bot. BTW, I know Scams are not moderated here. But, Those Spam is moderated. I hope moderators will take a look.

I guess @Hispo is using TryNinja's telegram bot.

You could follow the direction in that thread so you can receive notification in your telegram when someone mentioned you or quotes your reply somewhere in the forum.

I am already aware of this bot and am using it now. But, As Hispo said, He gets notifications of something while the spammer guy didn't quote his post or didn't mention him. My question is, How does he get those notifications?

Actually, that was my mistake. I actually got a stream of notifications from TryNinja's bot because my internet connection got off and on.
I found this guy spamming because another of his partners in crime did quote me on the same thread he did, I scrolled down and I assumed it was the same person, because both wear similar profile pictures and campaign signatures.

I apologize for the misunderstanding, anyways, this is the guy who quoted me:

Kind if ridiculous if you ask me, if someone asks for credit and does nor have a history it means that person has only used debit and cash, which should not be a red flag for banks or credit providers at all, I'd personally take it as a neutral thing, but I suppose banks must have a good reason to always need a credit history on hand, I am not an expert at banking at all , after all.

The market can't continue to dump, it would bump as more users continues to seek a buying opportunity in a bear market and that's clearly the case as we have it now with bull, gaining strength to push price back.
And it can't also continue to pump, we saw some bit of recovery but that doesn't mean that we're in a bull run already. That's not yet the time because this type of movement from the market is scary. If you can remember during the time when it was stagnant after its pump, the market has to dump again.
That's why these times are scary and if you don't know what to do, keep on observing and prepare your spare money so in case, another dump comes, you can buy at cheap price.

Kohli performance has gone down after his marriage - I believe he has started believing he is a bollywood star too and he must focus on his looks and career rather than his performance - I have seen one of the interviews where he said he will not eat pakora because he has achieved his fitness after huge struggle - but where did his performance go - time to eat pakora now.
In India, there is a saying. Get woke, go broke. This is exactly what happened to him. Everything was going well until his marriage with that Bollywood actress. After marriage, he got addicted to woke culture and started advising Indians against celebrating their festivals and doing BS such as Black Lives Movement. Hardik had the same issue. But he realized it before it was too late and the results are out there for everyone to see. Virat needs to make a choice now. Either he needs to focus on cricket, or he needs to retire and take up a role with Bollywood. You cannot stand on 2 boats together for a long time.

For some reason, I believe Virat Kohli is inclined to be a very bad actor if he does end up giving up his cricketing career. We have seen a lot of players trying to get into acting. But those didn’t end up being a success for anyone. Those movies which were made by cricketers did not have any success at all.

Therefore, I think he should also avoid taking the same path, trying to make a career for which he is not known. And if he tries to opt for acting just because his wife is an actor, that would be a big mistake made by him. But I still think that his career in acting would be better than what he is doing right now in cricket Undecided.

Well, I choose this [Casual Social Gamblers].
Most of the time in gambling I spent only a little amount that thinks that it is enough to have fun while gambling because in my perception gambling is just a source of fun and a source of funds or become a source of income. If you know how to control yourself and gamble moderately daily, there is no threat waiting ahead like having emotional damage that most likely triggers when your axiety will up to the next level.,
....

indeed changing places to be better avoiding everything that smells of gambling, that is one of the keys to stop gambling and become better. even though someone thinks it's useless to move and get a place to live far from offline gambling but still playing online gambling is just a waste of time. but for me it's not in vain. because if a gambler gets a place to live far from offline gambling and gets lots of friends who always talk about business, it will make the gambler forget his addiction. because he will think there is another way to get money by doing business without having to play gambling

It's true, for many people gambling is the desire to earn money as a hobby, because many people can control themselves well and they do not have any addiction. But in the case of a business, it is not as easy as it seems at first glance, in order to start a business you need to be well versed in many things, and in gambling everything is simple, which is why so many people choose gambling, and so few start doing business.

Haven't seen anyone discuss the physical venue but has anyone checked out Doha recently? Was last there in 2019 for the Club World Cup, and some stadiums were still in production. Have a diplomat contact there and according to him:

- So much more construction going on now as they prep for the proper.
- Airport security and immigration seem a lot quicker than in 2019. They've made some efforts to make it friendlier.
- Heat is somewhat tolerable for a Southeast Asian (I do remember how it was in December and it was fine but I still wonder how most players will cope haha).
- Public transport also seems to have improved. Buses and rails all shipping to and from stadiums.

Any of you gamblers gonna show up there?

This is a rather closed country, so the news from there does not come in as much as we would like. I am also interested to know at what stage the preparations for the championship are going on. As far as I remember, something very cool was planned there, like fully air-conditioned stadiums, I wonder if they were able to implement it?
As for the trip, I would not go even if I had the opportunity. Too big cultural differences.

thats why you should really be that wise and aware on what actions you would really be making on the time you are engaging on the market.

Recovery is inevitable but dont make yourself that much confident unless you are going for long term.

In any armed conflict, civilians inevitably suffer, either directly (murder, rape) or indirectly (forced evacuation from the war zone). So far, I see that Russian soldiers in the Donbass are mostly met by local residents not as occupiers, but as liberators. If you have other information, then first make sure that you are not a victim of anti-Russian propaganda.

I don't think that's even a good type of business for the insurance companies. For sure if someone has a gambling insurance, that gambler won't be scared of losing anymore as there's a backup that he can get money again.

Even if it's just one or two claims per year, that would be a lot of money for the insurance company and they'll for sure be abused by those gamblers that would find them as a back up.

It's not just about the privacy issue but also about the insurance company itself that could go bankrupt too quick if there are too many claims.

Grin I do not think that this is a bad business, rather there is no demand for it. For example, I am ready to insure anyone against gambling (and make an insurance payment much more often than twice a year), but it is unlikely that anyone will buy insurance from me, because I will not sell it to my own detriment, right? The business must be profitable, so I am ready to insure anyone for any amount, but the cost of insurance will be equal to the cost of the insured bet + 10%. That is, if you want to insure $100, then I am ready to do it for $110. It is unlikely that there will be many who want to buy such insurance  Grin
Insurance companies are businesses and there's no dumb company would definitely be offering these things to a gambler which they do know that it would be no sense on having one.
On the thing you had mentioned then i could say its a pretty clever thing but for sure it wont really be that appealing on someone to take that insurance basing on the amount
that had been mentioned. Cheesy Insurance and gambling couldnt go nor intertwine with each other because it is really just having no sense at all.
But if someone could really deal up with that then we might see these things in the future but it is unlikely imho.

I find this method little hard to find campaigns. I scrolled through 3 pages of yahoo's posts and i see not any signatures campaigns or bounty campaigns to join. the thing is these people are also users of this forum not just managers. they do normal posts too.
I think best way is to just go to Services and join open campaigns . for bounties there is a section for bounties too. to join a good bounty just check which bounty token is listed in exchanges then join it.

I would bet this process is automated... but what do you think guys?
Doesn't really look like a bot behavior to me, more like a low effort merit fishing technique in order to level up accounts and get into better signature campaigns. Another interesting "coincidence" is that three out of four (everyone except @wimex) accounts are in same signature campaign so it might be a good idea to check addresses they used and try to make some connections there.

Another shitty thing they do is that at first you would think that they are formatting the copy/pasted text properly but when you check the article itself it is obvious that whole topic is basically copied word for word, but they shared source link so they covered their asses. If I am you I would report their posts on that basis, just keep in mind that forum staff is reluctant to delete such topics if they have at least couple of replies. At least that was my experience so far in similar cases.

I would bet this process is automated... but what do you think guys?

I see there are posts both on international board and in Spanish local board... If you believe they are bots, then I think that best approach is to try to make 1-2 reports and see what resolution they'll be given. You can also try to give some details in the field where you can add a comment to your report - like telling the mod that the respective user reported by you may be part of a larger campaign, together with users X, Y and Z.

Probably, if your reports will be handled as Good, it can be a good sign for you to continue reporting. But if the reports remain Unhandled for a long time (1-2) weeks or if they are flagged as Bad, then probably mods will not see a real problem here.

I suggested to make only 1-2 reports at first in order to not alter badly your accuracy percentage, in case the reports are flagged as Bad (in case you care about that accuracy).

What's up SpamBusters, has been a long since the last time I was active in the club. But now I would like to talk about a new kind of spam attack that we can see on the forum.

1.-Spammers posting News.
2.-Always have an image.
3.-Always have the link to the source.
4.-They ignore the replies on their threads (Bot behavior).

This new spam is some kind of High-Quality Spam, but I have detected the same behavior in these accounts:

1. MARK21 - 2289584
2. danadc - 1414197
3. wimex- 1950519
4. TheGhostMan 2417325

4 accounts with the same behavior, but I'm sure that we could find more if we search for that pattern. This is how it looks when you see their last posts...

I would bet this process is automated... but what do you think guys?

The forecast for the end of the year that Bitcoin will reach $ 29,000, and Ethereum's capitalization will triple. The Finder site conducted a study based on the growth of 12 digital currencies and the comparison of 9 participants in the industry's blockbuster. According to their forecast, the growth of ETH will be 212%, BTC - 194%, and the third place Bitcoin Cash with 123%.
Kevin Lou, co-founder and strategy director for the Hong Kong company CryptAM, said that Ethereum has very good growth prospects, but at the moment the network needs to solve the problem of scaling. CryptoKitties, a game with digital kittens that allows you to acquire and breed crypto pets - something that hinders the development of the ETH network. In the near future this issue will be resolved.

Original
The largest Foxpt exchange was forced to stop its work for 72 hours because of a simple error that allowed to conduct a crypto-currency transaction twice. As a result, the exchange lost about 30BTC (270 000 $) because of dishonest users.
Officials commented this in such a way that the error was detected when users duplicated about 130 output operations. Immediately, the exchange was transferred to emergency services in order to stop withdrawal of funds. Some attackers have already returned the withdrawn funds, other warrants for withdrawal will be suspended until further investigation.
The exchange was not hacked. The amount of missing funds can not affect the activity of the exchange and users will not lose their balances.

Original
Foxbit, Brazil’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, has been down for over 72 hours, reportedly because of a bug that allowed its users to withdraw their bitcoin balances twice. The problem saw the company lose a total of 30 Bitcoins, at press time worth roughly $270,000.

Through a livestream on YouTube, the company’s CEO João Canhada and COO Luís Augusto Schiavon, revealed the bug saw its users take advantage of the exchange’s withdrawal system to duplicate 130 withdrawals. After realizing what was going on, Foxbit immediately launched an emergency maintenance mode to halt withdrawals. The maintenance mode reportedly corrupted some of its service providers’ data.

Per the company’s executives, data is now being restored, and Foxbit should be back up by March 14. Through a blog post, the cryptocurrency exchange informed its users that it wasn’t hacked, and linked back to two cold wallets to show their funds were safe.

Above three users were spamming on this thread BitLucy.com 🎰 100% Deposit Match ⚽🏏🥊🏀 7 EURO Free bet 777 users! 🔥 I have reported those users to moderators too. I know very well scam isn't moderated in this forum, but it's possible if their posts got deleted since they're spreading FUD without any proof and @Royse777 already handled very well to answer their questions.

The free bet only available for pragmatic slots provider, the user already agree about the rules, but he abuse the free bet by playing in the another provider [1] He got mad after win $125 but he can't withdraw the money. Although @Royse777 could create new self moderated thread and lock the current thread, but I don't think a censorship in gambling thread is good.

I've added the keyword to my Finding spam and scams by keyword list (still waiting for it to update).
It looks like the spam is only meant to promote a website link in their user profile. That's something I've seen happening for years.

It did not find all of them because they also added some dots or question marks after... so "Thank You...", "Thank You???" etc.
One even went the extra mile to change the text completely in this post

And yes, all of them have links on their profile. Most I came across appear to have links to some live sports like football, mma, rugby but with what look to be one time use domains like "england vs australia rugby [dot] com" .

So I can only assume it's not just a simple live stream

Probably, very likely. There's probably multiple groups that are owned by one person. A lot of the bounty spammers, can often be traced back to connected accounts. When, they are owned by the same person, its usually a sickly amount of accounts connected like 20+ most of the time, sometimes even 100+.
That would explain the quite sudden rise in post count. It literally went up by tens of thousands per week, and by the looks of it, most of those posts come from bounty spamming Newbies.
I've seen reports on how profitable bounty spamming is, so posting 50+ posts per week with 50+ accounts could very well mean someone employs a sweatshop that spams 500+ posts per day on Bitcointalk.

I found another peculiar thing: yesterday, I reported this insubstantial post: "Thank You". It's from a Newbie, not OP. The post was deleted, and today another Newbie made the exact same post in the same topic.

What are the odds of some (or many) of those accounts being owned by the same bounty spammer?
