Since the pool crashed I decided to apply the commit again. Lets see if it does well this time. If it doesn't, I think we have a high enough hashrate that I can apply my own fixes. The downside to my own fixes is that we will be a single node, not connected to other ones.

It seems like it is much easier to mine now that the difficulty rose to 4, so I may update once again to the latest commit since stales will be much lower now. No more tiny payments. Sometime later probably.
Are you restarting now?

Ok, I'm at 2.79 per payout with about 7.5 mhash. I checked a couple addresses above me and they were making close to double with same or less mhash. Also, when I click through on my address it says address not seen on the network, is that normal?
It is just variance, so it will even out. And the address thing, its because the links lead to a litecoin block explorer. This isn't litecoin, therefore the address doesn't exist on the site. May 02, 2013, 10:05:16 AM

Your p2pool node is working great for me, just wanted to say thanks. After setting my own up locally and on my server, I give up on trying to get blocks without rejects. You've cracked the problem it seems, all my shares are being paid via your pool nearly as fast as I can mine them.
How are you checking to see if you're getting paid? Your wallet? If so how long did it take for your wallet to sync? Mine's been syncing for 9 hours and still isn't even remotely close.

so i ran through the night, my address shows up in the pool fine. however my wallet still is updating so i cant see any transactions.
in any case it seems like i have a fairly low number of shares...

i notice in cgminer i see this line 90% of the time:
should i modify my settings or is this looking okay? i am getting 2.5MH/s and im worried ive only mined a few coins in comparison to what i should have mined!

Someone is still mining with the incorrect settings. Whoever it is, you are basically donating to me. You should really make sure your miner is setup up right.

Guys, that is how P2Pool works. You only find a P2Pool difficulty share every once in awhile, and when you do, you get paid for awhile. When you disappear off the mining page that means that your payment run is over and you need to mine more before you will appear there again.
For smaller miners, it will take up to 1-4 hours depending on how lucky you are (variance) before you appear on the site again.
Look at that gap. I only have 200kh/s, and it took me over an hour to find a P2Pool block. Don't worry! That is normal. You will still be paid what you earned.

Restarted miners. Still showing up, and updating on the graph page. No payouts and not on the miner page anymore. Sent pm but he's offline.
Yeah, my miners aren't showing up on the miner list anymore either. Very strange.

I am not sure. Maybe check your address. You can also post your address in this forum and he can check if your miner is showing up.

Same here ...seems payouts have halted and shares accepted even after restarting miners. I'll give it 15 more minutes before I switch.
