Is coinmarket.io again down? Why are they not added more coins? They were looking very strong to become the next cryptsy and then suddenly they stop adding coins, volume dropped a lot, and not a lot of noises from the owner. Why is he not promoting his exchange? With .15% fee he can earn a lot of BTCs EVERY DAY, look at cryptsy, that guy earns +20BTC per day....

Yeah they should cancel all the orders or its going to be a bloodbath for the people not immediately trading as soon as it comes up.

people selling karma at 3-4 satoshi are going to lose quite a bit. Currently  7+ on mintpal....

I do find it intriguing how everyone is brazenly bashing even though this is still in a stipulated "beta." This implies two things: 1) Don't put more than you can afford to lose into coinmarket.io and 2) Don't expect the system to be perfect, i.e. expect long downtimes.

I know it also doesn't mean that the site should keep users in the dark especially when there is a trust factor implicitly there, so bad on them too.

But come on, we really need cooler heads to prevail.

To be fair, no-one is really bashing, just asking for an update Smiley

Coinmarket are only hurting themselves at the moment. People don't mind downtime on a beta, they do mind being kept in the dark when they have actual money invested, regardless if that's $1 or $1000. In the current wild west of crypto currency trust is very, very important as so many people have just gone dark and stolen coins.

No confirmation email for withdrawl?

Yeah I got the email instantly and had no issues withdrawing. I'll transfer it back when it's been stable for a bit.

Hmm Mine must have bombed then.  The withdrawl request is showing as pending on coinmarket, but I have received no confirmation email.

Whats the name of the person to contact?

Hi. I sent 1300 DOGE to the exchange on Feb 17th. I know I shouldn't have done it since you don't trade in it, but I saw DOGE as a deposit option in the wallet. And then soon after, I realized there was a forking issue. For a few days it was stuck at processing, and then today, I just checked and it's not there at all.

Here is the transaction id

ebbad036a1463d119ce51a5d2452d2191a2c85a6c1ae45e4d8deab3b90b678e1

Please help!!

What about me??? This still hasn't been resolved. I have lost my doge Sad

Here's a question - When the site went down there would have been quite a few sell orders in. We'll use MINT as an example.

When the markets were paused yesterday, there were sell orders for mint at around 0.0000034. Current value on Cryptsy is about 0.00000040.

Will coinmarket remove all sell orders when markets are resumed? Seems pretty harsh on anyone that had sell orders in when the markets paused as they'll lose out.

If it's like the last time, you can still cancel your orders, even if you can't place any new ones.

I hope that's the case. I'm lucky and don't have any sell orders in, but there might be people sleeping / working etc that might not be able to get back in time to cancel their sell orders. IMO, when there is an extended outage (more than an hour maybe) all sell orders should be cancelled automatically.

well then they should cancel all orders no?

wouldnt it suck if you had a buy, for something that went into the gutter.

sure.. sure it trades at the best possible price.. but while i might want 'panda" today, I might not want the same coin tomorrow(just using them as an example due to drama)

However there are still some that would be annoyed by cancels. Say you were set up in rdd.. with an early sale 1 btc on 9.. there are 10btc on 9. if it gets to 9 yours trades first.. but if all orders get cancled.. and you come back, even with no moovement you could be screwed if everyone set themselves back up quicker than you and suddenly you are at the end of that 10btc line.

But still I think with extended downtime they should cancel all orders and let the site come back with everyone with the coins in the wallet.

What you say is true - it's definitely a tough one and you can't please everyone.

Also, SITE IS BACK UP AND YOU CAN WITHDRAW FUNDS.

Still down here.
