There are several coins in my investment portfolio that I’m ready to keep for several years. This is the most popular coin - Bitcoin, Bitcoin cash, ETH and XLM.

For long-term investments, I buy only the most reliable and popular coins. It seems to me that Bitcoin, ethereum, ltc are the most reliable coins now.
However, Long term HOLD is not always the right thing to do, you should keep a close watch on market and trade according to market sentiments so that you can always accumulate during dips and convert in profits when it hits the target. Blind holding is never profitable.
long term maybe XLM , XRP waves and neo , that all coin have good fundamental on the crypto and have many support from many exchange , good luck
The coins for hold is bitcoin because the company of the bitcoin is the best company among the rest and the business of bitcoin is proven and tested to the public because they are the best.
VERGE (XVG). One of the safest and anonymous coins. Released in 2014 and developed with an emphasis on confidentiality. Verde uses Proof of Work (proof of work execution) and supports 5 algorithms for mining (Scrypt, X17, Groestl, Blake2s, Lyra2rev2). The currency is constantly evolving and supported by a large number of wallets.
I think that besides bitcoin and ethereum, you can also invest in ripple and EOS. This is a very good coin I believe in them about expecting them to grow a lot.
I think that now is not the right time for holding long-term coins. The market is not growing and such purchases do not bring profit.
CARDANO (ADA). Open crypto-currency project, which is a decentralized public block chart. Its authors are aiming to improve the smart contract platform, which will allow users to create applications and contracts inexpensively and safely. This will create a new decentralized economy, and the financial industry will become more democratized.
Very good project - Etheera. I bought their tokens when the price was lower than now. And I expect continued growth to the new year. Good long term investment.
if I see a better comparison of the development of ETH and BTC BTC I still recommend choosing BTC because the price development is stable and does not experience a significant price decline compared to the ETH which continues to decline
I always say this in terms of suggesting a coin for any body, "Make sure you make your own research before investing on any project being it ICO or existing project. So my best is TravelFlex coin, and others like waves, Paymon, eChat, Earth Token, I think thats all for now.
coins that are suitable for longterm holdings other than ethereum and bitcoin, maybe you can try neo, bch, and ethereum clasic. why I suggest you, because I think the coin also has good potential like ethereum.
I can suggest to you Stellar. I think stellar will be very valuable in the future. Also you know they are doing some airdrop and it will increase awareness about xlm too much. I love their team and i trust their knowledge about technology so i think stellar is the best hold coin for now.
Honestly, I myself prefer coins with long-term potential, such as Bitcoin and Ethereum, they are safe, they also have many communities / fans.
I am holding a lot of tokens. As I think Token if it can go the trade, the value it will be different. Prices can be high and low but there are many potential tokens
My portfolio consists mainly of ICX and EOS 40 + 40 percent and about 20 percent Ethereum which we exclude at will of the author.
