When you consider that we don't really know when we are going to die, or the circumstances - consider all the bombing, etc., going on in the Middle East - life is very scary.

Go hide your head in a hole in the sand so you are not scared by reality, or

read the Bible and find the way to salvation in eternal joy in Heavenly glory, away from all this trouble.

Hurray you were actually reading the bible keep it up. I am a Christian i do not read bible. I do not kill other people, i have no other god. I read the Bible and I'm reading again to see if I misunderstood it, but I must tell you that there is a lot of scary stuff in the Bible, OP even moderated a lot because I believe that OP could show more negative aspects of the Bible.

Have you read the bible carefully I think you are only extracting thoughts that would serve your ideas. It is very clear that the statement as well as the link that the author have chosen were biased. He isnt posting it the values and forgiveness that Christ is teaching in the new testament. The author was very careless in reading the bible and was just extracting facts like it was a science book.

Trouble with that is heaven only gets filled up with brown-nosed Christians. Spending enternity with them, is the opposite of heaven, so it isn't heaven.
If only Christians are allowed in heaven, it isn't heaven. See, you've contradicted yourself.

Anyway, not that it matters, that's not something any rational person worries about anyway.

Actually, believing in Jesus salvation is the ONLY way to make it to Heaven.

In many large communities, where the Catholic Churches are a little bigger, if you are destitute and out of money, simply go the one of these churches, become a member in the way they prescribe, and they will get you food and an apartment, etc.  But you have to be honest about it. They will see through your lies.
