We can't predict the future of cryptocurrency as most of the countries have not declared it legal till today. first crypto must be accepted globally in coming years. then we can think of expect digital currency in place of physical currency in shops for buying daily need.

yes, I think it could happen for the future. but not for all crypto
only a few crypts have values and tend to be stable. I believe there will be many new innovations involving crypto in the future, of course with the development and the rapid progress of technology.
It is difficult to talk about this. Bitcoin scalability problem is the main problem, the main obstacle. Bitcoin will not become a means of payment until this problem exists. (check bitaps, there is TX info)
Here, we are talking in general about crypto currencies being adopted as payment system not just bitcoin. I agree that bitcoin has scalability and liquidity issue and cannot be used as mode of payment for daily needs, but there are coins in the crypto market such as XRP, NEO, Waves, etc. that have high scalability and can process thousands of transactions per second with either no fees or minimum fees. Though, I think neither of the crypto’s will be used as currency as long as they are based on decentralized platform and remain volatile.

i think it will be accepted sooner than expected, cause there are already shops in different countries that are accepting crypto as means of payment.
Acceptance of crypto currency everywhere, It will take time because it is a digital currency, it will required internet connectivity and legaly acceptence also required. It depends on internet connectivity and internet connectivity is not available every where, Crypto currency already accepted at shops in some countries. where crypto curency are legal.
Everyone of us who are bitcoiners want a good future for crypto.Cryptocurrency was made for payment system and it was very glad if that would be accepted now in every shops for us to buy anything what we want or pay our monthly bills using bitcoin.
I'm still young I must be alive by 2025. I could probably brag about my coins upon buying something from stores. I'd probably do some videos of me sending payments using my phone. The price could really be high which bitcoin could be $20K+ the users who will be using more and more of crypto will be much richer too.
If countries adopt as early as how japan are doing now, it should be cool. Do you think BTC helped japan to be more progressive in terms of their economy? Yen seem to be low since the time of tsunami.

As much as we wanted bitcoin to be the means of payment for goods and services, there is also this downside of its scalability that's dragging down bitcoin's vision to be realized. Unlike in fiat, you can still buy anything you like even if you are offline.

I don’t think crypto currencies will be accepted by shops and institutions any time soon. According to me, crypto’s will never be used as a currency to buy and sell stuff, crypto’s will be considered as an asset i.e. store of value like gold and stock markets and nothing much than that. People might crave for it to become a currency, but its far more dangerous and volatile to be used as one.
There are already many projects that are working on this task. This year they promise to launch their services.
I think it will be a reality much sooner, if only governments don't block this adoption.
Well, most of the governments across the world haven’t banned bitcoin and crypto currencies, but they have declared crypto’s as assets and have not considered them as a legal tender therefore putting crypto’s in the category of gold and stock market shares. So I guess government has already started interfering with its adoption and I don’t think it will be used as a currency to buy and sell stuff anytime soon. Government need control over the money flow in the country which they won’t have if they accept crypto currencies as legal tender.
There stores that are already accepting crypto. by 2025, depending on the development rate of crypto and how people respond to it, most stores will be accepting crypto as a form of pay, we hope more goods and services will be available to buy with crypto by then,

The crypto money market is very mobile and volatile. in the near future the world will recognize the crypto currencies. Perhaps in 2025, it will be the only currency in the world.
It really depends on the country. I think USA and Switzerland and some Asian countries will implement crypto payment option in some shops by the end of 2020 year. But who knows!
There is a lot of time left in 2025 and that by that time, things will be changed and that there are very bright chances that things will be much better than the way they are now and we can really expect that the rate of acceptance of the bitcoin and other crypto currencies will be significantly increased by that time. Few of the shops have already started accepting bitcoin and more will do the same in near future.

I've been thinking about this, I often think about crypto currency in the future so I hope all crypto currency can be used as a legitimate payment instrument across the country. I'm sure the crypto currency will definitely be the currency in use as a means of payment in the future because every year many people who join bitcoin and invest in crypto currency.
