in my humble opinion, 2025 is already too late! a lot of shops already accepts bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies (ethereum and other altcoins). New technology spread and develop much faster now than they did 15 years ago. i think we are talking about 2020
I wouldn't gamble on a date, altho i'd say it will definetly happend.
Some shops already accept bitcoin, but they're pretty specialised (in my country at least)... mostly tech/pc's.

I think that cryptocurrencies will be accepted in the various stores before 2025, within a few years, because they are the natural evolution of payment methods. I hope for the whole sector that this happens as soon as possible
This would be great if it happened by 2025. There are already a good number of companies, shops accept cryptocurrency as one of the way to pay for their goods. Too early to speculate,with the bans and restrictions in every country today? i dont think so but it still possible in the long rune ,few years from 2025 we should be fine when most of the people arent using fiat currency,when these banks doesnt have enough members to support their asses probably cryptocurrencies would be huge as that or even more.
That is too early,regulations and banning from these countries surely slowed out community expansion but it doesnt mean that we cant,it is very possible but as far as i can see we need decades to be able to achieve this,massive adoption will start when most of the countries agreed that cryptocurrencies is the future of the payment system.
It would be just fine if the crypto-currencies were allowed and accepted by the world and the world community, of course many people use phiatic means for many times, but many already understand what the Federal Reserve Fund is.
Good to know,but IMO its impossible by 2025 because theres a lot of regulations today that is why we wont make it faster than a decade i would say we still have a long way to go to reach that part,but i would gladly say it is possible but in the current situation of the cryptocurrencies we shoudlnt be expecting to happen in the near future.

Yes it's widely use by people in that year, I think altcoins will be an option rather than bitcoin's payment there's a lot more of the blockchain and it getsevolving year by year.
I hope it will happen earlier, in my opinion it can be in 2020 maybe. Some shops have already introduced a bitcoin payment. So it can happen very fast
I think it will happen before 2025. It is in the media now and even governments are talking about it so it will have to go mainstream in the next few years. Bitcoin will be quicker for transactions, and other alts like ethereum will have payment methods like MONETHA. It is a good time to accumulate and then splash out in the shops later.

Surveys are done to get the reaction of people to certain scenarios which is basically based on how they feel about the topic being discussed, the sample area, and even their state of mind and not backed by action. If they believe that all of those dominance would happen in 7 years from now, the questions is, what are they doing about it or they feel its going to happen because they said it. Things like this don't happen by chance rather by conscious effort by like minded individuals to pursue the right objectives.
I am sure that in 5 years most shops will accept bitcoin and some other currencies. It is very good that we can spend our coins in any place of the world.
Hellenic Coin is already being accepted by few Greek hotels, also a dozen of merchants are accepting Hellenic Coin, i think by 2020 a lot of them will accept Hellenic Coin

It could happen but morelikely not,55% of the people is yuge and if that happened we are making a lot of money now especially those people who has a lot of bitcoins today,they could be the new billionaires in the history when most of the things can be bought by bitcoin.Doesnt matter when but if this really will happen we are the early adopters that would be successful.

I think all member in this forum and a lot of people out there are hoping this will come true asap, I'm also the same . It'll be very convinient when we can use cryptocurrency to buy everything directly without exchanging to cash.

I think so because crypto currency is getting more and more reputation among all the people of the world so they are now entering into the field so it may need some years to fully adopt to the system then only people will use crypto currency in their daily life.
I think we are moving in the right direction now even governments are encouraging blockchain technology and crypto currencies so everything seems good, i think crypto will see mass adoption from 2021-2022.
I also think that every state soon wants to create its own cryptocurrency. I think in 2025 we will all really to count on cryptocurrencies in the stores. the world is moving in the right direction and this is our good future!!! Jump to:
