I am not ready to vote yet but we need to look carefully at every available move here including 17.Bc3 My main concern right now is 17.Qf4 Rxe2 (mentioned last move when we were talking about Nh4 so the idea is not a secret) 18.Rxe2 Nd3.

19. Ne7+ followed by Qd6. The danger that I see with Bc3 is After ... Qd8 , Qf4 is ... Ne4

19. Nxe7+ is a good move. I missed that.

I will vote 17.Qf4

In the meantime I may have found another problem with 17.Bc3:

17.Bc3   Rxe3
18.Bxa5  Rxe2 (again)
19.Rxe2  Bd3
still unclear but it looks good for black.

I think 17.Qf4 is our best move

17.Bc3

I was about to say 17. Qg5 to prevent that Nd3 fork you are worried about, but then I saw Ne4 with another fork.

Material is still even. Pretty even chess match so far.

Could this be the subject of MRL-0005? Or is Monero Research Lab currently working on something else?

After Rf6 we must play Re6.

Re6 (boolberry, tifozi, newb4now, languagehasmeaning,dre1982)

Since I will probably not be available at 0:00 UTC this time I may submit our move an hour or two early unless the vote count changes before then. With a unanimous vote nobody from Team Boolberry should object and Team Monero will only benefit by being given a couple of extra hours (in addition to the usual 24) for their next move.

I recommend Re6

Another vote for Re6 Smiley

White may have just missed a pretty aggressive move and instead went with Nd5 there in #16. I was about to post a Team Monero move but looks like I missed posting in time, so I can play Team Boolberry here going forward. I just started following this and its a pretty cool thread Wink

Rc1 (LucyLovesCrypto)
Nd5 (smooth, xmrpromotions)**
Rdd1 (8XMR)

It's BBR's move as the clock has ticked over to the next day. I don't have a program to create a chessboard, so just this for now:

1.e4      c5
2.Nf3     d6
3.d4      cxd4
4.Qxd4   a6
5.c4      Nc6
6.Qe3    g6
7.Nc3    Bg7
8.Be2    Nf6
9.O-O   O-O
10.h3    Nd7
11.b3    Nc5
12.Bb2   f5
13.exf5  Bxf5
14.Rad1 Qa5
15.Rd2   Rf6
16.Nd5

Sorry for being a little late.
