I never knew that Bitcoin can go back to 8400$ and I end up listening to a guy on telegram because he is good at predictions, I end up losing out, it's better to rely on oneself and not others

That's actually a loss from your end, as a trader ensure to always check on the market to get the most current information about the coins or tokens you're ready to buy or has already bought for long-term. Personally, I always check the market whenever I buy some coin for trade. Next time ensure to check on the market and never follow speculatives tweets from some cryptocurrency groups or from some unreliable individuals on the industry. I have lost many times because I listened to many of these guys out there but have learnt my own lessons.

I bought more Litecoin at $61 a few weeks ago, then watched its price rise to the low 80s.

Then everyone started shitting themselves over this Corona Virus bullshit, so the price retreated to $60 again.  If I'd been able to predict the future I'd have sold at $80 and bought back in at $60, but I didn't.

So I lost some profits.  Farq.
There are still plenty of opportunities for you to earn profits in the future. So you don't need to regret or reproach yourself, just gain experience for the next time. In this market, if you do not lose, you will surely become rich and successful in the future

Bro you need to take it easy, if you are concerned about making profit out of every market opportunity then believe me that is not possible, i would suggest you to learn active day trading and make the most out of trading so you do not regret and can make money everyday.

We have the same experience on every coin that we have. The market really behave like that. The volatility of the cryptocurrency is one of its main characteristics, no one can really predict what happens next so we must not blame ourselves when we lost an ooportunity. Just grab the next opportunity to come. We just need to evaluate if something like COVIN-19 will affect the market.

Hindsight is always 20/20. There is nothing you can do now but moved on. It happens to every trader I know. You should learn from it and try not to miss a profit next time. Always set a goal in your every position, and when you reach it, close it and don't look back. If you look back, there is a great chance you will regret the action you made even though you already reached your target.

It's still not too late to watch your LTC grow big in future if you have enough patience, many missed the chance just like you did, I think it's better you wait for few more months before selling, market will recover after or close to the next Bitcoin halving

Things like this often happen to every trader and I think this happens because of greed. If we really intend to trade, I think 20% or 10% profit is more than profitable. I have often experienced this kind of experience but I think we can learn from that experience
This is really regretting part but you cannot blame someone who really takes the risks believing that he is going to get profit. That is why being involved in cryptocurrency is difficult and I can say that you must have enough knowledge before doing that way of earning cryptocurrency. This is not greediness, it is about taking the risks, but if you really study that particular project very well, maybe that doesn't happen to you. You can prevent that happening if you do some research on that particular project and doing some readings about the feedbacks also from the present or past investors of that token or project. Once another opportunity has come and you do have enough knowledge about it, go and grab that opportunity.

Crypto-market offer the same opportunity almost every week! It sound easy when you say it, sell at the highest and buy
again when price drops, but it's not. It happens every week or month, but with different coin involved.
I don't regret for missed opportunities, I am a long-term holder and I will not risk my investment to earn more. I wait for
some really high prices, weekly and monthly fluctuations do not bother me. Who have nerves and money to spare can try
to risk and earn more, but not me.

Buy $BGL before it's too late!
The best thing you can do now is to wait until the price goes above your buying price and take profit. This is the reason why we all say it is difficult to guess what the price of crypto will be like. Any slight news can have great impact on the price of the coin. The same thing happened to me few weeks ago. Now when I take profit, I convert back to usdt and wait for the price to fall and buy back and chill again for a while .
Gaining more experienced so will be more relaxed when trying to scalp the coin that you wanted to pick and position yourself.
Investment to this industry really hard if you don't have enough knowledge within the business that you are placing your money
take time and let that experienced teach you to assess more deeper.

Let me ask you one simple question - if you would have sold at $80 mark, but ltc kept rising up to $100 instead of falling to $60.
Would you write same post in this thread about losing your profits?
As many people already said here - you can't predict anything in the future, but you can work out profitable and safe strategy to cash out your profits out of most of investments

You should already know the risks when trading or investing, this is common and you must be prepared to accept everything. Make this a lesson so that you can get profits or at least be able to minimize your losses. Don't be afraid, I think Litecoin will touch the price you said just wait. Wink

that's the usual thing to happen, friend. don't blame yourself. everyone also regrets not selling when the price of bitcoin reaches $ 10500 and buying again at $ 8600. however, we cannot accurately predict. Well, I think that soon the price will go back up, you can choose that option, sell again at $ 80, or keep waiting. however, at the moment I feel that the price of crypto will reach a high price.

I think you do not need to regret and blame others just because you have lost the opportunity to profit, in fact this is the weakness of the traders where they do not have confidence in making decisions, so that, when the negative issues circulate certainly make traders become frightened and in the end think to look for safe ways to save money and basically many aspects that affect the movement. Crypto prices on the market so traders must really understand how to analyze these price movements to make the right decision.

Don't blame the people who talked high about the coronavirus, that was really hard time, people kept dying everyday! Rather I think Bitcoin price has increased because of Coronavirus! Therefore you should know the pump and dump are very common in the crypto market, so, you just missed a single opportunity, wait a few days more, you will see again dump in LTC!
