I bought more Litecoin at $61 a few weeks ago, then watched its price rise to the low 80s.

Then everyone started shitting themselves over this Corona Virus bullshit, so the price retreated to $60 again.  If I'd been able to predict the future I'd have sold at $80 and bought back in at $60, but I didn't.

So I lost some profits.  Farq.

You probably should have sold some of your coin when it touched 65 or 70. . and sell a bit more when it moved up further. If it moves down instead, you buy more, expecting that it will move up again, to enable you sell and make some profits.
I actually prefer buying/selling little by little rather than buying/selling everything at once.

Regardless of the coin in the portfolio, many lose their profits. The market is volatile and unpredictable, so do not be discouraged. There are a lot of people like you on the market.I'm like that myself.Alas I am not Messing Wolf.

You're not the only one mate.
I really know how you feel right now and how frustrated you are. I also missed the chance to make a profit by selling before the price of every crypto in the market drops.
Crypto is really unpredictable, so, just move on and make your preparation for this coming bull run.
I agree bro. A lot of great opportunity that I missed to and 2017 is the biggest were I haven't a chance before to buy some alts since I have to money to invest with. I don't even know how to trade properly that time even now. It takes a lot of time to analyze the market if it will go or down and some people have that advantage because they know how to trade properly.

Don't be sadden by it, that's one of the things associated with the crypto space everyone must abide and live with, unable to live with situations like this will only make it more harder for the person. The best thing is to overlook and continue holding if you wish or exit and enter another coin which might give you profit. Another thing is, Litecoin is not a shitcoin where you wil be afraid of losing out; the whole market is reacting to this sad event and when the market turns for good, everyone good coins will appreciate in value.

People need to believe that crypto is NEVER predictable. Sorry for your loss mate. From now you need to apply caution and know when to take profit. Let me not say greed is part of what caused your loss, but most traders transact based on greed. I am not an exception. I also lost much from trading Litecoin recently.

Price of crypto currency is volitle thats why price of this are not stable thats why if you have some profit much better to sell this immediately.  And also always set target selling price so that you will get profit and also buy at cheap always if you don't have any plan to hold and sell when price increase more.

Some situations are worse than what you had so don't lose hope. Cryptocurrency is volatile so there's always an opportunity for you to take the profit that you want but you have to deal with the changes. It could still rise up especially that LTC has huge potential so it will still be early for you to regret. Just be observant and wait for it to pump again. Most of us have that kind of experience.

It happens to every trader who doesn't have some goal and cut loss.
This always happen to me back then that is why I got tired of trading before.
But I started to learn how to control my greed and to trade properly don't let your emotion control you and don't ride the FOMO and FUD so you wouldn't fall victim of the sudden pump and dump.

no need to worry if you hold litecoin which is as major coin in crypto market.its price will rise again in near future when all fundamental support crypto market. we know if current price compared with all time high  its really cheap now , and hold for long time will make your assets value increase again .

Yeah, it will be another time for him to sell his Litecoin at another high price because that time will come again after we see bitcoin price increase soon. It will give effect to the other coins to increase, and in that time, maybe we will see Litecoin will have a chance to reach the higher price. And now, Litecoin back to $61 again, and I think he can buy more Litecoin to get more amount of Litecoin, so if the price of Litecoin can increase, he will make a bigger profit from Litecoin. But if he doesn't want to buy more Litecoin, he can wait for a while until the price can increase.

You just have to look at the bright side mate, yes, I agree that you could have made a good profits there, but who knows, maybe after the Bitcoin block halving we will see Litecoin moving to the $80 range again.

Of course, it was really an unexpected event, the corona virus pandemic did really damage most of the markets globally. Just take this one with stride and charge it to experience. Still lots of day to trade and make profits so just be calm and collected, no need to shit on your pants.

Buy $BGL before it's too late!
This kind of experienced will teach you how to anticipate and be more accurate from your assumptions, there's no need to blame yourself since you
are aiming for much better position before selling your assets. What you can do now, if you have spare money to invest you can position yourself and
add some more so after this correction you'll be able to catch more profits when the market bounce back.

Losses due to not being able to guess the future is a natural thing, it is very clear if you can predict your future will become a millionaire now.

Trading is really unpredictable but it's fine cause you just missed a profit opportunity but you still have your litecoin in you, so you still have the chance to make a profit. As long as you hold you coin and not dump it at a lower price than you've bought it, you wouldn't say you losed profit. You just have to be patient in waiting for the next opportunity.

If only we can predict the price then this kind of scenario wont happen but unfortunately we cant do that. Sometimes we are thinking price increase is an indication of bull run so we are not selling but its not the case. Hence its better if you gain profit already sell then buy back once the value decline.

Nevertheless you dont need to feel bad about it because there's a high chance the price will bounce back again to $80 or beyond so just be patient.

That's absolutely normal on all of us, if everybody who bought coins can see that future than who would lose? It happens. We can only predict but it's right all the time. I had so many experience this and in so many different coins, I bet most of us here, so chill.

I think this is a good opportunity for you to invest in bitcoin since the market price is dump to 8k$ from 10k $, in my opinion, this is a good opportunity because the price is surely going to pump in the coming months considering there is a bitcoin halving event. Also, the bitcoin demand is already there so for sure your investment, you will not be going to lose profit anyway if you are not going to sell your bitcoin for most of the time people will sell their bitcoin or lose hope in the token if the price drop if you are not going to hold your bitcoin for a long term until the market pump surely this is going to be a profit loss to you.

Bitcoin FTW!
No need to worry. I can point out an infinite number of mistakes I've made in the past, but there's no way you can change the past. It's been done and it's over. What you can do, however, is think about what led up to whatever unfortunate event that occurred to you and think about how you could prevent something similar from happening in the future. Learn from your mistakes, but don't mull over them too much. Nobody's perfect, and that's fine if not expected.

On the bright side, there's also an almost infinite number of possibilities to make profit in the future that might be even bigger than what you just missed out on. Keep your eyes open for them!

I had a lot of these moments. This is completely normal. You can't know everything for sure. So don't blame yourself. Just keep trading further.
