BTW,

What's the reason for price rise? Just pump and dump scheme?
Yes jaipagare you must be right sit back and wait for the dump. I can’t answer why the price has risen recently, no more than I can tell you why it fell from a price above where it is now. It is a free market and some people manipulate it because they can and this happens in every market place, it’s something to do with human nature I guess. What I can tell you is this. Nobody is sitting on a load of pre-mine DGB to dump, only 0.5% was pre-mined, that is 105 million DGB and it was distributed long ago. If you take the time to investigate, you will see that this coin has a hell of a lot going for it and I’m going to let you investigate that for yourself. Then why don’t you pop over to Stellar and ask why is the price of their coin so high, they have a similar amount distributed.

I don't think he accused DigiByte of having a premine dump. It looked like a more general questoin to me.
My answer is kinda general as well. I can’t imagine anyone putting their hand up and saying, I’m just pumping this coin for a bit so I can dump it and make some profit but I can think of a few reasons why this coin should be trading at even higher prices than it is currently.

Fine, fine Smiley. The reply felt passive-agressive, but I'm sure you meant no harm.
I assure you, I meant no harm. Sorry if any offence was taken jaipagare.  Smiley

50TH/s+ volume on sha algo? Nice increase Smiley

I also noticed the hash rates picking up.
Yep, it is pretty instant. I've seen up over 100TH/s and you will see it continually increase as DGB price does and visa versa and that's why it's worth while continually mining even when price is down!

Hey Jumbley, maybe look at posting the comps at these two websites as well.

Hi Benjamoyne,

Thanks for the idea.  I'll look into posting the contest announcement there for our coming contests.

Cheers,

@ DigiByte

Can you please have a look at this or maybe your team!
https://github.com/digibyte/digibyte/issues/38

Thank you, maybe it can be fixed in the upcomming fork!

Does anyone have some good banking, marketing or technology contacts in Europe that might be interested in DigiByte?  We are currently setting up meetings with interested parties to help keep the DigiByte momentum moving. PM us with the details.  Cheers!

Perhaps contacting companies at the Dutch Game Garden could work out? Those guys are pretty innovative and some had large successes like Vlambeer. I think they're pretty approachable.

I played two League of Legends matches last night with a friend of mine.

We are both registered, and both have received DGB rewards in the past.

Neither one of us got a DGB payout for our matches last night.

We are aware of the problem where more than one person playing in the same match will not get a payout, however one of us has always gotten a payout each match. The only thing I can think of is that one of the other players in the match was also signed up and he got paid instead of one of us.

With more people signing up for DGB payouts, and only one person per match getting paid, this is going to start happening more and more.
Bogglor,

Thank you very much for the feedback. The team is working on getting the issue fixed as soon as possible.

Technically this is not a giveaway. Ideally we would like people that enter our competitions, to contribute in some form or another to our community and that is why we are prepared to pay a generous bonus to winners that also support our network and development by mining in the official pool.  Having said that, you are completely free to and should spread the word about it anywhere you like.
