No worries! When there is a problem, and they are inevitable from time to time, we will find a solution.

Please check your account now and let me know if it looks in order. Still digging through, but for the most part it should be all there.

It's all good Joe, thanks for the hyper-quick turnaround.

Now, I must be off to triage myself. The Beta drop of a recent app update for Oracle is causing some consternation. So, looks like we are both fighting some technical fires today  Wink Grin Shocked

We have been working hard at DNotesEDU to get ready for the 1st Cryptocurrency Education Week starting on Sunday, April 8th. Just to clarify (so I don't get in trouble, lol) - the contests and giveaways are through social media and have nothing to do with Bitcointalk. Please do whatever you can to help by sharing as much as possible. Thank you!! Smiley

Cryptocurrency Education Week

As part of Financial Literacy Month in the United States, DNotesEDU will be hosting Cryptocurrency Education Week from April 8th - 14th, 2018.

The goal is to raise awareness of the need for free, accurate, and unbiased introductory educational material on cryptocurrency. To achieve mainsteam adoption there needs to be a strong focus on investor protection, and while cryptocurrency education is the key to accomplishing this, it is also a favorite bait of fraudsters and their schemes. Quality educational material is honest about the risks involved, and does not make specific coin or token recommendations. There is no reference to anything that sounds like guaranteed high returns, earn $millions, hot tips, secrets that you have to pay for, or any other too-good-to-be-true claims. Educational material should be inclusive and empowering - it should teach you how to make decisions for yourself.

Contests and giveaways

During the week, we will be giving away DNotes digital currency to random lucky winners that have been sharing DNotesEDU cryptocurrency educational material on social media.
Make sure your posts contain #CryptocurrencyEducationWeek  @DNotesEDU so we can find you when searching.
Keep an eye out for additional contests and random, instant giveaways held throughout the week that will be announced on Facebook and Twitter.
At the end of the week, every eligible post has a chance to win a Grand Prize Draw of 5,000 DNotes, plus numerous runner-up prizes!

#CryptocurrencyEducationWeek @DNotesEDU - Posts to share

Hi MinermanNC - it's great to hear from you.

There has been so much accomplished at DNotes (especially in the last year - wow), it may take a while to catch up!

What to do with NOTEs on NovaExchange?  Huh
If you have a DNotesVault account: You can log into your DNotesVault account. Click on the historic tab, and send your DNotes from the exchange to any of those addresses.

Will this work if I make a DNotesVault account now?  I'm not comfortable with Google knowing my financial information.

Not at this time, as the DNotesVault will not generate a new old DNotes address. I will look into it.

However, you can simply email us as well, [email protected].

The DNotesVault Automatic Swap to DNotes 2.0 has been completed and no further action is required for DNotes that were held in the DNotesVault.

However, any DNotes held in other locations such as exchanges, or your own desktop wallet, will still need to be swapped for DNotes 2.0. Click here for swap instructions.

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us at any time at [email protected].

Thank you!

I logged in to DNotesVault and see that the deposit address is changed. So I guess the swap of my coins is done.

Question:

Will coins on Dnotesvault stake automatically, or we just lose staking opportunities by keeping our coins there?

Yep, all done.

The coins will not automatically stake in the DNotesVault. They will however receive CRISP reward (0.5% every 30 days for balances that remained at the same address for entirety of the 30 days).

I have to double check exact dates / blocks, but effectively no one will get the first CRISP payment as all balances have been moved.

If you would like to stake as well as receive CRISP, you will have to withdraw your DNotes from the DNotesVault.

We plan to release cold staking as soon as we can, once we do, that will allow DNotesVault users to stake and earn CRISP, while keeping their DNotes safely tucked away in the DNotesVault.

I may have mentioned this before but, if not, I think DNotes could greatly benefit from being listed on KMD's BarterDEX exchange. This is "atomic swap" technology, no BS, no fees no personalities or bad actors. I believe it's free as well:

https://komodoplatform.com/decentralized-exchange/

There's an email to contact them if you are interested on that page. There are others building on this tech as well but KMD has been in the forefront of the tech for some time.

Thanks RJF! Definitely a consideration. I will look into it further as I have time, as I understand some forms of Atomic Swaps require SegWit, and there are other iterations that don't.

Cool. I don't believe SegWit is required since coins like DigiByte (DGB) and DOGE are listed there.
