Thanks again wiser for using our trading bot signature!

Is it the same report we were discussing before, the USER HISTORY under Reports? If so, I remember the amounts being wrong, but on more recent orders they seem to look right. I'd be interested to know, though previous history may still be wrong, if they have fixed it for newly created orders.

Yes, same issue. So... they applied a fix that doesn't apply retroactively? That's good to know. I noticed my old data is still inaccurate but my more recent trades did not significantly add to the total error amount. I will look into it more deeply and let you know what I find. I'm just trying to update all my trading records for the next round of tax filing coming up...

Update: I did a comparison of some very recent STEX trading data I'd hand entered (basically by going through each transaction one by one) with what's supposed to be the same data from the export function. Sadly, I'm finding discrepancies. One thing I notice is that when I experimented with the trading bot program on STEX, I set all my bots to buy and sell groups of 200 NOTE. On the STEX export data I'm seeing trades of 400 and even 800 NOTE. Since those are small trades, it probably doesn't add too much to my trading volume. It seems that sometimes the user history function randomly doubles and sometimes quadruples some of the trades. This was really blatant with my earlier data when I was buying large amounts of NOTE. With the bot trading volume I had, it wasn't immediately noticeable, but when I started combing through my data I could see the same basic issue, just on a smaller scale.

So, sadly, I will be hand entering my STEX data from last year, which is really not something I ever want to be doing with bot trading. Fortunately I only ran the bot on STEX for a week or two! And I won't be using the bot program on STEX until there is a good way to easily get accurate trading data about my activity on the platform.

Happy New Year, everyone!

A note to STEX users: The user history export data is still inaccurate. An analysis of the data for my account shows me having sold over three times as much BTC as I've deposited and having bought over three times as much NOTE as I've withdrawn.

I sent an email along with the file of my data to support and am hoping for a good response. This has been an ongoing issue, and so far I'm just told to wait and be patient.

It has also been pointed out that the other data display options on the site are accurate, so I will play around with those. I'll update if I find a good workaround.

Happy New Years Everyone!

And a Happy New Year to everyone on the DNotes team and here in the forum! 2019 will be glorious for crypto and Dnotes!

Have a  Happy and Prosperous New Year, everyone!

"An optimist stays up until midnight to see the New Year in. A pessimist stays up to make sure the old year leaves."
-Bill Vaughn

Happy New Year to all my fellow pessimists!

Edit: I am only a pessimist as it pertains to the quote - "A pessimist stays up to make sure the old year leaves." 2018 was a rough year, and the cryptocurrency downturn (even though it was expected) simply added fuel to a painful fire. Goodbye 2018 Angry and hello 2019. Smiley The optimist in me believes DNotes will be one of the few 'overnight success' stories talked about for generations. The realist in me has gathered the facts, tells it like it is, and is confident in backing DNotes.

We've done quite a bit of research on crypto friendly social media platforms, minds is our favorite so far. You can support DNotes here:
https://www.minds.com/DNotes

Good to know. I registered an account and thought I would (the equivalent of) retweet the posts on my own Minds page, but couldn't figure out how to do so.

I think this proposal is absolutely worthwhile: https://cryptoadoption.io/doku.php

Maybe to work on it directly, just to think about and match it with the own strategic plans, or to write an article about it.

Thanks AlCamus, will take a look. At a glance it is covering quite a lot.
