Always Diversify. Don't just focus on 1 coin only but its not really bad to invest into bitcoin purely but it much would really be more worth if you do accumulate both things rather than on having one.Talking on reaching $20k price again then its possible knowing bitcoin do really reach out new heights as the year passed by but come to think that alts will really give you the opportunity on giving out x100 or even more depending on which potential coin you do hold. It might reach $20000 but we can't predict in what day or month. I suggest to keep your altcoins for better profit. Do not put all eggs in one basket.

Selling off altcoin and investing all in bitcoin is not a good idea for me. If you think Bitcoin has potentials, same applies to altcoin.

Feels like you're getting your reward after all this coin crisis that you're still holding it right behind every coins' droppings.
I'm thinking to sell off my tokens because I think it's time for me to get my reward from hard work and being positively waiting for this day to come that my coins will back to normal.
I don`t think you should sell all your Altcoins now. We all see that the crypto currency market is going through bad times. But this is not the first time: we have already experienced this in the past. That's why I believe that we should not panic. Crypto currency will soon rise again in price. It will not be as fast as everyone would like. But I believe that Altcoins will soon return to their best results.
It's all depends on what you want to hold or sell because like everyone this week including me, we are all holding our coins no matter what Bitcoin will become.

I hope you did not sell all your altcoins. If you do, you will soon regret it. You can already see where the path is going. Almost all altcoins are clearly in the green again. Some have even won 50%. Within a few hours. That is amazing!

This is not good time to sell coins. Let's wait. The market will start to recover soon I am sure. Then it will be better time to sell altcoins and get profit as a great reward for your patience.

There are some which are good alts to hold on but there are alts also which are not that good enough to purchase.But if you think that you needed to sell your akts then sell it and if you want to invest to other cryptocurrencies then go.Just be careful though. Looks like many have done the same way the thread starter thing and are now with regrets. I have my altcoins sent to bitcoin too due to the increase that certain date and is now waiting for bitcoin to rise again. I know it will but it could have been better if I am also profiting now with altcoins using those sold ones, although I still have bought some of the altcoins up until now and are all in profit.
If you're expecting about BTC will rise $20k like last last year, i think its not a good idea bitcoin is only for a long term holding I think it would take more months to return its mooning. Its better to hold your alts now and sell if you have profits with it and your profits with your alts you can use it to buy bitcoins if you want to. Its better to hold both to avoid regrets.
I think you should not sell altcoins. I think that the altcoins will show themselves in the near future. Of course your choice!
I don't think you need to sell your altcoin investment just to benefit from bitcoin rising price and you should hold the valuable altcoins which may have good value in the future.
If you see altcoins price base on dollar, it all seem to grow and very good for holding.
It is not a good idea to sell all altcoins that you are holding just because of bitcoin price is raising. It's good to sell the others while holding some which is in your own finding that altcoins has a good future. Now is the good thing to do that while bitcoin is falling the price.
