Selling alts for bitcoin is really good but you need to observe and monitor the price for you to know when to sell alts at very good price. For there is no need to buy for bitcoin because selling alts is already bitcoin.

Actually, it will be depending on your decisions, the price of bitcoins will grow even more but then when the price will go dump then it was time for altcoins to increase so it will be just the same, both coins will be still profitable at the end of the day.

Actually I prefer the bitcoin for the investments.The reason is very simple,it had good potential than altcoin.So we can expect huge price raise in bitcoin as compared to altcoin.I don't sell my altcoin,to buy bitcoin.I will keep the holding altcion for future and trade with bitcoin.

Some alt coins are really great too ,I think we are a little biased about Bitcoins at the end of the day we just have to earn profit .. don't we ? So I guess I won't mind selling just a little amount of my Bitcoins and investing in altcoins that seem to have a future , that will for sure come with some gains in the future.
Bitcoins are the most profitable of them all but sometimes we could just invest a dollar and get 3000% value in return , it has been proven time and again thus I think we should first evaluate this thing about which to invest in and off course not sell off the whole lot , just a little part of it .

Yes, everyone is entitled to their own decision and opinion on which market to get in and how long they want to be staying in such markets. However, from the way things have been over the years, long term investment can only be achieved in very few altcoins except you just want to hit the long term trading pattern.

Not sure how things will keep being but whichever way, we are kind of stuck with the idea that altcoins are tied in movement to how bitcoin moves, which is basically as a result of how traders perceive bitcoin market and we cannot deny that fact.

I don't think that is an good idea cause bitcoin price could go to the moon even 3 or 4 times bigger than any other alts so investing in alts and in bitcoin at the same time could bring the most profit.

i think it depends on our analysis. if you want to be safety, i suggest buy bitcoin, but if we analyze that altcoin is prospective, then i suggest to keep it and wait when pump happens and certainly will get more profit

depend on the particular situations that if bitcoin in the uptrend and having bitcoin will more profitable then i would don't mind sell all of my alts and focus for bitcoin only however currently cryptocurrencies market have facing downtrend situations and i do not recommend if you only stick for bitcoin because altcoins also sometimes could give us unpredictable profit

I won't sell my altcoin right now because I see that the altcoin have a big chance to gives me a big profit soon and I only need to wait for the time it comes. I don't want to have bitcoin only because I realize that having altcoin in my investment list will make me gain some benefits too than if I only have bitcoin. so it will be good if I can hold my altcoin in the long-term and only sell if the price increase higher so I can make a lot of profit from altcoin and bitcoin too.

Every strategy has it's risks. If you're holding alts results could end up being better or much worse than Bitcoin and if you only hold Bitcoin you could limit your losses/profit. If that analyst predicts Bitcoin to reach $10,000 then surely alts would follow the only reason to sell alts right now is if someone wants to cut their losses but at a time like this I wouldn't recommend selling alts knowing that the price could easily swing back up in the next month or two.

if we look at when bitcoin prices are crawling upwards I'm sure everyone has done that where they will sell altcoin and switch to buy bitcoin. and maybe it could happen again for now if bitcoin prices rise again I think everyone will do the same. and this is just a matter of time where everyone will wait for the right time when the bitcoin price again increases quite significantly.

I don't think this is good strategy, because if you focus only on one item, like btc, it can be wrong. A spare option is always useful.

It depends on the market value for me sell altcoins to buy btc is not really good because the value of btc is really high so if you sell the altcoins you have to aware of the market price.So if the price of btc is high the value of the altcoins is getting lower.So you have to make a strategy on when is the best time to buy btc at his lower price.

I prefer to hold some altcoins than to sell it and exchange in bitcoin. We can earn a lot when we will buy altcoins specially to the new existing one. As much as possible, we should not put one coin in a bucket because that is too much risky. Whether we would like it or not; we must diversify our portfolio.

do not sell all alt you have, save some alt and buy bitcoin. basically alt is used to complete bitcoin, indeed we can be rich and successful if investing in bitcoin, but it takes a long time, comes its alt to make us able to wait bitcoin price up and make investment or trading with altcoin. remember, do not pull all your eggs in one basket if you want to earn more profit.

For me it's depend, i mean if the altcoin that i purchase have a potential to grow its value in the future i want to hold it, but if it's not i sold it and buy bitcoin as my investment, but the best way is diversify our investment exp. we have 10 kinds of altcoin, so when one altcoin drop its value you have 9 that can sustained our earning but make sure you have top 10 altcoin that you invested in.
