Yeah sure I buy tokens that are not top 100. For me i am after coins that are good and have a good future and I don't care if it's in top 100 or not, what matters is the quality of the coin.
It becomes risky buying such coins in bear cycle. It is always advisable to stay in higher volume coins because they are less likely to lost in thin year. Even if the price drop to all time low they are not going to die like small cap coins. They will still have community support which would be enough to maintain its existence in the market.
Yes, it's risky to buy not TOP-100 alts but if I buy the gem and it will make x50-x10 I will be rich. So all we are trying to find and buy new gems because they have a huge potential to enter TOP-100 and make great ROIs.

The biggest problem of altcoins from second or third hundred of cmc is the lack of liquidity, so you can invest small amounts of money.

That's good, knowing how the coin will progress is really important before investing your money, even the project is not yet inside the top 100 but if there's real usage it will be able to progress and reached the spot, those potential coins also can bring huge profits when things went accordingly, you need extra time to observe and select those projects around the market. 
Yes, I do buy from rank 100+ because some of them are hidden gems that could bring me profit anytime. With the right research and instincts you could find the best altcoin that could really benefit you. There are some risk but if you really have knowledge on what you do you can get rid of those bad altcoins. Luck is no excuse, so there is a reason that might let you choose an altcoin and bloom after several days, weeks, or months. RISKY YOU SAY? BUT IT IS WORTH THE WAIT!

no , I do not buy not top 100 altcoins. I prefer to buy and hold top 5 or maximum top 10
Such coins are very dangerous to buy. I think that now is not the time to take risks and invest in such projects. It is better to buy coins from the TOP-10.
I think there are a lot of good coins wchich isn't in top 100. We can make research of the project and determine which is better.

Of course the risk always exists, even if you buy coins from the top 10.But again you should risk,among 100 and even 500 there can be coins that can shoot well and get into the top 10 or 20 on coinmarketcap.

no, I never bought altcoin which is not top 100 cryptocurrency because in my opinion it will give me a big risk for me, so I prefer to invest in top 100 cryptocurrency so that my money is safer even though the profit I get are small, but it doesn't problem because it is better that I get a small profit but my money is safe compared to getting a big profit but the possibility of my money being lost can occur.
I buy such cryptocurrency. But not for long-term investment. I try to sell it at the first rise.

yes, I bought altcoin which is not top 100 cryptocurrency, because in my opinion only altcoin which is not top 100 cryptocurrency the price can increase very high (exceed 100%) and true the risk of investing in altcoin which is not top 100 cryptocurrency is greater than investing in top 100 cryptocurrency, but the profit gained from investing in non top 100 cryptocurrency is also big than altcoin which is top 100 cryptocurrency, therefore I dare to take the risk for investing in altcoin which is not top 100 cryptocurrency.
Yep 100%, if coin not in top 100 even top 200 ,that it does not mean, its bad coin and you cna find many coins in top 100 ,worst than some from 300 or 400 there are many just were pumped.
No i am not interested or willing to take the chance with coins that are in a development stage and may in fact be overtaken by a coin with the same tech.
