most people's perception of gambling is quite negative because they think that gambling is a useless, wasteful activity, and especially when you live in a country that is quite religious they will look down on gamblers because it is haram.
and because of this, if it is not very important, reduce accessing casino applications when in public areas because we don't know how people will react to what we do. they could say unpleasant words and that will disturb us when gambling. but if you don't mind what other people say, then just play, but i personally prefer to play in a quieter place to avoid these things and noise.
That's why I prefer gambling more often at home, just keeping it online, that way nobody will know what I am doing unless I tell them or one of my family members inside our house would gossip about me. It's not like I will care about what they say but I am more worried that it will affect my kids once they know that their father is being gossiped about outside, I bet they will tell me to stop to clear my name. So, as much as possible, don't tell a soul outside your circle, or better, don't show anyone that you gamble.
In this era though, gambling had been a normal thing so I think those who gossip about it are the traditional people who believe it is evil to gamble. Well, in my case that's the only entertainment I could have and it adds flavor while watching the sport that I prefer, basketball. Just watching it plain is sometimes boring but when you put a bet on it, it becomes more spicy and you will cheer more.
Some of my trusted friends also bet on sports and they are the only ones I talk to about how much our bets are and if we win or lose, that way if they backstab me and gossip me, I can say he also does the same as revenge.
