Are you asking whether to buy bitcoin for 11,000? I do not think so. This is too high a price. It consists of expectations, faith and hope for further growth. The price of the etherium is more real and can not be greatly reduced. Based on these judgments, I would choose to buy the ethereum. Although the last time bitcoin is some kind of bull. It goes up and up and probably can be such that there will be no correlation any time soon. And the price of bitcoin will again reach a record.
i would like to hole more bitcoin than ethereum because there are a lot of folk coming in this month and

My portfolio has both coins at any given time. Both coins are really great and will probably see substantial growth in the next upcoming years. A good balance between the two is the optimal strategy in my opinion, so you get to ride both waves when they go up, and in case one starts to fail you have a good hedge in the other.

In my opinion, I will hold Bitcoin. The USA Goverment has accepted Bitcoin future contact, that means they accept Bitcoin is a kind of currency. Bitcoin has a good future
Where do you get such false information cause the last time I checked the US government is still watching bitcoin closely if it help fraud or money laundering but bitcoin is going mainstream though, through the help of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange Group(CME) which has officially announced Bitcoin futures contracts which will be launch on December 18, 2017 along with the Nasdaq. However, bitcoin is looking despite the fact that the coin cap market have close for weekend and this is a sign that it will be good if people choose to hold bitcoin.
In fact, personally, I do not have a choice between the ethereum and bitcoin. Since all the major investments at the time of the frenzied growth of bitcoin I had in ethereum. I have little in bitcoin. Eth certainly also showed growth, but not as high as bitcoin. I will not sell. Though I think for 11 000. This is an unrealistic price.

You're contradicting yourself. If you prefer the transaction fee and speed of Ethereum then you're not holding Ethereum, you're moving it. The coin you want to hold is the one that increases the most in value without having to move it.

Last week proved that it's better to hold Bitcoin than Ethereum. When Bitcoin fell 20%, other coins went down too. That means people didn't exchange their Bitcoin for altcoins like Ethereum but for fiat. Bitcoin recovered better than the other coins. BTC dominance has increased from a low in July, now it's moving back up to 70% again.

If I am thinking from the long term perspective I am definitely holding Bitcoin, as all you hear is that Bitcoin one day…not to long from now, will even reach hundreds of thousands. While I use Ethereum mostly to participate in ICOs

I don't need to choose between one of them, instead I hold em both because they are both giving profit to me but most of the time Ethereum was giving me a huge earnings in participating in the bounty campaign. But holding in a long term in bitcoin is much more better though ethereum is also good in a long term holdings too.

I would keep both BTC and ETH. because, in my opinion, both good crypto currencies are held. if you have less capital, then ETH will be a good choice, because BTC is expensive, and ETH is much cheaper than compared to BTC, but I would give priority to ETH, because, in my opinion, it is now a valuable coin.
I think to hold both of Bitcoin and Ethereum are good. They are "Gold" and "Silver" of Crypto world. From the day they were born. Investing in them never make you disappointed

What if you hold Ethereum for long but it didn't progress at all? Such questions may change everything so be careful in choosing the coin that will suit your need. I prefer Ethereum because it is a constant earning value. The BTC's price is very high so it isn't appropriate for small investments in my opinion.
Yes, bitcoin price is increasing but you're wrong when you bitcoin is not good for small investor because sooner or later every bitcoin holder will enjoy their investment after the year 2020 and I will advice to start invest into bitcoin little by little now before it too late. However, I will choose bitcoin anytime anyday.I hold both of them. But I also support bitcoin in terms of price speculation. The potential in bitcoin is greater than ethereum.
