I try to hold both. As Ethereum is what is used to participate in ico, it a good idea to keep some on hand always. As for bitcoin, I think everyone who believes in cryptos should keep some bitcoin coin to support an impenetrable price floor.
At the moment, I hold most of my assets in ETH as it seems to me more stable and with greater opportunity for growth
For me, I choose to hold all of them, because the price of eth and bitcoin is are profitable for a long term investment and the popularity of eth and bitcoin is good in crypto currencies.
The recent bitcoin price volatility is particularly large, but the price of eth has been very stable, you choose to buy eth or bitcoin?
I choose to hold bitcoin because it is the king of all currencies and a far superior to all coins and profits are huge. 
I am holding both right now in my wallet. I believe both coins are undervalued right now. (To me bitcoin worths 30-40k, ethereum worths 5k.) Well this is my personal expectation, cant assure anyone if its gonna happen or not.
At the price levels that you indicated, ETH will be the top1 coin. With a capitalization of about half a trillion dollars, I doubt that this could happen in the next few years.
I would pref to hold bitcoin because of their value but even tho i would prefer to hold it if i invested fast enough when it was at the start like 200 or 300 or even abit more. Tho ethereum seems to be abit stronger on their holds .
i choose to hold bitcoin. The main reason is because the popularity of bitcoin is more famous than in other crypto currencies. then another reason is bitcoin has advantages, including:
1. in the interest of many people especially for investment
2. the transactions is easier than other crypto currencies
3. bitcoin has limited stock and has many investors. with a limited of stock and then the more interest the value will be higher
4. unlimited transaction and can't be detected

Hold bitcoin or ethereum, I think the both are profitable for a long term investment, it's already looks the these coins is really visible that would be more showing its bright's side from a various sources which to predict that.
In essence is the unlucky ones., it's who didn't pick the these both coins.

I choose to hold eth because it's easy to duplicate and very friendly at price while in bitcoin, i'm having trouble with the system and the price is very high but i can not afford this price so my first choice to hold is eth.
you study the market trend. the recent fall in price of BTC for example provided a perfect chance to buy as the prices were low, if you have bitcoins, this was not the time to panic, it was time to hold and wait patiently, and as we have seen , BTC has gained value again. A deep in price doesn't necessarily mean a digital coin is about to collapse, sometimes its just the effect of market forces .
Both are good holds. Ethereum is the better holder long term though, as bitcoin already has a high value. Which leaves ether with a lot more room to grow. Also considering bitcoins high price, a 10% or 20% drop can sometimes be quite hefty if say one day you REALLY needed to cash out, for some reason.
I choose eth in the end, as it's safer in my opinion for holding its value right now.

I’m holding both.. Ethereum is my first chiude because is more And more adopted bu the community but, for now, bitcoin is stil the mosto known crypto.

if I prefer to hold the eth because the prospect is very good for long time why I think like that because eth is used by many users for example like coin ico. average coin is much use erc20 is very certain and nothing is impossible if later eth will equating the bitcoin itself
BTC and ETH, I would choose to hold.
Since the BTC is the leader of cryptocurrency markets, the BTC will not disappear as long as the cryptocurrency market exists.

To hold Bitcoin or Ethereum the two are good but i prefer to hold DeepOnion is a good coin to holder 
But it is not a very logical choice for instant trading. It is definitely not to be preferred for instant trading. An indispensable cryptographic unit for longer term investments. After the $ 400 million investment, everyone will have a lot of profits 
You should always be aware of breakpoints. I would like to choose both of them. If the market cap will rise up like this, They'll be standing on the top of the mountain !
