I love both. I prefer ETH when exchanging for other altcoins since the transactions are lower. But Bitcoin is also lowering their transactions now so that is positive news.
I clearly understand that in current market BTC looks much more interesting to hold, cause its starting to grow.
But I am personally true believer of ALTs, thus I prefer holding ETH. Its my personal vision, even I understand that I loose some value due to BTC price increase.

I will suggest you to don't hold any cryptocurrency for long time. Buy it now sell immediately when it's price increase. Try to do crypto trade in best trading platform like bitrex, polonix, coinexchange etc. Hold coin for short time & sell when its price increase.

Remember that bitcoin was only $850 on march 2017 and we saw incredible incrase in bitcoin prices in the upcoming months.

ETH more promising for profit. Because i want the money i invest work more actively. Investing in bitcoin makes me spoiled. Because just waiting for price greater than before. While ethereum, I can use to buy tokens that have bright prospects.
BTC for me, but keeping ETH for gas on my wallet so I could withdraw and convert them into cash when I need some, better to plan ahead before its too late especially during emergency time.
To hold Bitcoin or Ethereum. I personally would keep Ethereum against Bitcoin. Karen Ethereum is great for being kept and held for the future. I think the price of Ethereum will continue to rise.
it's hard to choose between the two but in fact I was the etherum holder for the past 1 year and indeed as long as I hold the etherum I feel that this coin is the safest coin as long as I invest in crypto market. Last week I was sure that Ethereum is the most reliable and profitable investment. But recently I read the news from the creators of the air. After that my opinion changed. Yes i always hold these and other cryptos. I have this sort of maintaining balance so that i can use it in the future. If there are dumps, its ok, i hold and buy coins and if there are pumps, i sell some. In the market, you should know when to buy, when to sell and how many to sell. You can always profit if you have good control of this decisions. Another thing, i always have a cap that helps me determine if i should sell and that is having at least 20% value growth of whatever coin i have.
I have never held Bitcoin ever .The only time I had it was to flip it for some coin.My method of thinking is that Bitcoin is not going to make me a millionaire so I will spot altcoins early and I will invest in them.Of course when you invest into altcoins you should do a hell a lot of research as there are so many shitcoins out there.
Ethereum more tempting for me. Because bitcoin has experienced great prices in the past year, my hope this year is the time for ETH.

I currently doing long term investment with bitcoin and ethereum. Both of that coins have a bright future so I invested my money in bitcoin and ethereum. I know that the value of the bitcoin and ethereum will become valuable and I expect that I will earn big amount of money.
Personally I am not just going to stick with ETH even though its price seems so temperamental. I feel that soon the value of ETH is bound to sky rocket and we will see a large increase in price. More and more ERC20 tokens are starting to arise using the same blockchain as ETH so this is where the future will be. Sure when NTC supply runs out it will become gold but it will cost an arm and a leg to move about thats for sure!
I wanna choose both but since bitcoin is so high, eth is much more practical.
It seems to me that both these options are suitable for lazy people, or just for investment in the future. Much more profit brings the storage of new tokens of interesting and promising projects. But if you do not want to follow the market, then this is the best option.
Im holding a little bitcoin and ethereum. I will choose to buy and hold ethereum if ever because i think its price will be doubled this year, unlike bitcoin it is so volatile. I also have some coins that i hold.
