Long-term HODLING removes the hassles and panic that come with day trading and it saves you time. I do day trade before now but i lost much, now i hodl till it reaches a price i am good with then, i sell.

If you are new in crypto and trading world best option for you is long hodl as you dont have the funds to earn on day trading because of low % profit and in a lot of times you are left holding the bag for coin that might and doesnt have to go back on the price that will bring you profit.Buy coins that you thing have bright future and just hodl untill the price reach your sell levels

In my opinion trading daily is risky. If I see a big pump I sell otherwise I invest for long term. But for long term stop loss is also very important. Holders lost very much after last crash in the market.

Since you yourself said that the beginner in the world of cryptocurrency. Then, I think you need to get experience. And then think about the trade. Now you can buy coins, which choose yourself, which have good prospects. And I agree with the previous opinion that daily trading is not for everyone. Many even with experience do not want to be traders every day. It is quite difficult and time-consuming.

If you do not have experience in trading, then it is safer to buy crypto currency for long storage. Or you can buy 100 cheap coins and try to trade with them. But trade is always more profitable!

It's always better to hold.HODL until it reaches the moon. There has been an influx of many new people, and thus we are can see those curves and dangerous dips.
But, cryptos aren't going anywhere! A good coin will stay, it will stay and move up.We are early adapters! Lets remain an early adapter until people realize the true motive of alts and bitcoins.

But always invest what you can afford to lose.
1.)Buy some alts(reliable)
2.)keep them safe in your paper wallet
3.)HODL them and forget about them until you see them on the front page of your newspaper.
4.)Huh?
5.)Profit!

So I'm slowly going into crypto and I want to know if any of you trade altcoins daily, or you prefer to hold it for long term? What do you think it's better and why?

Thanks

I prefer long term holding investments, I don't have the knowledge, the heart, the time, and the diversity of coins to actually prosper in the day trading market. It may seem easier said than done, but day trading is a very risky type of business, having to know that the cryptocurrency market is a very volatile and unpredictable market. You really have to closely monitor everything, and the risk of a loss is always too high, especially now that the market is going haywire. Maybe in the future, when I have much more experience, I could try day trading.

I prefer holding long term but I sometimes trade some coins because if there is a obvious opportunity you should not miss it. Trade and hold, it depends on coins as well.

I do too. But, it's not because I am not fit for trading, it's just that my schedule won't allow me to do day trades. I have a full-time job apart from my ventures in the cryptocurrency market. So, since day trading needs quite alot of time to check on the market closely with which I can't do at the moment. I would really like to try day trading because it is a more active and action-packed approach of earning. Also, sometimes, your patience would test you with investing on long term, which I don't have.

It depends really on the price because there are some coins that will quick to dump and others are too slow to rise which means no one is dumping it yet. And most of these coins that quick dumping are newly born coins which is too easy to predict if someone would really dump the price will definitely rise up and that's the time to start selling your investment. A long would be advisable if the coin had hyped already.

Better to do here are both of that like invest in day trading and hold some for the future because the price can go high by just a day so it's good to do if you have btc in that time and if you have also invest in day trading because the price can go low and high at some time also,I think you will see it already by just investing in btc because the is so volatile but this past dec 2017 the price go really high.

My strategy is to day trade and distribute the profit into two half: 1st into BTC for bigger roll or withdraws, 2nd keeping into the trading coin for holding. By this I have best of both worlds.

I prefer short trades because the market has high volatility that means it can rise and fall in just few hours of waiting, while long term holds give us uncertain profits because of this high volatile market, fundamentals are more dominant when it comes to a long term trades i am doing long trades when bitcoin is going to bull run so i my altcoins will be safe from the correction,it is the strategy i am doing for the last 1.5years and it is very effetive upto now.

if you have free time better trade altcoin every day.
the profit you get will be bigger if you play short term.
but if the price of the coin is decreasing all the coins then try a long term until the price is stable or there is a price increase...

Well it depends upon you in which you are more comfortable with daily trading needs some skills and experience to gain profits whereas in long term investment all you need to do is nothing and watch the market and don't panic sell when prices fall and imo etheruem is great for long term investment as it has been steadily increasing and does has potential to grow more in future.I prefer long term investment as I don't have much experience in trading much.

I was never good at trading. My timing is not good. Crypto is great for trading because of high volatility but I stick with ICO and a number of them are now long term holds. My platform for everything are Ethereum and Neo.

Depending on what you need. if you want to deviate in the long run to the type of coin you trust then hold and keep entering the market every day it needs to be done. but if you aim for short-term trading and take advantage of trading. Short trading is also profitable

Market is too volatile, holding it for too long might give you more losses than trading in shorts, that is why i am doing a daily swing/scalping trading style and i manage to have a daily gains of 10-15% average.I am doing marginal trading when bitcoin's movements is predictable so i could have more bitcoin in my pocket.

I don't think day trading is for everyone. Not everybody can be successful in day trading. Long term holding is a lot easier.

I use a day trading pretty rarely, only when I expect some reaction to a positive event with a high probability. I prefer to make a deep research about projects and search the best of them to invest in and hold for a long time.
