usually, the explanation on the whitepaper is usually too long-winded so spend our time. to make efficient the time normally I just read a glance by taking the core of the project. usually I also just read the important info I am looking for and the advantages of the project.

These white papers are long and full of technical lingo. If you ever actually take the time to read an entire white paper, often times you feel like you ought to get an award for your efforts. But the best you can do is subtly brag to your crypto friends that “You read the white paper”

I always read the whitepaper when I'm investing in any project. I read it in detail and read about the coin so that I understand what the coin does and whether it will succeed or not.

If the whitepaper of a coin is bad then it is not likely to suceed.

I'm a technical specialist, and if I'm interested in the project then I read white paper, but most projects at first glance look like scam

I'm not really read the whitepaper while joining on the ICO project. I just follow a project in which there are many people participating. Like that so I do not need to read or review about an ICO project.

whitepaper is the one of initial steps to winnow the scam projects. I often look the white paper if i am going to invest in that then look for feasibility of idea and then if the given team can achieve what they are saying.
Yes whitepaper is one of source of information about the projects of ICOs, it is very important to know more about the projects on whitepaper and i always read the whitepaper of ICOs before desicions to make investment in them, we will know about the projects of ICOs is legit or not on their whitepaper. Should every one who interisting in the ICOs must read the whitepaper too.

I read white paper but not always, I follow ICO review expert and research on the project team of professionals.
Me too. To be honest, I don't read wite paper so often.  I think almost all of them are promising. I folow the opinion of my experts. The best of them is my good friend in the team who feels nice projects  Grin

Let's be honest that reading the whitepaper is too boring and I swear some here are like " yeah I read it " but when you see the almost a hundred pages of it you'll get too lazy to read it. Yeah I read the WP but just the important part like the roadmap like their mission and goals. Also the partnership is a must check but sometimes I ask the dev if they have the summary of their WP. If you are really smart, you should go all over it, since it's your money you'll going to invest or use, you should at least be extra careful by reading it, if you are lazy to read word by word then go all over on the important points.

Very well said. Just read the important points in the whitepaper but if you have free time try to read them all. It's worth to read more than less. Wink

Yes, I do have a glance of whitepaper of any project I want to invest because in there is alot of information and the roadmap of the particular project. Some investors don't bother themselves with the whitepaper because they feel its tedious but they invest blindly. Some of them thereafter lose their money because they do not care about the roadmap of the project.

If you want to invest or join their ICO make sure you read their whitepapers, to make sure the program they are working on has good prospects, if the program they run is good for us and their coins future it would not hurt us to invest our assets to them. because the structured roadmap is very helpful in for investors

I always read WP before considering investing in some project. I think it should be the first thing to do, beside looking at the website, the team etc...

I think that reading the white papers is highly important when judging whether a company is legit and how its future business opportunities will be.

Some medias help contrast the contents of the whitepaper. By reading their news and reports first, it can turn out to be an efficiency way to find out promising projects.  However I still think it reduces investment risks by reading thoroughly through whitepapers.

The range in quality for various crypto whitepaper is extreme. Some are professional, articulate, and contain great vision. Others, well... were probably written in crayon and should best be used as a fire-starter.

Of courses. Reading the whitepaper can help you evaluate how well the coin may execute its roadmap, which will give a prospective coin buyer good insight into how well the coin will perform.

I consider white papers one of the most important things to look at before even considering an investment. white papers contain lots of important information about the project ranging from the team of developers, then technology it operates on, investors, and other crucial information that affect decision making. i read white papers all the time, not only for the information but also for general knowledge.

Absolutely WPs are not everything, and they certainly are designed to be appealing to those who want to learn about the project. But if you want to understand the team's perspective and motivations, many times you can find this in their white paper. The more WPs you read, the better you'll get at understanding why they include some info and leave out others.

I read whitepaper sometimes because it gives also a knowledge for us about cryptocurrency and blockchain. Whitepaper of each project of a certain group or company has a big help for them to introduce their platforms and gives an encouragement to the investors who wants to invest in their coins.

the whitepaper use as a major factor in whether or not to invest in a new or existing crypto project, whether that be our money, time and/or support.
i cannot agree more about the importance of white papers although i must be honest and confess that i usually dont find time to read white papers... being someone who trades on coins...but to do a proper dd, one needs to read the white paper, websites, social media options...bitcoin blog talks...etc...
