something that is very disappointing for traders I think if this happens, but it mostly happens only to those who do not have patience and do not have market analysis. I usually see that most people who experience things like that are bounty hunters who panic when the price of the coins they get drops so that they have to give up everything they have.

This drive me nuts any time this happens, but you gotta move on. I still had similar experience about three weeks ago. I was holding on to a coin for some while, after tolerating the dip for a while, I couldn't take any more and sold off. Lol, three days later , it went on a bull spree, I was dumbfounded. It s just normal, in life yu gotta win and lose some.

There is a strategy to avoid such a problem, you just shouldn't sell all the coins straightaway. It is better to sell in parts. Especially if you are not sure if it is a peak of this currency. I think that everybody had such regrets some day when you sold and then it increased again. But what can we do? It is a crypto market, so it is good when you don't lose, let's be grateful just for it.

If it is not for a reason, I will not sell my coins, but if you trade frequently, this kind of thing is very common. There is no need to be angry. Everyone will sell their coins and they will go up. Regret, but we have to learn to look forward to adjust our emotions. Because the market is like this, no one can judge the trend of the next second, yes, you can also take a look at other coins, maybe you can seize other opportunities,

I'm the type that loves holding on to coins until they become useless for me so I escape this prison the day I started selling once profits are available, so the answer to your question is NO I don't get mad when I sell my coins as far as their is profits to be made on them, if they pump more later well I've already made some profits so im good

Yes i do and I think it's a normal stuff to get angry after selling for few bucks, I could remember selling my uniswap airdrop at $2+, now look at where uniswap is today, despite the fact that its a free money, I still get pissed off selling for peanut, likewise couple lots of other trades, the best thing I've learned from it is to just move on, profit is profit no matter how small it is

Almost everyone who's been in crypto has experienced this, but I personally won't regret the decision I made. because at the time I thought that was the best thing to do.
Don't push your luck too much because everyone has their share.
True, if we still get profit we should be grateful even if the price keep going up, no one know whats gonna happen in the future so its always 50/50 when it comes to that kind of chance.
Also if instead the price going down we gonna regret it as well, the most important thing is that we get profit and not losing, we can find another opportunity next time if we still have the chance to invest using our money again.
Regretting over thing that is cant controlled like that will just add more and more burden and thats not good.

Nothing is gonna change thinking of it, because it is our fate to sell low. I've thought in such a way. I've experienced it. I sold on of my holding at 5X profit from the investment. This is truly good, but on the next few weeks it marked 30X profit. What to do, just watched it and got mad of buying to experience the project, and somehow I didn't buy at the top. Till now it hasn't fallen low. Waiting for an opportunity to invest at the low bottom.

Ok. Here this calculated only for those investors who think that they were losers after a good pump. We are all helping to price up and you are one of them. After a certain level you were stopped, someone did before you and the rest of the investors were still forcing you to pump more. We won't be losers if we think that we need profit as others need. That's it.

No? The essential point is that I've already made a profit and that my investment has already proven to be worthwhile because it was doubled by investing rather than being saved in a bank with a poor annual percentage yield. It's preferable than regret not selling because you were expecting or greedy on the market; sometimes investors' investments are still stuck since they did not take profit. If you're a short-term trader better sell if you've already earned but if you're a long-term trader, I think this isn't a problem to you.

I have had several encounter on been unable to decide wether to sell or hold! I believe this scenerio will always play out as long as you are trading cryptocurrency! Setting a target price for your trade exit in advance usually work for me. I try to speculate on how much my intial holding could worth in a full fledge bull market. And when the price target is reach, I sell without looking back!

No, I'm not mad. there may be regrets sometimes, but I don't really think about it. when I sell, it means I make a profit. No matter how much profit I make, it's better than being late to sell. It's all about targeting, when the target is reached I'll make sure to sell it. never be greedy, it will only destroy you.
Selling faster because you have reached your profit target will always be better than having to wait for a bigger profit and in the end you will be greedy so you don't get anything, because current market conditions are very difficult to predict.

Yep, I used to have a very bitter experience because it was too early to sell my token, but that's in the past and for sure we will never be able to repeat it. it's what it's, as long as we get the profit that we want, I'll be happy with it

Can’t really answer the question in the OP because I’ve mostly only been HODLING since 2014, i rarely sell. What I would suggest though is never sell everything, always HODL some. Also don’t convert anything to fiat unless it’s productive like money towards a home or paying off debt or something. Basically don’t sell your crypto to go partying.
I agree with you and I take my hat off to you. You are holding since 2014, I think you are already a billionaire. I strongly agree that there is no need to cash out all of your coins into fiat unless you exchange them for urgent needs and transfer them to more promising investments such as buying land or real estate. But also keep in mind what coins you are holding because not all coins are valuable, you need observation and the right decision to choose.

I think everyone will definitely experience events like this but for me personally I never regret something that I have done because it was a decision that I have made, besides regret that I will not get anything

Do you also encounter this? And how do you deal with it?

Of course in fact I have one I HODL for two years and sold it and coin pump up after a few months, I am very mad to myself that I should have waited for a few months that coin is Doge, every time I think of my heartache I lose over a thousand dollars selling at the wrong time I should have extended my patient.

I have been investing in cryptos for some years now and i always have to fight a battle with myself whenever i sell some of my cryptos or close my positions in a trade and the price continues to go higher.

Sometimes i regret selling, while sometimes i just try not to look at the particular crypto anymore to avoid having regrets.

Do you also encounter this? And how do you deal with it?
Regret is not an emotion that should guide you. I think this is another lesson for you to move on. Yes, I understand that the project is promising and it has potential. But sometimes when you need money you have to make a choice.

I still often fall into the situation that OP mentioned. I lost a lot of the benefits that I should have received. Maybe now I've become numb to that feeling and then I just told myself to be more patient with my decision.
Newcomers to the cryptocurrency market often make mistakes. Many people left the market before the market made a profit for them.
